I don't know if the entire story happened as it is put down here, but I hope it did. This would have been a very defining moment. It was the point in which four parents began to pull their heads out of their asses (no offense) and hopefully would begin to be there again the way a parent should. I have to say 'go Beau!' for doing the research he did and not depending on the ignorance of the day or a 2000 year old book, to decide how to react. He also got right to the heart of the matter with his recognizing the kids didn't trust them anymore and rightly so. They should have fought for their kids, against the likes of Rainier. Instead they let him bully them into treating their kids wrong. But now, you had the rape to deal with. I hope you were able to tell someone. My first experience with anything sexual, but for some kissing, was the same. Only, I was much older. I know how it affected me and I can't imagine if it had happened at such a young age and while you were going through so much. Once again, the friends will probably be the ones to get you through. I wish the parents had been there enough b/c an adult's support would have gone a long way. I know that after the things said, going to the police would have probably been useless b/c they'd have piled on the ignorance and said you asked for it or some shit. But, at least if the fathers went and beat the shit out of this scumbag plumber, it might have been a start at stopping him from doing what he was doing. This story is tragic in many ways, but life can be that way. I give you credit for fighting through it. The story is also written so well. Look forward to more.

Great chapter. You did a great job of working the title in which is a minor point. The emotion between the boys really showed how they felt. I'm not sure the sex could be called 'making love' though lol. I give Daniel credit for standing up for himself with Adam and for not throwing his friendship with Steven away when Adam requested that. It wouldn't be right to do that and moreso, it wouldn't do them any good. It would establish a foundation based on mistrust. What would they do, remove temptation whenever Adam felt threatened? If Adam can't come to trust him, I don't think it will work. Not that I blame him for being upset about another kiss happening or worrying about Steven being a possible threat. But, if he thinks Daniel is worth it, he's going to have to give him a chance to prove himself. I have a feeling the next month won't be easy for them both, given teen angst and all. lol He was dramatic saying he wouldn't be able to contact Daniel given he knows his last name and the town he lives in. Wouldn't take more than a few minutes to track him down. I hope that Daniel gives himself that month to deal with all the emotions even if he ultimately decides to be with Steven b/c going from beginning to love someone or at least feeling strongly enough to give his virginity to him which clearly meant something to him and jumping into another relationship, wouldn't be healthy either. Hopefully, they can get to know each other a bit better and Adam can grow to trust him. that is the first step b/c it is the foundation of a relationship, along with respect and communication. Now his mom crossed a line. That is wrong to read a personal note. I hope she glanced at it and realized it was personal. He's still in her house, but old enough to deserve some privacy. Keep writing!

Though echo is some sort of AI, I feel badly for it. I wonder if it is powered by the connection that the furballs have. Is their destruction affecting him? There is still alot to be explained. I can't wait.

I love this story. I don't know what made me happier, seeing Jackson and Casey finally bond or having Vash take on Jackson. There are interesting times to be had with these three. Vash will definitely be necessary to help these two stubborn men come together. I hope he doesn't go crazy first! For all his age, Jackson is dreadful when it comes to mates and love. These two need to whip him into shape, if casey can overcome his anger.

God, it's so hard to read this. It's hard not to wish you could have been there to reach out to a child going through this. It's so much for a child to go through, way too much! I am only glad that there were friends there so that you weren't totally alone. But, they weren't equipped to help you with these issues. I only hope people reading this would be willing to reach out to a child they thought might be struggling with anything like this and try to help. That bastard plumber better have gotten his at some point. Now to add rape to all of this. My heart bleeds for the kid you were.

It seems somewhat unbelievable that Luca could be equipped to deal with the likes of the Generals of the 13 or many of the other characters we have met. with the turn of events which has the demon/ysabel in charge of one of the 13 now, I have to question what he'd do if she and her brother came to take over the estate? This just seems really risky for Alex to not at least leave Talia in charge. His position was still a bit precarious in that I am sure someone could challenge him at this time, so it seems crazy to do this in this moment. Now, they are depending on some scheme by the slavers to get through? What about the underground routes? Well, this should prove interesting. I don't see how doing it unarmed is possible, but if anybody can, this group probably can. I had to laugh at the image of what they found when they entered the slavers headquarters and found Talia waiting with it all done. She's a piece of work. I would have liked to see Alex and Carlin touch base after he surprised him with the plan. What did Carlin think of it? Did Alex and he have a heart to heart? Things had been so strained between them that I was hoping to see them interact a bit.

