I'd almost forgotten about this epic rant. Poor Thorn, I really laid into him back then. His story does have both a rape and abuse tag, and there is a sexual assault warning on the chapter. I did eventually return to the story and finished reading it. I'm glad I did, and if you can get through the next couple of chapters, you might find it gets better. -

hear, hear - and add to that the mental abuse of disrespecting the wishes of his ex-wife and showing it by moving his new family into the home of his ex-family and yelling at his oldest son when he objects to this behavior. But if you object to the term sperm donor, @Rndmrunner, I'm happy to call him the abusive, manipulative, egoistic bastard instead.

Um, what vitriol ? None of us are saying anything against Harley, and while it could be argued that Freddy should have refused to go on the outing, we're not putting much blame on him either. All my vitriol has been directed to the adults plus Gabe. And why is it a 'punishment' to tell Harley (and Freddy) they can go on another outing with Andrew, just not with Richie ? I have no objection to being gainsaid, but please don't accuse us of something we didn't do.

I agree with everything you said, but this in particular. And he should have told Andrew (gently) that he was looking forward to spending time with his brother, and bringing Harley along would prevent that. But I guess we can't blame Richie for having a soft heart and giving in to Andrew.

I'm not blaming Andrew (or even Harley) - and neither is Richie. But the rest of them, and especially the adults should know better. But of course, they want to force Richie to spend time with Freddy for their own selfish reasons.

So what ? Why does he and Harley butt in on the time Richie was going to spend with his brother ? Why doesn't their mother or the manipulative bastard tell them Richie wants to spend time with Andrew, and they can go to the amusement park together on another day? And Gabe is a useless, bigoted friend who just want to set up Richie with Freddy, so he can keep his distance from the gay boy. As I predicted, Richie is being worn down, but at least he's still living with his new parents. But I bet he'll end up back with his siblings and 'reconciled' with the sperm donor. Please warn me before it gets that far, so I can stop reading.

I'm so relieved Nico and Sho managed to rescue D and Ivan, and hopefully the Secretary is in agony. I don't care if Cieran dies, but it would be better if he lived long enough to be questioned. They should make the doctor reverse the blood letting, before they take them all away to hospital. So are the zombies Serai or humans ? Or something else? They don't seem happy to be rescued, but neither do they seem to be in charge.

LOL, one of my favorite SATW comics. I bet the Finn shows pretty much what Nikolaj Ehlers from the Winnipeg Jets is feeling - especially since his injury may prevent him from representing Denmark in May.
