Not so sure I am ready to trust this Barry person, confidentiality clause or no. Just the fact that he ganged up on Zach with Wally in the first place, then said he works for Wally, the guy who signs the checks, then reverses himself and says he is on Zach's side sounds to me like the only side Barry is on is Barry's, and will do what ever he needs to in order to protect that paycheck. It's good to see Will letting go of some of that hatred. He and Tony may never be close again, but at least the hatred will not eat him away. As always, this was a great chapter Mark. Thank you.

A little late than never I suppose. I am one of those "functionally illiterate" people when it comes to computers. Adjusting to new operating systems takes me a while but I usually get the hang of things. If I had my druthers - I would have preferred to stay with 7 when I needed to replace my laptop. I got around most of my issues by setting up an "old fashioned" desktop the way I was accustomed to doing things. The swipe screen does me no good really since this lappy does not have a touch screen. I have to admit, although I never encountered the "farting gremlin" some apps do tend to pop onto my screen with no warning or explanation. I can be happily editing a story and suddenly be staring at what ever picture was the last to be downloaded from my camera. The charms bar appears for no good reason that I can understand, and the phrase "What are you doing, you stupid computer?" can frequently be heard coming from my work area. I also upgraded to 8.1 when it was offered as a techie friend said it would help fix some of the issues I was having. It did seem to make things a bit easier to use - although I can't tell you how or why, just that I seem to yell at the screen less now than before the upgrade.

All very interesting comments, but none addressed the question asked in the thread title. Does buying gay art make ppl think you're gay? I suppose that would depend on how you define "gay art". Is it the artist that is gay - or the subject matter? I don't see as the artists sexual orientation has any bearing on me or how others see me.Perhaps a print of two well defined gentlemen would suggest something, but if a piece speaks to me and I can afford it I shall buy it. I read m/m erotic fiction - that doesn't seem to color the opinions of anyone I have spoken to about it. Worrying overly about the opinions of others is how prejudices get started in the first place.

And while I agree that Will is a very black or white person, and that may not be the healthiest place to be, It has been my experience that most kids his age are. As we get older we start to discern all the shades in between.

Everything you say is quite true B1ue. I didn't, however, say that Marie or Matt hurt will in the same way that Tony did, just that they hurt him just as much. And while Zach has no reason to want Tony back in Will's life, he is an intelligent young man, who apparently cares a great deal for Will, and it is not a great leap for Zach to see that harboring such hatred can't be good for Will.

The big point that makes me think Will would not have listened to Marie,John or Matt is that at various times each of them had hurt Will just as badly as Tony had. Zach is very much on the inside right now, and while Matt is working his way back into Will's good graces, I don't think he has that sort of influence yet.

I think Zach is probably the only one could have said it and made any sort of impact on Will. If any of the adults in his life had tried to say that to Will i think it would have been met with a very teenage "WHATEVER" and been totally disregarded.

Nice to see Matt facing up to the way things really are. It must have been a wicked feeling to suddenly realize he was an outsider in Boston, but if it sets his feet on the proper path it was worth it. I have to agree with KevinD, Barry may be in for a rather rude surprise. I think he is looking at this as Wally is in charge and hired him, and Wally is ultimately the one he needs to make happy. He may be in for a rather rude surprise in the morning. And as Will said - he can be replaced. ColumbusGuy said " Brad's has the analytical sense but no feel for people's best interests" I think that is very true, including his own best interests. Maybe that is why Will has gotten so protective of his dad since 911, even when Brad has royally pissed him off. As for StoriReaders idea that the drama is over? We know know that Wally was at least on board with separating the boys "for the good of Zach's career" if not the instigator. I absolutely love the way JP shut Wally and his rude behavior down before dinner. It's nice to see that Will is thinking at least some things through and it is not all knee jerk reactions. The contents of my cross cut shredder get mixed with melted parafin to make my fire starters for camping so I think I am pretty well protected there. If someone manages to reassemble an account number from all that they deserve to make a little profit! As for the password vault thing - some of us are just not that swift with computers. I refer to myself as functionally illiterate when it comes to computer operation. My passwords are individualized - and kept on an index card in with my important papers in the fire safe in case i cant remember which goes with which account or get the characters mixed up.

Ummm - silly question. If you go to a website, they now have your IP address. Now you type in your password to "see how secure it is". Do they now not have everything they need to hack into your computer with no effort what so ever?

Is it actually incest or is it just being called that for lack of a better term? Matt has no blood relation to Brad, and Wade is also not blood related to any of them. I personally can understand the feelings of betrayal that are floating around but I am not really sure you can call the relationship incest.
