Alexei is a mean, greedy, and scheming animal. His attempt to abduct the boys is
ruthless and as heartless as the USSR. I think this disqualifies him as a human
and so can't you just kill him off? The wicked little bastard is messing everything
up. The Putain too.
Why do I have a tear in my eye? It's just a happy tear I assure you!
The secret's out for sure now, and it's only that confounded Council that needs to
come around., -that and the unhappy Felicity creature, the Youngs too must be
defeated.
Siggi's back among the living, raising hell and bitter as castor oil. I missed him for
some unknown reason. Playing music seems to calm him like nothing else does.
That seems to be the charm to his existence as far as he knows. Nothing else makes
him happy. Will it always be this way?
Victory in the courtroom is sweet, but it was an ordeal for everyone involved. Davey
will make an amazing lawyer some day. I'm proud of him, and Brian too for staying
on course.
Keith is a shrewd man, -abrupt, but with a heart. I hope the delaying tactic works.
The pressure is still on Vince and also Matt. I can absolutely sympathize with them.
I'd hate it. The interlude with Dave was comic. The silly guy is going to have to
re-think things, and that's good. I 've enjoyed each chapter of this story!
This is becoming like a chess game, and one with incredibly high stakes. Davey's
comments about Bush Jr. were right on target. This is all fascinating.
I'm happy to see this story again! It's a relief that Jon made it through his first day,
-almost. Only now he's got Ellis to deal with and he's up to no good. As if his nerves
aren't frazzled enough already...at least he's not alone.
Sooner than expected, the feds nabbed them. I'd hoped they wouldn't and I'm sure
Davey did too. The crazed mad scientist really fit the definition, didn't he?
This chapter is both sad and beautiful, a fitting memorial to a beloved lady.
I hope that the next time Suzie Young walks under the Tree, that it drops a big
branch on her head.
Josh is a very good actor. He's been doing it for a long time out of necessity.
This time there's a pleasant payoff, - probably for the first time.
I love the way you put us into the middle of it so well.
Oh my, and she fell into the rose bush too! Poor thing. I've been waiting for this,
hoping it would be gentle...but no, you had to have her land in a thorny rose bush.
Meanie!
Home at last! I can only be happy for George, although I'm not too sure what this
new appointment will entail for any future naval action. This should mean that he'll
have a chance to get to know his children better, which would be a good thing.
Caroline will get him up to date on matters in London, and this may be a much
needed furlough. After all, Napoleon is coming to liven things up a bit soon enough!
A most romantic chapter. I'm sure Andrew feels absolutely swept off his feet. It's
got to be as intimidating as it is beautiful. Now to meet more of the family...
I'd be overwhelmed, but Andrew is in love, and that trumps all.
I'm happy to see a new chapter to this interesting story. I was worried that you'd
dropped it, and that would be a shame. I've grown attached to this tale of love in
a cold climate. I'm finally beginning to warm up to Dmitri. He shows a true empathy
and tenderness with Gunni here that I didn't think he possessed. I knew he was
a good man with a big heart, just such a hopeless slut! I was worried about Gunni.
Seemed like leading a lamb to slaughter; Schoolboy meets the Whore of Babylon
(I hear she had a big heart too!). You gave him a new depth and I like him much more
now.
Speaking of now, -What's Siggi up to?
This is an enlightening chapter, full of revelations, and confusions. Small town
life at it's best and worst. I admire Aunt Cynthia more and more as we find out
how she got to be who she is now. I had a feeling about Karen and Shane, -they
challenge each other. It wouldn't surprise me to see Shane take on Aunt Cynthia's
role some day. Mama S. is a treasure with her strength and love for the good
people of the town. She values love most of all in the town of amour. We'll see if
Mrs. Neilson can finally let go of her hatred. Ironically, her son seems to have done
so long ago and now has a loving family. But some people just don't want to let go of
the past and tit's pain. It can become a way of life and tempers everything in their
world.
Damned Earth politics! Money and power. Of course people haven't changed a bit.
Konstantin must feel like he's just been tossed into a mosh pit. At least he's alive
and the boys are safe. Now to get them back together.
Love's sprouting up all over the place, -and to think everybody thought The Tree
was dying! That tree will be as big as the whole town at this rate.
-I do hope Shane's OK.
The sight of the Santa Clarita must be thrilling to Granger. There's an interesting
story behind this I'm sure. It'll be hard to wait for the details for sure.
Lovely ending to this chapter. Matt meets The Tree. I wonder what brought on
that sigh? Being the Heart comes with responsibilities, or burdens as Vince sees it.
I don't think I'd be happy about that part either.
This may seem to be pedantic,, but exactly what kind of tree is this anyway?
