    I try hard not to change the tone or direction of a story, just correct errors. All the authors I work with know my suggestions are just that. That being said, if they insist on using hear where here belongs I go bananas.

    Well I feel better about not having removed that apostrophe in the first place! It was only when I was looking back for the mentioned mistakes that I thought I should have removed it.

    I've an extensive list I check in every chapter, but my pet peeves are capital/capitol, principal/principle and cereal/serial. The one that really gives me a fit of pique however is morning/mourning!

    I know I seldom review, but this is a special occasion. Your writing improves with every chapter. While your stories have always been well crafted and well told, there were little things that drew away (just a little) from the enjoyment, like over use of speech tags and nicknames. You are now writing in a more natural flow and it is improving the overall enjoyment greatly! Good Job bro- I am looking forward to the next chapter!

    LOL if you ever saw the notes Sasha and I ended up with for one of his stories, you would swear it was either a grapevine or an attempt at doing a family tree for Mark Arbors CAP series!

    LOL Those two homonym sets are on my list of check in every single chapter!

    Some authors can sit and write a story start to finish without an outline, but having one can help keep things on track when the characters start trying to push things in new directions. Many times I have worked with Sasha on a story, and then we went back while talking over skype and created a timeline for the existing chapters so we could steer the story where he wanted it in spite of the tangent the main character tried to run off on. It was nothing as formal as Carlos lays out, but it was enough to keep the characters all headed towards the climax of the story. I am not an author, and probably never will write anything beyond my little prompt responses, but I have learned that sometimes keeping characters in line is like herding cats!

    Wait till you read Patrick and Peter's story. You may change your mind on favorites! (Yes, I am commenting on advanced knowledge!) You have already gotten the closed doors into the story. All you need to add is the open hearts!
