The dad's are not paying for the house, they are holding the mortgage. Big difference. The boys will be making monthly payments for the term of the loan, just like the rest of us.

My house was only 100 yrs old when we began renovations, but we found all sorts of interesting things. Like an old four outlet in line plug with cloth insulation that was still live burried in a wall behind a cabinet.

All caught up! I love the story flow, the growth between Adam and Rob. The move from sheer terror at meeting each other to the bond of family rings true. Just as a dad falls in love at first sight with a newborn, these two bonded at first sight as well, just 16 years late. Gramps annoys me. That's good. Every story needs a character to hate. Tibor makes me nervous. Seems like he is not as recovered as he wants Adam to think. He has already complicated the move to Florida for Rob without any conscious thought. Frightens me as to what could happen if Gramps hooks up with him. -
Now the shoe is on the other foot, and it's damned uncomfortable there. I think Drake has his work cut out for him.

I have to contradict you on one point, you are not alone. You have friends here who will listen, commiserate, and generally try their best to help. You probably have more who will stand by you in person. My pm is always open should you need to vent, or just escape into a non medical related conversation. Hang in there!
