They should have taken some photos as evidence and made a written and date stamped description. It's important to document bullying right from the start. (and no I didn't come up with this myself, I learned from reading @Graeme's Leopard series ) Great to see how proper parents, friends and love make all the difference for Adam.

Anthology Flashback: 2007 Annual - The Road Not Taken
Timothy M. commented on Myr's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Ugh, I'm not sure about this theme. I tend to dislike regret stories. But perhaps I should try to get out of my comfort zone. -
Chapter 16 After Dinner Sweets and Pillow Talk
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 16 After Dinner Sweets and Pillow Talk
The love scene was the easy and fun part, but the family stuffs was difficult. Perhaps you could say it was the hard bones and the sex was the meat. Thank you for all the likes and for leaving comments on every chapter. -
Chapter 15 Dinner with friends
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 15 Dinner with friends
I'm very pleased you liked Tony and John's story, I had a lot of fun writing it. The dinner was an important step forward in this new friendship. -
Oh yeah, Hazel won't let Winter go ever. LOL, I'm not surprised Felix' mate is all at the silly antics of the cousins. But who surprised Arn?

I'm immediately reminded of a few SATW comics. https://satwcomic.com/wonderful-nature https://satwcomic.com/great-nature Does Kohen have hair ? I guess he must have, since he didn't rub the cloth over his skull. I'm glad he decided to go down on the planet.

Chapter 14 Confronting past and present matters
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 14 Confronting past and present matters
Not to worry, I'd never dare have anything bad happen to Michael. But my slow writing has sort of prolonged his hospital stay quite a bit. Or left him in limbo, so to speak. But perhaps I'll be ready to post a chapter by the time you catch up. You keep distracting me with all these wonderful comments, though. -
Chapter 13 Good and bad family moments
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 13 Good and bad family moments
Good morning and thanks, my friend I spent quite a while writing Patrick's family background in my story notes, and this was the first opportunity to use some of it. Grethe and Peter are very much taken aback, because they come from a close knit family, in spite of whatever disagreements or dislikes they have. But Peter and Patrick appreciate their new family and friends all the more, and some of the cousins will feature eventually. -
Chapter 11 Visits and meetings

Hmm, not a bad idea. I'll add it to the story notes. -
So true - I hate surprises, and Bart should have realized.

Oh, right. Maybe it's because I didn't get around to comment much on the last few Kidnapping chapters that I had the feeling it was lacking attention. But at least we're making up for it with this story. I enjoy reading both the comments and your replies.

Some of us are introverts, you know. We're all over what you extroverts do, while you shake your heads in puzzlement at our ostrich manners. I was pleased when I found out it's possible to use the same story discussion topic for more than one story. Before that I was reluctant to start up a topic since I'd be so embarrassed if no one posted in there. In the end AC Benus and Irri simply got fed up and started them for me. But with the new comment system, where we can have small in-story discussions after each chapter, I see even less need for separate topics, unless you have extra material to post, or there are ongoing discussions for popular stories. Previously, some authors would post the chapter, then announce it in a story discussion topic, and make a status update or two, all within a few hours or days. This to me is over the top self-promotion, unless you have a feeling the chapter notification failed. Eg if you edit after uploading but before the chapter posts, it won't get on the New story updates list. But I guess with all the notifications we get, it's easy to overlook new chapter announcements. In that case, posting a status update about it week or so later might make a lot of sense. Anyway, I think each author has to find the balance between promoting their work and annoying readers.

Chapter 12 Romantic night
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 12 Romantic night
aww, thanks, Albert It's always the big test for me. I can write porn easily (good or bad as the case may be), but love making, now that's a real challenge. But at least no need for a fire extinguisher -
I think the Kidnapping story wasn't getting much attention (feedback) from readers, and this discouraged them from continuing at the time.

Chapter 10 Housekeeping and dinner plans
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 10 Housekeeping and dinner plans
Thanks, Albert, I love it when you single out those sentences which are also my favorites. Glad you liked the hot teasing I had fun writing it. -
Chapter 11 Visits and meetings
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 11 Visits and meetings
Love is in the air, yes indeed. At least for Peter and Patrick, but who knows what will happen between Grethe and Mr. Archibald. But just close friends will be nice too, since Grethe has left everyone behind in Denmark. You're also right about Patrick also opening up to possible friends after he met Peter. Thanks for all the likes and great comments. -
Uhm, Elias bonded Jany in public, in a club with several werewolves watching. How the Moon do they think they can keep Jany a secret ?

Chapter 9 Shopping trips
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 9 Shopping trips
Thank you, Albert, your points are those I consider important too, especially about Patrick finding someone to replace his mother. Grethe has a huge heart with plenty of room for the lonely cardmaker. And I think she may have a weak spot for the concept of love at first sight. -
Chapter 8 For richer, for poorer
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 8 For richer, for poorer
It's not my first story, but it was my first attempt at romance. The first two chapters were written long before chapter 3-12, and the latter have been expanded and revised quite a bit. In the mean time I practiced by writing my prompt story and Clueless Camping, and with the help of my editors and betas I developed a lot as an author. So I'm not surprised you can track an improvement as you read. LOL, you're probably right about needing something to cool off when they really get down to it. I certainly did after writing it. Glad you're still enjoying the A.I team butting in now and then. -
Chapter 7 After the Famine, a Feast
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Chapter 7 After the Famine, a Feast
Thnks, Albert, you don't know how happy I am to get praise for my dialogue which was such a weak part of my writing in the beginning. It's actually the reason why the first two chapters have very little conversation, and most of it was added when I revised the story for GA. I'm just as pleased you find the characters believable, even if I did indulge in a bit of stereotyping with John and Tony. -
Only promoted authors get their stories mentioned, but there's nothing wrong with a bit of self-promotion. especially a story already over 555,555 words.

Which is a shame, since the one from this week is about sex in stories. On the other hand, @VampireMystic has recently left the most hilarious comment on the old one, had me

holy moose farts @VampireMystic - that hit the spot. I feel the same, and serious self-promotion is not on my agenda. But I like the joking approach.
