I do appreciate your clever poking, DQ, but teasing will never be a favorite of mine. I'm still trying to decide between several great comments. Do I choose one by @Thirdly who always make me laugh? The ones with praise for my story which makes me with gratitude and pride ? Or something by @Lisawho always leaves great comments ? Or something else ? It will take me a while to find out, but I think this topic is interesting.

My profound gratitude to the reader and you for giving us the chance to spend more time with Corby and Declan. They're wonderful together, and i enjoyed the visit to Springs too. I'm even getting to love Corby's mum, though she's such a tease. I'm delighted she decided to get Bell when he was sick, those two brothers need to be close. Taking Bell to meet all the gay guys in Springs will be epic, he'll fit right in, and maybe find someone who'll appreciate him. Thanks again for the treat.

I like Amy, she's both fun and sensible. I hope she decides to date Zack, who deserves a reward for helping Brandon. I guess I'm sold on the idea of Jerry and Brandon as a couple, since Brandon did so well in this chapter. Kissing in front of the house was epic. As for the spray paint on the car, they should think of girls who might have a crush on Brandon or been jilted by him. But it could be that there's simply more shock value in graffiti on Brandon's car, since Jerry is old news.

I think you may be right, but I'm still more concerned about poor Jeff than about Jack. It would serve him right if Tracy is openly gay and ignores the coward in the closet and dates the only out guy in the school. But I guess it's more convenient to see the guy across the street.

Well, we already know Jason is a bastard and Jack is a coward, but I'm not sure about Jim. I hope Tracy starts dating Jeff if he's gay, or at least becomes his friend if he's straight, but perhaps he's no better than the rest of them.

Ah, that makes sense, then. Although it took a while after Jim came out, before Deon was comfortable with him being gay. It was always one of my favorite aspects of the second Leopard story how Deon got reconciled with his father. in fact, I think I'll go read it again, while we're waiting. I'm still wondering how Deon ever saw enough footage from the Mardi Gras parade to notice guys dancing in Speedos. He was virulently antigay two years ago, and I can't imagine his mom would watch it, nor Jim - either before or after being in the closet. It would have been more logical for Deon to have shaken his head, and Dexter's reply could still be almost the same. Another thing I noticed when reading the chapter again, was that Ben though his father might assault him in a situation which had nothing to do with being gay or pro-church. All Ben was doing was giving his mother an option to stay behind. This means his father is a controlling person, somewhat similar to Ty's father, but at least Ben's mother was able to tell him off earlier, so she not completely down-trodden. However, it's suddenly much more likely his father will blow a fuse, when he finds out Ben is gay, since he's irrational and aggressive in general. Quite an unpleasant surprise

I hope Kevin remembers to call Alistair. He really needs to be kept up to date on developments, including the support from their friends. Maybe they could invite him for dinner, so he can meet everyone ?

I'm so glad Eric continues to give the nosy neighbor a cold shoulder, as much as he can. She's a nuisance and a malicious gossip. I bet she was leading up to hinting at Eric being gay. Horrible woman. Those ice creams sound disgusting. give me vanilla with walnuts or chocolate chunks any time. But inviting Eric for dinner with Claire is a great idea.

My guess would be that his mother became pregnant with Nathan from an affair with a married man, and she decided to marry Shaun's father. But he finally learned the truth and left her, perhaps not believing Shaun was his. People generally condemn suicide, but I can understand why Shaun doesn't want to live. He is in a prison of pain and despair, and he doesn't owe his family anything. In fact, killing himself is the perfect answer to their disregard.

Robbie may be morbid, but at least he's practical with it. And I'm sure the cab drivers will love him if he pays them to visit Connor or pick him up. I hope he won't hurt the first genuinely nice guy he has dated.

The pain of separation from David turned out to be worse than the bodily pain he wanted to escape. Their mutual love transcended death but only because he knew it was worth fighting for. I think the reward was because he fought for the sake of David and not from a selfish wish to live.

Maybe being at work can distract him from the pain and the guilt. Spooky gulls
