I guess Gally finally got what he needed to keep him occupied and in a good mood.
  2. Wow, I didn't know that. I may have to check that out.
  3. Yep. It's popular because both our men's and women's international teams are really good. They've won several medals in European and World championships and Olympic games. I like to watch baseball, but it's not played here.
  4. You called Azrael him ! Do you know something I don't ?
  5. I'm guessing you noticed the 'gift' of free access to the garden the second time round. Yep, it's quite unusual and shows the trust Azrael has in Diego - and the attention being paid to his needs.
  6. Thanks - I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to leave a comment.
  7. LOL, yeah it's really funny how we sometime end up way off topic. It's one of the benefits of the new story system. Why wouldn't the Angel of Death be kind and compassionate? Azrael is not the one killing humans. But I guess the job title is a little scary. at your image of the Captain of the Celestial Guards. Now I'm unable to think of him in any other way. Ariel doesn't need any other commanders to be in a strop, it's just the way he is. I think... @aditus help me out here, please.
  8. Very good advice for Diego, especially the garden part. He's normally quite good at staying calm in stressful situations.
  9. Ariel doesn't expect them to be on-call 24/7 unless they're on a long-term mission (though they normally still get down-time when their charge sleeps). But he does expect them to have their phones on during the day, and he realized they were off the grid when his text wasn't delivered. Azrael needs some perks to make up for their duty, and the garden is probably the most important one. Diego is the first person (maybe ever, but definitely in a very long time) to be given free access to the place.
  10. He, he, I'm sure Diego will act on your advice at the earliest possible opportunity. He liked the reaction too. Working on the ceremony, but it's giving me trouble.
  11. He'll be back next Sunday.
  12. “What took you so long? Coach started grumbling five minutes ago,” Jasper said, as we walked up to where he stood with Carolyn. “Relax. He always gets a little worked up before a game. We’re here now, and ready to roll,” Rob replied. My best friend poked at the edge of his hair, which was already standing up in red spikes, like small flamettes. He nodded at Ryan, Eric and me, and took in the two tall guys standing behind us. “Hi, you must be Ryan’s cousin and boyfriend.” “Yes, I’
  13. I'm glad Aidan confessed to Heath about the V-card. Now Heath is the coward who is keeping things secret, ie his feelings for Aidan.
  14. I guess it's football (Soccer) both for participation and watching. Top ten (2018) for participation is: football, gymnastics, swimming, golf, handball, badminton, horse riding, tennis, sailing and athletics.
  15. That outcome even made the front page of the Danish News, and they don't usually care about horse races or jumping unless there are Danish participants.
  16. What determines the order in which editors and beta readers are listed in stories ? It's not the order in which you add them, nor is it alphabetical order. Is it by the seniority of the GA member (the date they joined) ? In my Anthology stories I usually have two editors listed, because I want to credit both my primary editor and the Anthology Team editor. However, they don't end up in the order I list them, and I'm wondering why. You can see an example in this story and also in my contribution for Snapped. Is there any way to set the story system so the listing order becomes the one we enter ?

    Chapter 21

Corbin can be head of a non-criminal family if he wants. As long as he doesn't betray the other Dons and their families, they won't care about him going into that kind of business. In fact it will be less competition. He can send anyone who's criminally inclined to Don Luca and get the ones who want to get out or retire. It was a very generous offer, and I think Don Luca also did it for the sake of his nephew. Corbin's actions saved Stephano's life and wiped his slate clean with the FBI. But it was probably easier to say it settled an old debt, and Corbin would be more likely to keep silent about the deal. It was a great story, and I'm glad the good guys got their HEA.

    Chapter 20

I had a suspicion about the equipment Timothy got from his car, and it turned out to be correct. A bullet proof vest was smart thinking, and having another agent kill Harris was even better. It makes fewer complications for the FBI. I don't get this part at all. Paul has just been told Harris is dead. Not likely to be a mistake, even if checked out by a non-medical person. Thus, he has absolutely no duty or reason to 'help' Harris, but should focus on the wounded who still has a chance of survival. Just as he's doing. I'm surprised Jenoah was able to slip away, but I guess Chad and Timothy were the only law enforcement people who knew he was there, if he left before the next lot of police entered the cabin. Chad went with Paul, and Timothy was in pain and not likely to care about who got taken into custody. Is Corbin really the Reina Don ? What about the people in jail ?

    Chapter 19

I had to read this chapter a couple of times to get my head around the twist. Harris is a little crazy with grief, because his reason for waiting with killing Corbin doesn't make much sense. He already killed the guy Corbin loved more than anything, so he could simply have told Corbin that and then shot him. Of course, he couldn't kill Corbin until the whole Reina family was either dead or in jail, but after Corbin's usefulness as a witness was over, Harris could have easily taken him out. I think the real reason was he wanted to kill Stefano too, because he knew too much, so Corbin was bait. He simply says the 'I want you to suffer' nonsense to be dramatic or to come across as crazy, so his opponents won't dare to act. Corbin is taking a huge risk, but at least it's the right side of his chest, so there's a chance of survival. And the alternative is Paul dying, just as he feared.
  20. I wonder what inspired you to find this picture.
  21. Good afternoon (in Denmark). We had a bit of snow this morning and it's less than 10 degrees C outside - which means it's colder than February. At least I'm inside and working on my stories.

    Chapter 22

I wonder if the griffins were dispatched because their travel was too slow and they needed to arrive at a set time? Or maybe the location can only be reached by flying for security reasons. Or Krol wanted to fulfill Ryan's wish of flying? Kieran has good reasons to be cautious, but they also need information and help.

    Chapter 26

Great chapter. Poor Ryan, he'll be even more overwhelmed and sad when he realizes he could have become Lex' dad when his mother died, if she hadn't been so stubborn about not telling him.

    Chapter 18

It seems the deck is stacked against Corbin. I feel sorry for Bruce who will be devastated when he finds out.
