    Lonely Amshel

Hmm, now, where did Lucien put his mating mark on Felix? I'll have to go back and check. But my guess would be on his naughty butt.
  2. Thanks, Albert. I'm sure Michael would have gotten the best of care even without having Patrick as his papa. And now I really must get the next chapter ready for Kitt to edit. You're almost caught up.

    Story

Sigh, it gets better with every re-reading. But I still chuckle at the potatoes in the stew, since the tuber didn't get to Europe until around 1500 AD and wasn't well received. There's even a SATW about it. https://satwcomic.com/can-t-touch-that
  4. LOL, I love how all my readers cheer Mr. A. on, but he did do a heroic job, so it's deserved. I guess the good neighbor outweighs the bad one. Another great comment.
  5. You have succeeded in your mission, Cia. The story now sits on the top of the Top Stories list, so it has gotten the attention it deserves.

    Chapter 4

They should have taken some photos as evidence and made a written and date stamped description. It's important to document bullying right from the start. (and no I didn't come up with this myself, I learned from reading @Graeme's Leopard series ) Great to see how proper parents, friends and love make all the difference for Adam.
  7. Ugh, I'm not sure about this theme. I tend to dislike regret stories. But perhaps I should try to get out of my comfort zone.
  8. The love scene was the easy and fun part, but the family stuffs was difficult. Perhaps you could say it was the hard bones and the sex was the meat. Thank you for all the likes and for leaving comments on every chapter.
  9. I'm very pleased you liked Tony and John's story, I had a lot of fun writing it. The dinner was an important step forward in this new friendship.
  10. I have no problem doing the 'willing suspension of disbelief' for paranormal stories, sci-fi or fantasy But the world has to have internal logic and consistency.

Oh yeah, Hazel won't let Winter go ever. LOL, I'm not surprised Felix' mate is all at the silly antics of the cousins. But who surprised Arn?

    Chapter 19

I'm immediately reminded of a few SATW comics. https://satwcomic.com/wonderful-nature https://satwcomic.com/great-nature Does Kohen have hair ? I guess he must have, since he didn't rub the cloth over his skull. I'm glad he decided to go down on the planet.
  13. Not to worry, I'd never dare have anything bad happen to Michael. But my slow writing has sort of prolonged his hospital stay quite a bit. Or left him in limbo, so to speak. But perhaps I'll be ready to post a chapter by the time you catch up. You keep distracting me with all these wonderful comments, though.
  14. Good morning and thanks, my friend I spent quite a while writing Patrick's family background in my story notes, and this was the first opportunity to use some of it. Grethe and Peter are very much taken aback, because they come from a close knit family, in spite of whatever disagreements or dislikes they have. But Peter and Patrick appreciate their new family and friends all the more, and some of the cousins will feature eventually.
  15. Hmm, not a bad idea. I'll add it to the story notes.

    Chapter 17

So true - I hate surprises, and Bart should have realized.
  17. Oh, right. Maybe it's because I didn't get around to comment much on the last few Kidnapping chapters that I had the feeling it was lacking attention. But at least we're making up for it with this story. I enjoy reading both the comments and your replies.
  18. Some of us are introverts, you know. We're all over what you extroverts do, while you shake your heads in puzzlement at our ostrich manners. I was pleased when I found out it's possible to use the same story discussion topic for more than one story. Before that I was reluctant to start up a topic since I'd be so embarrassed if no one posted in there. In the end AC Benus and Irri simply got fed up and started them for me. But with the new comment system, where we can have small in-story discussions after each chapter, I see even less need for separate topics, unless you have extra material to post, or there are ongoing discussions for popular stories. Previously, some authors would post the chapter, then announce it in a story discussion topic, and make a status update or two, all within a few hours or days. This to me is over the top self-promotion, unless you have a feeling the chapter notification failed. Eg if you edit after uploading but before the chapter posts, it won't get on the New story updates list. But I guess with all the notifications we get, it's easy to overlook new chapter announcements. In that case, posting a status update about it week or so later might make a lot of sense. Anyway, I think each author has to find the balance between promoting their work and annoying readers.
  19. aww, thanks, Albert It's always the big test for me. I can write porn easily (good or bad as the case may be), but love making, now that's a real challenge. But at least no need for a fire extinguisher
  20. I think the Kidnapping story wasn't getting much attention (feedback) from readers, and this discouraged them from continuing at the time.
  21. Thanks, Albert, I love it when you single out those sentences which are also my favorites. Glad you liked the hot teasing I had fun writing it.
  22. Love is in the air, yes indeed. At least for Peter and Patrick, but who knows what will happen between Grethe and Mr. Archibald. But just close friends will be nice too, since Grethe has left everyone behind in Denmark. You're also right about Patrick also opening up to possible friends after he met Peter. Thanks for all the likes and great comments.
  23. Uhm, Elias bonded Jany in public, in a club with several werewolves watching. How the Moon do they think they can keep Jany a secret ?
  24. Thank you, Albert, your points are those I consider important too, especially about Patrick finding someone to replace his mother. Grethe has a huge heart with plenty of room for the lonely cardmaker. And I think she may have a weak spot for the concept of love at first sight.
