First, I chose 'Love' because the lyrical self persevered. With every stanza shackles have been shed, freedom came closer for body, mind and soul. You found perfect words to describe a rough road. I myself feel a little raw and shaken after reading this. Thank you for sharing, Gary. ~Adi

What's a comma?

I had always stories in my head, when I began writing them down I never had an editor or beta reader even though it might have been better if another person had read them. Now I write mostly in my second language and having a team is mandatory. I would doubt every sentence and never publish a story because I hate making mistakes and annoy readers with my stuff. In the past I read every comment at least five, maybe ten times, being afraid I made a mistake. Now I scaled it down to two times, at most. I'm writing with an accent, deal with it, but my stories have to be the best I can do and I'm forever thankful for my team @Valkyrie and @Cole Matthews. You rock guys, without you I would read stories and write very short comments.

Or Schwarmerei (Schwärmerei) is a less intensive form of being in love, at least around here. Your interpretation of swarmerei is really crass. And now I have to google how you guys pronounce it.
