I found this story 2 days ago and saved it to read when I could concentrate. I just read all the chapters in the past 90 minutes. Was on chapter 7 when I saw you post this one. Running with the Pack was (still is) one of my all time favorite stories and I had wondered when or if there would ever be a part 2. It took me a minute of hard thinking to remember who Chris was but when I did.... whoa. Of all the people, I hadn't thought to ever find out what happened to him after he left Michael. Thank you so much for telling his story. And a journal....what a novel approach. But it really fits and the insight into his growth is inspiring. He is really growing and learning. It's hard to read about what he was thinking when it came to Ethan and Aiden and to find out how truly messed up he was, raping his 'friends' well, that was so heartbreaking. Michael was truly a psychopath with a lot of sociopath thrown in for good measure. I was wondering about the time line when I was reading the other chapters and this chapter provided it. Seeing this from his point of view, I can understand his fear that Michael is coming after him. But we know where Michael is at this point...he doesn't even remember Chris. Kyle and Corey are truly good guys and are showing Chris what real friendship is. How is he going to react when he hears about all the other things that are going to happen back home? Especially, when he finds out how Michael ends up. Thank you so much for getting over that pesky writer's block. It was keeping me from enjoying your wonderful imagination and continuing this saga.

I read this and my heart stopped. Then I read "nothing to worry about" and went whew! Every day you wake up is a blessing. And you're surrounded by love Plus you're doing the healthy thing by writing your feelings down and sharing with all of us.

But what was the purpose of attacking and taking the trespassers and leaving the one with Lydia's mates soul? So sad that members of the streak died.

Field Trip!!!! I like the interaction between Betty and William. She has the same sensitivity that her son does. Like mother, like son. The mystery vampire sent Stephen to Betty to ferret out information on Colin and Devon. I hope he's not evil but then....only our dear author knows. If this very old Vamp is using humans to provide blood to him, that means there are humans in Charleston who are aware of vampires. Hummm??

True dat!!! CIA, NSA, NCIS and any other alphabet agency....even the MIB (Men in Black). Who knows? But Buddy can find out anything.

I've got an idea as to who David is but I'm not telling (said in a 4 year old sing song voice ). And I agree with Droughtquake...Betty and Wille.. yeah, good idea This story keeps getting better and better and all the twists, just keep my interest and enjoyment peaked. By the way...where's Burke? Is he still there? Did he go back to the caves? And what happened to the caves and the people there? Did you tell us and I'm now drawing a blank? Oh well, I've been drawing blanks all day at work, so why stop now?

Oh WOW. I read this when you posted it and just realized I didn't review. Ooops. I was so glad to see a new chapter. I knew my sweet kitty would have them jumping through hoops. And now they'll all work together to fool the Mafia and live happily ever after. Are the new guys going to be part of the 'crew'? I didn't realize that I started reading this story 2 years ago!! And I really don't want to see it end. There's so much more that can happen

I wasn't on Team Alex but the last couple of chapters have me on the fence. It's going to take a lot for Liam to really trust him but I'm glad he's giving Alex another shot at friendship at least. If more develops, then good. Alex is saying all the right things and making the right moves, so lets see how he handles Liam at the game. And Drew, Sasha D may not like you only giving her Sixth Circle 2 out of 5 stars!!! I'd rather tackle calculus (which I avoided like the plague all through high school and college) than go up against those characters and Sasha

Doing the same thing, over and over and over and getting the same result. Handing the heart over and then getting it back all bloody and torn. I know the feeling of thinking you've found that kindred spirit only to get disappointed. I'm behind those battlements Columbus Guy spoke of. Maybe one day, life's claws will let me go and I'll find that small measure of peace. (deep sigh). G, you've made me think deep thoughts right before bedtime. LOL. Here's a hug for us both.

