I can't say it in another language but my wishes are just as heartfelt! Have a fantastic day!

Try good old bar style Ivory soap on the jeans. Rub it in till it works right into the fabric - let it set for a while and then wash - but don't dry em! If the stain isn't quite gone try again while they are still wet. Might even work on the deck but I have never tried it on wood!

Most of that isn't quirky - it's being a gentleman!

I don't in any way consider myself a writer of any sort, but occasionally one of Wayne's prompts take root in my head and insist I write the story down. I have long since realized it is much faster and easier to write than to ignore the words circling in my head!

Since when do the CAP characters need an excuse like a skating competition to go back to Paris? They own an apartment/condo/what ever the French call em in the nicest part of the city! You want a Paris shopping orgy? An offhand comment to Stef can spark that!

Intriguing to watch JJ's libido suddenly come awake. I find myself hoping that Alex doesn't take advantage of JJ's lack of experience and then eventually dump him in favor of a Madonna who can actually be a mother to his heirs. I do believe this is the first time we have seen a CAP family member be the subject of a nice slow seduction. Holding hands in a theater and not taking it further is quite different from most of the families courtship habits. Well Done Sir! As usual, I stayed up much later than I should have in order to read your latest chapter.

I apologize for not reviewing more often of late, but I am running out of ways to say just how much I enjoy your writing, so I save em for the really special chapters. And this was one of those! Up until now we saw a couple guys who were very into each other saying what they thought the other wanted to hear. Now we have two young men really looking at what they are feeling and discussing it with each other. That is a huge step for both of them and gives me hope they will survive the NFL closet. Thank you for yet another well written and thought provoking chapter Mark. Friday mornings are always a little brighter thanks to you.

And Chad thought HE had issues! Guess Peterson has some work to do too.

Is it just me or did Hollywood take the summer off?

It's that vicious circle thing - we don't go because the movies are not that good, so they put less money and effort in, so the movies go from mediocre to bad, so we go less... -
At the high school level presently the coaches tend to lean toward caution in the healing of injuries but it was not always that way. We could also see an instance where a coach is pushing returning to activity before the injury is fully healed. I remember the term "Play past the pain" quite vividly. It was the worst advice my coach ever gave me.

Prompt 353 - The Anniversary
Kitt commented on Mann Ramblings's story chapter in Prompt 353 - The Anniversary
A very moving and realistic portrayal of a goodbye of this type. You captured both the need to move forward and the lack of ability of some to do so beautifully. -
Does your chapter end note mean no settlement and you are off to support the others? Dang real life getting in the way! LOL we shall all be patient **fingers crossed** Somehow I am thinking Justin is going to end up being a favorite character. I am looking forward to seeing more from him. That he could write off a thoughtless and unacceptable reference to his father being gay shows his maturity. The teacher in question should have been suspended too! It is nice to see something going right in Chads life. Seems like not much of that has been happening prior to his arrival in the burbs of the twin cities.

You may well be right about a career ending injury being a saving grace for Will and Zach. It would affect so much more than Zach's ability to come out of the closet. He has the trust fund Robbie left him so a scholarship is no longer "needed", and frequently football players are spoon fed the lightest course load available to maintain their player eligibility, the end result being a less than adequate education for any career outside of football. We have already seen one example where his "advisers" (his parents and that Barry person) have taken a practice clinic as more important than an internship with a noted historian in Europe.

Michael Sam's acceptance of the Arthur Ashe award at the 2014 Espy

Didn't I hear the Cowboys were looking to pick him up? -
Why do we need to view Will at one extreme or the other? My father passed on to the next existence at the age of 77, and till the day he died he was the proverbial teenager. Please don't misunderstand - he was a great father and a good provider, but his outlook on life was "Growing old may be manditory, growing up is optional."

Why can't you like a post twice or three times!!!!! Go get him James!

The pants on the ground look is dying thank god! I think due in large part to that robbery attempt in which the perpetrators pants fell as he ran out of the store, and the plus size clerk sat on him till the police arrived. -
Ok - when one says a serious cheat and a series counts as one book, would that mean David Eddings' Belgariad and Malorean series are one set or two? Each is a five book set all involving the life and times of the same set of characters. And would the support books he later published be included in the "set"? That would make the difference between 5 actual physical books and 12 listed as Eddings. Assuming all books involving the same characters are "one": Belgariad/Mallorian David Eddings Wheel of Time series Robert Jordan The Dragons of Pern series Ann McCafferty The Dirk Pitt series Clive Cussler The Sword of Truth series Terry Goodkind Edit to include: Does anyone else note a thread of escapism in the book lists?

Alex's Betrayal - Prompt 348
Kitt commented on comicfan's story chapter in Alex's Betrayal - Prompt 348
I think a lot of people have been in similar situations, on both sides of this particular fence. Sometimes a parent HAS to over react a bit to get a point across, and then back off a little after things calm down. Thank you for a realistic portrayal of a difficult situation. Alex being gay was not really the point of the story. His disregard of the rules, and his lack of trust in his father were. Every parent has had to deal with this on some level, and I think you wrote it very realistically. I also have no doubt that once dad calms down they will talk again and things will improve. If Alex and Bart are smart boys they will embark on a campagne to do things like clean up Alex's room and make themselves pests with the thoughtful "I'm here and will be home at..." phone calls! -
Unfortunately we all have lived one part or another of this one. Thank you.

Mint sauce...anything like mint jelly?

Fair winds and following seas make for boring fiction! I am glad you enjoyed!

That was one of the weird parts. Not only did he keep it clean - we have no clue WHY he did. Thanks for reading and taking the time to review!

And while Tiff may prop him up and support him emotionally as well as in capacity as his coach, it just ain't the same as having a parent stand behind you!