This has taken a really terrible turn and how in the world would they find one another again when they don't even know the world they are in. Where would they begin to look? It's a shame the boys never took time to talk to people and figure out the dangers in this world. That may have saved them from walking alone on a road slavers picked people off of. I hope it isn't cor he heard screaming but I have a feeling it was. That said, I don't want to read about him being tortured for very long, so I hope you have him out of that soon. I don't see what Justin can do given he has no idea where he is and the other slave doesn't seem to either. Where would he start looking for his friend even if he could get away? I'm really not enjoying the turn this took.

Wow, so does the voice belong to one of the beings that we thought were no longer there? Who Is it I wonder? I feel so badly for the furballs b/c they are losing their hive mind. Will it come back when they aren't as scared and tired? I hope so. I'm very attached to the little guys It seems even the furballs haven't ever heard a voice from the spire since they were scared. I'm really excited to see what is going on. I hope they are getting ready to kick some ass! Esp. that of the Commander. I'm sure she's safe up on some ship far away from the action though.

These two are kinda frustrating me. Clearly Josh feels something for me, but he's damaged somehow. He's allowing himself to be used. I said it before, but why doesn't liam follow-up on everyone's doubts and check into this guy. I'm sure he is married or something. I feel like galen should be honest with Ethan. he should admit to being a bit torn and give Ethan the chance to decide whether to stick it out. If not, he's playing with Ethan b/c he can't give his whole self to the relationship. It was really sweet that he got the horse. They really got him good! I hope you will bring some resolution to these two somewhat soon. It's frustrating to watch, frankly. I wonder if the bf will make it down to the party for Josh. Should be interesting if he does. Glad Liam stopped him from going after a kiss from Josh. But, his trying shows this is a toxic situation for them both. I'm hoping Allanah gets the guts to go on a date and get Liam to decide what to do. She should get someone to pose as a date and make him get his crap straight. It's ridiculous to make this girl sit around so long and wait. he's acting like he's in h.s. and afraid to ask the popular girl out or something. it's ridiculous. Ugg, the men in this story are really frustrating..

I love the chemistry between these two, and I think they have the potential to heal one another. that said, I think they're in huge danger and wonder how they can possibly escape it. I have to confess that I am confused by certain things. I guess it is more that I am wanting way more details so things are more clear. I was surprised to learn that Dimitri wasn't law enforcement as I had believed. that said, I guess it makes sense since the cops seemed to be on his tail and didn't know of him. I guess it works since they now have a lot in common. That all said, I am very confused by the players. I'm also confused about who has what interests, whether Gabriel's brother is wanting to protect Talen and if he is wanting to be with Talen or using his being Gabe's twin to manipulate him. Why would he send people to 'get Dimitri in trouble' and not make sure they didn't kill Talen when he wants him to get back in the game. Another thing that kinda didn't make sense is that it is said Talen was deep into the Brahtva, though it doesn't seem he was working them from the inside like Dimitri has. I questioned how he could do it when he doesn't have the same background and instincts to protect himself. yes, he was quick and saved Dimitri and himself from the assassin, but then he froze. How did he deal with these mobsters without that type of experience and live? something else that confused me was why the Pajari family was trying to get Gabe to work with them before he was killed but sent an assassin in. Was it his brother they were after? Why kill a guy you're trying to get to work with you? Gabe hadn't turned them down yet so it seemed strange to kill him. And if they were out for the brother, then why didn't they go after him since then? I guess Lucian knows Ilia is alive and is hiding it to get Dimitri into the game. I wonder why Lucas' brother doesn't have more guilt about his brother being pushed into this life so he can live a quiet life with his wife. I didn't sense a guilt there that I'd feel if my brother had to get in bed with these people to protect me. I'm hoping things will become a bit more clear. While Dimitri is a fierce guy, he has to see that he can't really protect talen, so it seems like a pipe dream to promise or believe he can. I hope we get more details soon to clear up some of the things that are foggy still. Look forward to more.

