    Moon Festival

Aditus posted new chapter in Sharp Shorts

“Grandpa?” “Hm?” I turned around from watching the moon disappearing behind a cloud. Tig sat among her Legos. “What’s a fuck fest?” I swallowed. My daughter had asked me to watch her pups while she was out celebrating the Moon Festival with her mate. And today of all days her six-year-old had to ask me this. I threw a withering gaze at her brother, who pretended to be engrossed in whatever he was doing on his laptop. As if I hadn’t seen the twitch at the corner of his mouth. “Where did

This has been my flash fiction collection 2022. Due to unforeseeable developments, spontaneous ideas, and the wolf and the dragon not keeping their mouths shut it is now my Claws and Paws flash fiction collection. Shorts will be added randomly.

Well, it's Pfingsten here, a long weekend. I got up just to read the wrap up, of course. Now I'll enjoy brunch and wait for the thunderstorm. I might write a wolfish prompt-story later.

It was all familiar, yet different too. I'm glad I know another flower sniffer now. I enjoyed them very much. Thank you.

@Valkyrie You just had to stir the pot, right? so don't complain. @Cole Matthews It was only an example, so that everyone understood what I meant. I like Aaron's idea better too.

@BrysonGood idea. A movie started in my mind and the beginnings of a story developed but then @astone2292 snatched it away.. Anyway, good prompt ideas are always welcome.

    Prompt Us!

Aditus posted a blog entry in Writing World

We always tell you what to do. Write a story, a poem using this or that. I thought we could do it the other way around this Friday. You tell us what to write. For example, @Valkyrie Write a story beginning with a Valkyrie, an Erinys, and an Oracle meet at a spa, or @Cole Matthews Please write another sonnet. (He will probably kill me for this.) So, good-bye if you don’t hear from me anymore. If there is more than one prompt, we get to choose and the rest go into the guest prompt bank. PT #53 Prompt us. PT #54 It’s Pride month. Write a poem a story, whatever you want, and tell us what Pride means to you or to a fictitious character.

The wolf's perspective comes easy to me.

Sometimes you get the wolf, sometimes he gets you, that's life. I'm not sad. I liked it. (The story and the ending.)

Or he was a member of the Bremen town musicians and the donkey and the rooster were hiding. Anyway, very cool cat. Grey and sleek, what's not to like.

@spike382Your words are very motivating and encouraging, thank you for these. To be honest, I'm sitting on my hands as to not post the first chapters, because I'm so curious to learn what you guys think. I understand more and more that I really need the feedback, but this time I aim for completing the story before publishing it, even if it's difficult. To be open for new things and all....
