  1. It's unbelievable how much Wil has changed behavior since falling in love with Zach. Unless he's having fun we're not reading about, he has only been with three people apart from Zach in all of Flux so far. Funny, because my impression was that Will tried to be with guys to feel better about Zach fucking girls. But apparently he's past that stage. Pedro (Will receiving, anal) Devon (Will receiving, anal, no information on oral or Will giving) Bar twink (rubbing against him with Will coming in his pants) Oh and we still haven't seen Zach give Will oral. That's it so far, I'll update at the end of Flux.
  2. Thanks AC, I guess we all like to look for those small pearls which evoke tender feelings. And you certainly helped with keeping the romance alive in this chapter.
  3. Hi Gary Thanks for leaving a review, and I'm glad you're enjoying the story. Russell certainly needs some tenderness and affection. Now he just has to become convinced he deserves love. I'm afraid it'll take several chapters. ;-)
  4. I'll stick to new dudes, it's simpler. However, I think I'll have to create a new category called "unspecified sex including anal". I've already encountered the first example where Will slept with a guy (Devon the bartender), and there were 'positions' involved, but we aren't told who gave and received. PS and what do I do about 'frotting' ?! Will had a small accident in the bar
  5. After Jacob had made me come, we dragged the mattress and the discarded sleeping bags back into the tent and cuddled some more. I had so many questions I wanted to ask, and I tried to express them. But I was also exhausted by the emotional and physical roller coaster I’d been on. Jacob tucked me under my unzipped bag and kissed me. His gentle caresses of my hair were more than I could resist. “Sleep now, Russell, we’ll talk in the morning. I promise to answer any questions you may have.” I

    Chapter 43

The CAP world as we know it ends: Will and Matt actually use their brains to control their emotions and act sensibly: Will the Volcano controls himself and doesn't erupt but has a rational conversation with Zach. Matt the Volcano recognizes he's going to erupt and goes away to do it in private or simmer down. He manages to talk to Wade and Brad and get them on his side. I'm so stunned I don't know what to say.
  7. Don't worry Sasha, I like Kier. Normally I'm not fond of clueless guys, but he's being stupid on such an epic scale it's actually fun. I bet Amor is peeing himself with laughter at having finally penetrated the leather armor of a guy with no idea about romance.

    Chapter 34

Well, well what do you know. Corey's Dad saying his son is more important than football ! I'm impressed. And I bet Clinton's parents will suddenly become boosters of the football team, LOL. I guess I'm surprised the reaction was this bad. They must know Corey isn't playing due to his arm, so what is the problem? And since he already has a boyfriend, their sons should be 'safe'. But I guess the real reason is what Bill said: throwing him off the team will send the signal it's not OK to be gay. This will keep their own sons in the closet if any of them happen to be gay too. And apparently they don't care if this hurts their children, knowing they won't be accepted and loved if they come out. What a bunch of idiots. Plus forging signatures can get them in a lot if trouble if the coach want to pursue this part. Now we have to wait and see how many of the football playes are real men. I'm sure Andy and Keith will make that point to them.
  9. Mark, do you want an update of this list at the end of Flux? And if so, do you only want new people on it? (ie not guys Will has already done)
  10. I'm guessing most of Zach's alarm comes from the unexpected meeting and his instant fear that Will will get angry without waiting for an explanation. Depending on Will's reaction Zach could be outed or embarrassed in a way he'd never forgive Will. I'm hoping Will is clever enough to just turn his back and walk away. This would force Zach to make the first move and he'd have nothing to hold against Will in return. But I fear Will being will rapidly turn into Will getting and then to him erupting which will cause us to go Oh and Alex is not intentionally just fucked up and selfish. It's almost symbolic how Wade got rid of the infatuation by his guts out.
  11. I'm hoping for Will and Wade, but that's just my personal bias. An interesting combination would be Zach as the main narrator plus a rotation of Brad, Wade and Matt depending on locality. Zach would be particularly interesting if Mark took us back a year or two to cover Zach's departure from Clairemont and him falling in love with Will. But I guess it would be too stressing to take us through 2001 again.
  12. I did too. But the really interesting question is whether Zach is doing this for tactical reasons. Maybe his parents will be really freaked out about this and therefore relent on the contact to Will. No matter how much Zach is swayed by other people's opinions, I can't really see him embrace the religious nutcases. But I can totally see him enjoy taking the piss on his parents about this: "But Dad I thought you wanted me to be a good straight jock and avoid any suspicions because I spend time with my gay cousin Will. Isn't this a brilliant way of ensuring there'll be no harmful gossip? Plus you wanted me to spend more time with my family and grandmother asked me to do this for her."