so glad to see Aki finally embracing his role as guardian a bit. At least he realizes he'd been shirking his duties. He's young, but he did choose to do the job so he should try his best to do it. I'm also pleasantly surprised by Ishca. He really has taken an interest in Hel and his well-being. I'm glad to see him encouraging Aki to care for him. He has a depth to him that I didn't see in the beginning. It was hidden behind that façade he probably wore for so long where he was before...showing only his sexuality and his desire for the better things in life. It looked like that was all he was when he got to Aki's. So, it's nice to see this deeper side of him. Great chapter.

I hope the kid actually goes home and isn't trying to live in the fort, but at least he had somewhere to go. How far is the brother living from him now? Does he see doug at all? Does Doug have any idea what is happening to him at home?

Really exciting chapter. I wanted them to ask the one question of why bother asking Jim to experiment on Kyle when the commander had ordered the attack on the planet? very interesting reason to want to destroy this place, though I can't imagine not wanting to gain what you can from it first, even with her way of thinking. I love her contempt for the beliefs of people that they created! outing people from school for a fist fight. They created a weak bunch of peace loving people to rule over and hide reality from them, but criticize them for being weak and ignorant? It's kinda ridiculous. This woman is so the female version of the guy leading the troops in that Avatar movie. lol that machine she's running is pretty sick too. I love the 'it can knock down mountains.' These furballs better get their energy rays going again! I'm really intrigued by the aliens that gave them these powers. I find it so weird that the furballs have advanced so little or at least have so small a grasp on what they were left by these beings. I am really excited to see how this hive mind works. It seems like they have access to the knowledge gained and the experiences of the generations before them. It was so cool to see things that Kyle/Jim said wake up memories for them. They really should be keeping Tag near them. he needs to jump in their pocket or something b/c he is important in their ability to understand one another! I am wondering what other animals exist on the planet. It doesn't seem like the scientists ever got very far in their understanding of the planet yet. Are there any other creatures that were touched by the beings? Do they interact with any other creatures (the furballs I mean)? It sucks that the commander can tell when they make a connection to the furballs, but at least she can't share their thoughts as far as we know. They are really up against it at the moment. There is a lot out there for these two to fight. Hope the other soldiers aren't there yet! They better get 'thinking' to the furballs to find where the other temples are and whether there are weapons that can be wielded. This is pretty crazy. Looking forward to it though!

Glad the boys are back together. Thanks to Dr. P, I now saw the autobio tag, but I will still say I hope the boys who all got screwed by that guy were able to find someone to support them somehow. I would kinda like to know what happened to poor Nick and what is really going on for Brian. It would have been cool if they could all find a way to get together and at least be supportive of one another. scotty and jimmy are lucky they had one another again. Too bad Jimmy couldn't as some jock friends to look out for Scotty. But then, it would possibly get back that they weren't enemies and endanger what they had. Maybe the coach will help. I really can only hope the boys got together at some point and did some redecorating for that Ranier guy the story continues to be very good.

Wow ...really powerful story. It shows what seeds of hate and intolerance that even one person spreads, can do. There is something in the water in that town though. I don't know if that period and/or the place truly caused homosexuality to be that hated. But there were other problems here like the abuse of kids and the lack of sanity in these kids homes. It is so sad to think how these innocent kids were so affected by all of these events all kicked off by a guy who probably didn't like who he was and wanted to hate himself and took it out on these kids. I'm glad this coach and principal seem to care and have some sense. I was so happy to see the boys get together. I worry about that little kid, Nick. These counselors can screw a kid up badly at that age. Ugg...overall the story is thought provoking b/c I am sure these experiences happened to many. You created characters that are easy to become invested in. Great story.

oh man...mean cliffhanger. These two are killing me b/c they aren't asking questions about this world they are just wandering. I don't hear them asking where the cities are and where there would be a sorcerer. Why is it dangerous according to Cor? They had someone who can get a message to royalty, yet they don't question him. it seems very odd to me. I'd like to see you show them as having an interest in the world they are in, who are the people and what country are they in? Are there magic users in the general population? Have they heard of people coming from strange places like they did? their not doing that is not making sense for me. I'm confused as to why they left the relative safety of a group of wagons and went alone in a world they know nothing about. Maybe a beta reader could help you with that. that said, this should get interesting! what will they do if they are separated? How were they caught?

