A great story! Already the start has been very promising. Reading on, I had fun picturing Vic wearing underwear under his Lycra suit. I liked Melvyn/Melanine. Vic calling himself Victor at the end was perfect. I had fun, thank you for sharing. -

Really? Do you think Malachi told Adrigal his predecessor went missing? Marie worked there the same time as Adrigal. All he heard she quit because she was bored. Would you try to contact a colleague who quit and maybe moved? If not, how would you learn they went missing? Thanks for your comment, drought.

Why? Stephen vanished at least five years ago. There was no body. Not every missing person case becomes a murder investigation, sometimes people just vanish. Marie only quit her job because she found a more interesting place to work. Where? We don't know. Maybe in another city, state. Would the police there ask her former employer in another city, state when she goes missing? Or her current employer? I don't think so. Adrigal went missing maybe a month ago. Do you think they normally crossreference employers of missing persons ? Hindsight is a bitch, they don't need to be embarrassed. Thank you for the comment, Tim.