    Chapter 3

Glad to see Mr Nasty Dick Flanders out of the way. Kudos to Ty and Jim for handling this well. But I think they need to tell the club leaders of this incident. Well, at least Dave's problems are getting the attention needed and hopefully he'll soon receive help to deal with them. Neil is still creeping me out. That dude has some serious issues. Brrrr Great chapter - and yeah we want to see Jim as a centerfold too. Poor guy

    Chapter 42

Oh my a "religious" chapter Not sure what was the greatest surprise, the explanation of Alex's sex behavior and his ability to attract devotion or Zach being roped into this creepy stuff. But while the first part was mostly funny and made me happy since it somehow brought Wade and Matt closer, the last part was like a punch to the guts. What a cliff hanger while we wait for Will the Volcano to erupt or not.
  15. Yes I have exactly the same feeling. Granger is telling her he has plans of his own and he is not telling her what they are, because he doesn't trust her anymore. It will also be a test of her obedience: if she does as told, he's won, if she rebels and invests the money 'because I know better', he'll have to take even firmer measures.
  16. I was just waiting for you to say that, Irritable. I knew you'd freak out - and that Oli would too. Poor boy, he probably lost all respect for his dad just then. "My father is..." made me choke it was so hilarious and horrible. At least Oli and Buddy are cute together.

    Chapter 17

This was fun, both the battle and the subsequent snubbing of Lady Elgin. Hope he keeps finding ways to educate her in politeness. I have the feeling Lord Elgin doesn't mind at all. Maybe she'll listen to him eventually when he tries to explain proper manners. I'm glad to see Granger show trust in his fellow captains and give them their moment of glory. It will help him maintain a good reputation in the fleet and gain him support in the future if Digby and the others become influential. But the best is that while Granger may realize these advantages if he thinks it over, he still reacts this way instinctively because it's honorable and clever. Granger at his best (or almost ).
  18. I like all your stories - and I'm sorry about not leaving enough reviews to show it. But this one is amongst my favorites. Partly because it explains a lot about this world and partly because I love the friendship building between Ulee and Ian and also with the other boys they met. The part with Josephus was bittersweet but very good. I was sorry they only had a short time with him, but his teaching and sacrifice was important and meaningful. I like to think he died happy for having had the chance to teach once more and to help two good boys onto their destined path. Makes me break out in goosebumps. So thank you David for writing such amazing stories, I keep reading them over and over again.
  19. I'm glad they had a nice engagement party. It's no surprise the government has kept the restrictions secret. Who wants to admit humanity is being kept in check like an unruly child. Even if we probably deserve it. But maybe it's time to question those rules. I'm betting Abel will want to.
  20. Thanks. I'm going to update it with some minor changes just before I post chapter 2. Hopefully this will happen before the end of July.
  21. Just keep writing CAP, Mark. That should keep you young at heart and on your toes
  22. Well, Kier fucked that situation up royally - including calling Robin the club nick name Sparrow when sending him off. Talk about lack of respect. On the other hand Robin should be glad he's been shown what a selfish player Kier is before he falls for him. Kier probably doesn't even know what he really feels guilty about. Is it saying Robin's name to Matty (who should already be aware 'Tristan' is just a fuck) or is it having someone else on his dick when he wants Robin?

    Chapter 41

That was weird and totally unexpected. Not really in a good way either. I'm getting this Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde vibe. Uncanny and rather off-putting. Sick almost...
  24. In Norse Mythology the tree of life is an ash (Yggdrasil). In addition the first man (Ask) and the first woman (Embla) were created by the gods from an ash log and an elm log. So you can certainly consider ash symbolic in several ways. And yes Russell has quite a long way to go yet.
