  1. Have I ever told you how much I hate cliffhangers😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫! Intense chapter!

    Chapter 6

There is such a lovely sensitivity to your storytelling. It is the small touches such as the scene about the schnitzel and the office conversation. Your writing keeps pulling me in.
  3. I know every good story has to have a foil but can we just hit DELETE on Dexter, please? I mean, who would know? 😜this is really well written. The scene and character come to life. Nice job!

    Chapter 4

This chapter brings tears to my eyes as I had the honor and good fortune of traveling with someone when I was in my teens who discovered missing members of her father’s family who survived the Holocaust and connected them with her own father.
  5. Our little boy is growing up….or growing a pair! Great chapter.

    Chapter 3

This is well written and engaging. As one who has conducted a few such searches, your descriptions are spot on. I am looking forward to future installments.

    Chapter 2

A chilling recounting of a dark part of history. Beautifully written. I am looking forward to how this story unfolds.
  8. Instead of lamenting, here is how to handle a rip:
  9. “Life would go on for all of us, and we could only look to the future now.“ Call me a cynic or a pessimist if you must but a chill ran through me when I read these words. I hope I am wrong but isn’t this usually what gets written before some kind of new hell breaks loose? Great foreshadowing, if indeed it is. Just looking to the future — of this story. 😂

    Chapter 56

Between your cliffhangers and an author on Nifty who is equally as 'challenging," I am going to need Valium this week. 🤣

    Sesso a tre

You never fail to deliver and this time it was triplets, so to speak! Loved the end to this chapter but I do fear for Calvert.

    Chapter 51

    Sorry about the repost

    Chapter 51

I will never object to long or longer chapters from you. And that objection will not be overruled!

    1.

It always is a treat when I see your name as author of a story. Thanks for making my day.

    Finley

This is becoming evermore intriguing. Great imagination.
  16. Me thinks our young hero is dangerously close to killing the proverbial goose that lays the golden egg….
  17. Well you "done good" with both the story and the research. So just stay on a starboard tack and you should have smooth sailing.
  18. I had to check out the CW Hood day sailer -- an absolute eyegasm. What I would give to get a chance to sail on one of those! Oh and the chapter was good too. But that boat.........!

    HMS Endymion

Something tells me this temporary assignment will be a bit longer than anticipated.
  20. Now that Gray knows the score, I gotta feeling this is not going to end too well for the cops and their buds. I’m just saying…..

    Drammàtico

I’d first noticed it when I’d started tutoring Chris in chemistry, revisiting the cosmic dance between electrons and protons that permits both cars and cats to exist. I had uncovered a wonder in him about the way things worked at this tiny, tiny level…. In trying to explain life we have reduced it to a series of chemical reactions, whether it be the burning of glucose in mitochondria to create energy, or the folding of proteins to make bile, or pollen, or blood. Zoom out to where we perceive things, the titanic mathematics of it all is silent. We have twisted our thoughts and feelings into all sorts of psychological origami about whether these things are a result of evolution, intelligent design, or creation ex nihilo, and for all we know, our little planet is the only place that holds all of this wonder in a void that is too staggeringly huge to conceive. I am utterly caught by the poetry in these lines. So clean, so beautiful, and so thoughtful.

    Chapter 15

Another great chapter but more important — feel better and heal quickly.

    Chapter 11

I never stop being blown away by the imagination and intelligence you bring to your writings and this chapter is just one more piece of proof.

    Chapter 1

A very smart and inviting start. I am looking forward to Chapter 2. One thing, please find an editor or proof reader. The content is spot on but the spelling, word choice and grammar are a bit disconcerting. Make you words worthy of your storytelling.

    Chapter 1

“I blew a few raspberries, trying to dislodge the stray piece of cat hair I felt on my tongue. “Dammit, Martini. Why do you have to shed?” I gave up trying to pull my sock up and pinched my tongue a few times until I snagged the errant hair. Gotcha, you little bastard!” It is openings like this that make you one of my favorite authors! Such attention to details no one else would ever have thought of. This is the kind of thing that makes your writings so alive!
