I'd never thought of the possibility of combining the prompts, but it makes perfect sense for this story. The two perspectives help to understand both men, their hopes and fears, in a way they reveal their characters traits. I hope our prompts will be able to inspire you again.

Beautiful! I agree with @AC Benus 'You are a master in this form.' I enjoyed these, especially surprising lines like: I watch the stars emerge over the tomatoes. For whatever reason it made me smile. The last is my favorite. Thank you.

My first anthology series told a story from the perspective of four different persons. I've learned much since then but it was an interesting experience. Since then I like to write (from my perspective ) experimental stories for the anthologies. Wolves like to play.

I always wondered if famous authors stare at a white sheet of paper or a blinking cursor, wrestling with the very first word, the first sentence, like me. There is a story somewhere, but how to begin? Or do the words just pour out of them? PT#77 Let’s borrow an opening line of a famous book and write a short piece of fiction or a poem. I’m pretty much f*cked. (The Martian by Andy Weir) All children, except one, grow up. (Peter Pan by J.M: Barrie) He was born with a gift of laughter and a sense that the world was mad. (Scaramouche by Rafael Sabatini) PT#78 Play with perspectives. Write the same story from the perspective of at least two persons.

Read, read! I can't wait to finally be able to do that. Are we there yet?

It's sounds like the perfekt garden to me.

You wove a compelling allegory, and it needed an antagonist for its message, but I feel sorry for the weed, biologically it's often more valuable than well tended cultivated plants. I hope your lone sonnet gets a companion or two.

I think my shortest anthology story was a little over 1k, the longest around 9k. I tend to write shorter stories, less words means less room for mistakes which is a very important aspect for someone who doesn't write in his first language. Never stress your editor.

Prompt #74- That’s Where You’ll Find Me
Aditus commented on W_L's story chapter in Prompt #74- That’s Where You’ll Find Me
I'm glad the prompt inspired you to experiment and create a character you haven't written before. The story took an unexpected and surprising turn. I really like how you used the prompt. -
Still a bit short-winded, I present to you the Friday Prompts! PT# 73: You stare at your best friend’s wedding list. Instead of pots and pans or nifty gardening equipment with useful links where you could order it, you read: Surprise us! As your friends love “quirky things with character”, you decide to go to a yard sale. In the end, you have to choose between a huge, inflatable pink flamingo, a hand-pottered caterpillar-shaped bowl, and a coat rack that looks like a human spine. What do you choose and why? Or do you find something else? PT# 74 Ever since you saw a lady wearing a pink cowboy hat in a video on YouTube, you keep seeing her all over the city, even in your favorite bar serving drinks. Who is she? Is she real? Or are you having a Perception moment?

Three Summer Skyscrapers
Aditus commented on Parker Owens's story chapter in Three Summer Skyscrapers
Naturally, I'm taken by the lone wolf. I can clearly see him sitting in a forest glade, maybe wondering about shooting stars? In my part of the world the crows hurl insults at the rose-ringed parakeets. I enjoyed your midsummer skyscrapers very much. Thank you. -
I really like #72, I even have an idea, but I'm still too out of it. Thank you , for taking over, Val.

I won't explain what I always pictured when I read this word.

I know it really means don’t argue with me, or just do it (please), or even indulge me. What I’m asking for is to make me and everyone else laugh in my very special, weird way. PT #65 Explain why the MC of your prompt story is standing in front of their house in their underwear, with one sock on the left foot and a cooking spoon in their hand. PT #66 After a long flight, someone grabs their suitcase, marked with a bright yellow band to avoid any mix-up, from the luggage belt. At the hotel, they open it and find out it’s definitely not their suitcase. What do they find? And remember, make us laugh, no stinky socks, boring books, or lame leatherette boots.

How long will it take until a tumbleweed blows past a lone saguaro somewhere in my garden?
-
Oh, the perfect question thank you Terry. I love collaborating with other authors. We inspire and motivate each other. If I run into a problem, I instantly have the right people to ask. I was lucky though, I always found authors who wanted to make it work, it was never a chore but always fun.

The Bachelor Farmer is one of my favorites too and I'm not saying this because I'm too lazy to look up the link or I had the honor to beta read the story. I'm a character fixed reader, Sven and Nels captured me right from the beginning. There was something between them, but will they dare to follow up the sizzling? Woven in the time and the problems involved... I really love this story.
-
@Timothy M., it's okay. If anyone would ask me stuff about my older stories, it would probably the same.
-
Yup, especially when I envisage what's for breakfast.

Ugh, Oktoberfest. There's so much more and better entertainment: Cologne Pride 2022 Rock am Ring Rock im Park Asphalt Festival in Düsseldorf Parookaville Okay, I stop here, lol

@Gary L That's great praise, thank you so much.

Do they fight foo or cause foofaraw or raw foo? So confusing...