Ok, so it was funny, though it kinda made it unbelievable that Louis would risk going there in a business setting. I'm glad he's been forward to with Xavier asking whether this chick is his gf. Glad he's showing the confidence to do that.

Talk about a brief amount of joy. Now what can they do? Can the furballs lead them to the weapons they have? Don't they have something to fight back with? Man, it will suck if their sacred temple that heals them is destroyed. Stupid gov't doesn't realize it's ruining the place that could make it possible for humans to live there. though I think the pod that changed them might need the aliens to work. They should be keeping Tag with them b/c he's important in their communicating with the furballs. Jim must be in his glory, well if he had time to enjoy it. As a scientist, to be able to interact and communicate with the aliens would be amazing. Not to mention being able to go out into the environment. The guys better be careful. i'm sure the gov't would like to know how they can now breathe the air.

I really hope he gives Ethan his fair chance b/c Josh doesn't want him that way. He had his chance. sadly, Josh and he aren't good as friends right now. By Josh showing he is no thrilled with him dating is unfair. he can't have it both ways. that is selfish. I fear Ethan is going to get hurt. clearly he really likes Galen and can Galen give him a chance when he is around Josh regularly? I don't think so. the date was fun and different. I think Ethan could be good for Galen. I just hate to see him hurt. Galen needs to think if he can do this before he continues forward.

I'm dyin to know more about what Aki is. I love how he picked up on the prior convo right after he was done with the sex. isn't that what we women are supposed to do...never let things go? lol great chapter. I was wondering if there are directions that these sanctuary workers are supposed to follow? Is there an guide for how far they should go to help those who come in? Are they supposed to be very temporary places for them to live or what. It seems so much like Aki is flying by the seat of his pants. At minimum, you'd think those in these positions would know more about all types of supers? how organized are they?

awesome chapter! poor furballs saved them. kyle could show a bit of gratitude and some faith. he is still alive which is already their doing and they clearly revere the two of them and wouldn't hurt them knowingly.. doesn't he get that their lungs would have to change to be able to breath the air? well, hopefully jim wasn't as aware of the pain with no way to call out for an explanation like kyle could. can't wait for more.

Well I'm glad Gabriel lived. I thought it a strange beginning to a story. I really thought the kid was dead from that description though. Can't say I didn't see it coming that Joey had a thing for him. it's too bad he held it in for so long! It seems like he's not going to be the one chosen. I feel kinda badly for him, since he's the one that has been there for Erik all these years. I'd be interested in what type of relationship Gabriel and Erik had. Did they say hi to each other in the halls but never had a conversation? Had they ever talked to one another?

found this yesterday and I really am enjoying it. A really cute story and I'm sure for young people dealing with being gay and coming out, it would be a real help in a lot of ways. I laughed out loud at a bunch of things. 'I'm not being a creeper~~can I have some of your hair?' LMAO. that was funny So when will he think of Scotty for Artie...I'm hoping next weekend at his house, little Scotty happens upon them. Artie has to be there of course They they can take off to hang out and the boys can be alone. anyway...I am hoping the boy can talk about some deeper stuff. Jesse is so open, but I wanna see Tristan open up and talk more about himself so Jesse can get to know him. I absolutely loved him telling off Jason so well. I'm looking forward to more.

I hope we learn more about Jason soon. We don't know what made him run from home. Though with a mother like that, and she's the good one in the bunch apparently, I can see why. she probably tells him when to pee. Why is Jason so cowed by his mom? He could have said he didn't feel strong enough to travel yet and he'd go home when he was able. It seems he had the brave moment where he left a life he wasn't happy in and I wonder if he'll have the guts to do it again, now that his attempt at freedom was thwarted.

Is that an April Fool's ending? That was utterly horrifying. I'm kinda at a loss for where the story will go. It was really violent and I just am not sure it will be my type of story. It was a shocking end to a chapter.
