Kiernan grew up in this story and Robin.... Robin is perfect for him. Loved the mention of Zultan, Zander and Bey. Wow, Jackie turned into a BITCH!! I saw the jealousy coming a few chapters back, but this is way over the top. So glad Mark had Gary and Diane with him because now he doesn't have a family. I hope you let Brent tell her off and walks out on her. And maybe in the future, Mark tells her she's no longer his family. Emotional chapter and I'm guessing the next one is going to be even worse. Mark's Dad has no bearing on this as far as I'm concerned. He's a non-entity. But Jackie. She's a skank!!!!!

First: Great chapter. Loved the introduction of the friends. Second: I was really hoping that Becca fell overboard on a cruise ship or did something not to come back, even though I don't want Shas unhappy. But really, that girl needs a tranquilizer or something. She takes the role of big sister - bigger bitch to seriously. LOL. So glad Shas and Robin put her in her place. Yay. I like this story. I'm glad you've finally given us a little insight into Joe's life. Not liking Brandon at all, but I guess somebody has to be the a**hole in the story, right? One criticism though, the pacing feels a little rushed. You went from them having a great time on Sunday to Wednesday in a few words and I felt like I was missing something, like what did Rex think about. Was he worried that Joe wasn't serious? Rex seems to be a little too accepting. He thinks a question but doesn't follow through. He commented mentally on Joe's 'you and me' phrasing but didn't ask for clarification, he just noted it. Shouldn't he have asked Joe what he meant? or angst-ed over it for a while? But this is your first story and I do like it and I've got a faith that you'll get much better. Keep writing cause I want to know if Rex really is psychic and is Brandon going to try to hurt them. Will we meet more of Joe's family or Rex's friends and co-workers?