This chapter almost made me cry! Sad tears and happy tears. Willie is so sweet and Colin loves him. The love they feel for each other just flowed off the page. But WHOA, I wasn't expecting him to look like Devon described in the bathroom scene. I was thinking he was in his late 60's but to find out that he had a really fit body and was only a few years older than Colin...yum. I can't wait to find out how he reacts to the world. I hope that there's something that can be done to help his brain injury and PTSD. I seriously believe that PTSD is one of the most overlooked and mis-understood issues facing veterans. I never understood how society thought that soldiers could come home from a war zone and just pick up where they left off without any problems. I knew some Vietnam war vets when I was in college and the stories they told and the reactions they had were so outside of my 21 year old experience that all I could do was shake my head. One of them stayed drunk all the time but if you talked to him you never knew it. Super intelligent, too. He told us stories of being a 'tunnel rat' in Vietnam. When I got older I saw a movie about the tunnel rat's and I remembered him and understood why he stayed drunk. And because of these mental issues, they can't maintain a home life, or keep a job and end up homeless or committing suicide. Ok, I'm stopping my rant now before I write a book.

Wow. That took a turn that I didn't see coming. It wrung me out and left me hopeful. I applaud you.

This was some chapter!!!! Words almost fail me. So much happened, I felt I was on a roller coaster. But the ending was totally unexpected. Amanda really loves Doug and literally asked him to trust her and it was so smooth, how could he resist? Amanda truly snapped out of her funk and got with the program. I was so proud of her. Can't wait to see what Mom is up to. More please?

Aditus, Timothy M reminded me to leave a review. I read this before I read his Angel and Imp conclusion and I LOVED it! Theliel and Sablo were hilarious and then WHAM they get shot with silver arrows by Theliel's boss. That scene keeps playing in my mind and makes me giggle. So since you let TM use your guys, how about the two of you teaming up and write a whole story using both couples and their organizations? I think that's and excellent idea, right?

Awwwww. I LOVED this. I read Cupid Central (I followed instructions) and now this! Angel and Imp are a couple sanctioned by the Powers that Be. hahaha So glad Michael has a guardian angel.....and a sexy one at that. Loved how you tied everyone to Peter and Patrick. Awesome short! and again YAY for A/I. Don't let this be the last we see of them, okay?

This story warms my heart more with each chapter! Patrick is such a good person and who did he call? I know it was about what happened to Sonia. And now he's meeting Peter's cousins. Wonderful. Now I going to click the link to find out who the bad ass leather clad angel is.

Well *squee* some more because I read one of your stories on Literotica, too! Then I came here and found you. I laughed so hard I almost choked when I read 'Papa Pussy Cat". This story is such a wonderful addition to the Homestead series and Dean is a HOOT!!!! I'm glad Alpha Jack wasn't offended and yeah, his son needs to spend some time getting up close and personal with Uncle Sam and a really nice drill Sargent. Do I need to worry that Kai will show up again or have his wings been clipped by the Wind Master? And you gotta give use more Goldie and Alice. Safe travels this week! And see you on the 25th.

When Faris showed up in the classroom, I knew he was the person Ger was connected to. I figured out he was the red horse when Ger saw the horse in the stall. Bravo on another brilliantly written story. And yes they should come to America. We've all that Big Sky Country and plains that they could run all over.

Gotta LOVE Dean!!! Kao has a strong and wise mate. And the logic he used for getting Alice's opinion on her Mom's future mate was spot on. Little kids see a lot and understand more than us grown ups give them credit for.

BRAVO! Your 1st foray into the shifter world was magnificent!! I love that Granddad played such a pivotal role from the very beginning and the boys didn't realize it. You wrapped the story up nicely but there's so much more that could be told. I'd like to read more about Morningstar pack and how everyone reacts to Kellar being their Alpha. And like another reviewer said what if his uncles managed to find their mates but couldn't come back? So I"m casting my vote for a part deux but I know that's up to you....plus you have another little tale that's been patiently waiting on your attention (hint hint) Again, BRAVO on taking us on a magical, mystery tour.
