  1. Hi everyone. My two bits on name changes? Don't. Readers know and love you as mikiesboy. Changing now would send readers into a tailspin. My two bits on a tim avatar? DO! And on the weather? The forecasters are using bad language for tomorrow here. 4 letter word starting in s. If I am lucky therapy will cancel and I can hide under my quilt till it melts.
  2. Long day of basically doing nothing. Sat around the equine clinic most of the day. Horse is home, probably just needs chiropractic adjustments. He was a sweetheart. Loaded and unloaded like a perfect gentleman. So why am I so tired???

    Chapter 14.2

    Portant huh? NOW what?
  4. Hey everyone.
  5. Cognac 69 comes to mind immediately. As I think of others I will PM you.
  6. Hi everyone. In a holding pattern @ the eq clinic. Seems like the horse will need a chiropractor.
  7. Please don't insult me like that Nick. I am not sane! After all, I started this insanity when I opened the original forum, and continued it with CoTT 2.
  8. I was not picking on a Floridian. I was picking on a Jersey transplant.
  9. What I have found helps is to put a laundry basket aside for packable. As clothes come back anything coming with goes into it.
  10. Well see? You have started!
  11. Lol my transplanted brother came north for a visit two years or so ago, mid October. I was still in tee's and he ran out to buy a winter coat!
  12. Doesn't come as more of a game than the way my paternal grandmother did it. She wintered in Florida with my aunt every year, and mom and I were tasked with helping pack every October to leave on the 1st of November. Gram would rummage through dressers and closets, tossing clothes over her shoulders hollering "suitcase" "ship" or "dispose of". Our job was to catch, fold and put in the appropriate place before the next piece came flying.
  13. Haven't tried the chocolate bacon, but have had candied bacon. Dripped into powdered sugar hot from the fryer. Wasn't bad, but can't say I would go out of my way to get it.
  14. You call 78* a cold front??? (thats around 28* rough guess for you Canadians) Makes two of us. Got my foot stuck in a particularly soft mudhole in a field yesterday. When I tried to pull out I lost my balance and hit face first in the mud. Least it was a soft landing, though I will not tell you what was mixed in with the mud. Lets just say I spent my lunch break driving home for a shower!
  15. Not unless you have enough guest rooms.
  16. The parrot is giving the weather report around here again. "Partly cloudy chance of (snow) showers, rooock"
  17. And they look like they are flying in circles in my front yard!
  18. I think they are all on the lee side of my house! Patio is below road level and between the two houses, protected from the wind, and has to be ankle deep in leaves this am!
  19. Hon, around here Halloween stuff disappeared and Christmas appeared in the stores the Monday BEFORE Halloween!
  20. None of the emogies fit.
  21. No, they are WARM! Warm and snuggly and comfy, and easy to open to cool off if you get too warm! Afternoon all!

    A Lethargy

YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I wish my husband had as good a grasp on things as Mike does. His answer to my lows is "get over it". He doesn't understand it is not that easy.
  23. @bignick pick up extra flour and sugar, apples, and any sort of other fruits strike your fancy and I will bake cobblers this weekend. Ice cream too!
  24. Calm yourself dugh. As you know I only got cloaked this year. You are the only one who will kilt me. Oh, and I have worn that cloak every cool evening since I bought it!
