  1. Thanks - we do our best. Aditus is the guarantee of drama, and I try to infuse a bit of common sense. Obviously I failed in a major way with Sablo.
  2. @ColumbusGuy Interesting how you think there is something fishy going on with Ayil. However, he would never admit making a mistake, particularly not about silver arrows. But as Theo pointed out, even Cupid arrows are no guarantee against relationships failing.
  3. He sure is, and it's all due to a combination of ignorance and arrogance.
  4. Yup, but things might not have gone wrong if Sablo hadn't meddled with matters he knows nothing about.
  5. I'm glad you enjoyed the tiny cliff hanger - perhaps because you could go straight to the next chapter. It's fun to do our own interpretations of old lore and concepts, and even better when our readers like the results. Thanks for the encouragement.
  6. I'm glad you liked the cloak concept, since this was my contribution. LOL, typical dinner - well, it may set the precedence for future visits if Diego keeps seeing Azrael.
  7. Can I be Team No-Stuart ?
  8. No, I meant I'm not as scared of my readers (even with pitchforks) as I am of my co-author's Cupid characters.
  9. But they're not my readers.

    Chapter 5

I think Richie is fully justified in staying in the anger phase of grief for a while yet. His reactions are logical and understandable, and if his goal is to live with his uncle and aunt he should keep on telling his father what a stupid useless fucker he is. Maybe the bastard will catch on at some point and realize the only way he'll ever get a relationship with Richie is to treat him like a stranger and an adult instead of a naughty child. I don't see any reason why Richie should try to 'behave' in the way Gabe and others are trying to suggest.
  11. “I thought you were against anyone testing my aura?” Diego paced around his office after Sablo’s unexpected revelation about his partner finding a match between the auras of Azrael and Diego. “He says he knew without testing. Apparently, your auras are ‘beautiful as butterflies’ when they’re mixing.” “Butterflies are a good description…of the feeling I’m getting here.” Diego waved vaguely in the direction of his stomach. “I wish you hadn’t said anything. I’m beginning to understand why A

    Chapter 76

I think Rilecca and the other Elite offspring definitely want to overthrow their parents. However, whether this will help the Captain, Kohen and their crew get free is impossible to say.
  14. I think there are hints of having written several stories over a long period of time, and that doesn't fit @Dodger - yet.
  15. I'm completely blank. It will be interesting to find out who this is.
  16. Thanks, Parker. I wanted to show how the people around Nelson and Eric are becoming one group of friends.
  17. Sasha Distan has written several western themed stories. Most of them are in The American Songbook series.
  18. The singles idea partly came from a CNN articles about six or eight girls who drove to the Prom together in a limousine. On the way they saw a guy from their year walking to the party on his own, because he was autistic and didn't have anyone to go with. So they invited him to ride in the limo with them and had pictures taken with him, which really made him happy. I don't know whether they had dates or companions for the prom evening, but I liked the idea of them arriving together in a group. You're right about Rob being Rob, now and forever. Thanks for the cheering.
  19. @ColumbusGuy I'm not a fan of the whole Prom concept, but if it's there it should at least be equal opportunity for everyone, including single people who don't want to bow under the pressure of having a partner. I'm glad you appreciate the presence of Jasper.
  20. You keep hoping, and I keep disappointing you. Sorry... But otherwise I hope you enjoyed the chapter.
  21. Thanks, AC. I love making you laugh.
  22. “Do you think we can do it again?” Jasper rotated a ball in his left hand and winced as Carolyn dug her fingers into a sore spot on his shoulder. She was standing behind him after offering her chair to Maria. The two girls were having their own chat, while Nelson and Tony listened to Eric and Jasper discussing baseball. “Our team will need to bring their best game. They almost had us last time.” Eric, who was sitting next to Jasper on the couch, pointed at the stats he’d printed from his lap

    Chapter 13

Well, at least Lex will be able to judge what manner of guy his father is better than anyone else would. But I wonder if he has half siblings. I'm not surprised about the marriage at all. Ian wouldn't want Lex to drive off on his bike, because he thought it wasn't serious between them. Ian is clever enough to realize he has to open his heart first.
  24. i agree about Robbie telling Nicola as a defense against his suicidal depression. I think he's scared of what he might do and at the same time he can't fight the attraction of oblivion. Nicola will be his life-line and for once she can be applauded for doing what she is best at: sticking her nose in other people's business and telling them what to do.
  25. You may regret finding out.
