  1. Some of the stuff I have read in the past seems like it started at Phase 4 and skipped phases 2 and 3 completely!
  2. I think I owned about half of the monthly top ten album list for that entire year, but the album getting the most play time during the month I turned 21 (Legal was 18 back then) was Endless Love by Dianna Ross & Lionel Richie. It was #2 on the charts for that month.
  3. LOL I promise if he doesn't respond here I will give him a poke next time he sticks his ears up on skype!
  4. Well done!
  5. Remember what Mr Miagi said about being on your knees - you then have at eye level a "prime target".
  6. Denning. Wolves don't nest - they make dens.
  7. BMOC = Big Man on Campus It's an unofficial title given to popular jocks.
  8. Jazz is what the one guy I know named Jasper goes by, and he much prefers it to Jas. Now - as for Rob... He is one of the BMOC with his involvement in sports. He could easily have a date with a different gal (or guy if you decide to go that route) every day of the week between now and the end of the year. Being actively baseball season it has to be spring, if he is a senior graduation is not far off, followed by college, so not wanting to commit to an LTR would be a very normal thing at this stage.
  9. Lol i regularly get the little squiggle saying it's is incorrect, but if I change to its I get the same result. I know and use Drew's test, but thought perhaps Cia could shed some light on why it's the only exception to the posessive rule.
  10. It's vs its also! Some days the computer correction program can't even make up it's mind!
  11. One can secure someone in a barbers chair? I know it has been a long ass time since I would sit with a book as dad got his haircut at the local barber shop, but I really do NOT remember seat belts or any other restraints on a barbers chair!
  12. I think this guy would work with pretty much any hair length down to the fringes reaching his collar. Sorry guys - pony tail length on a guy doesn't work for me! I can see this one with hair just barely light enough to be blonde working too. Wouldn't work for a really pale shade but the darker shades just bordering on brunette? Would work!
  13. I find it interesting that you both think I was being uncomplimentary in my comments. I had done nothing but praise the author for sixty some chapters, but that particular chapter took a major plot turn out of the blue and I asked about it. I thought I had been polite but somewhat confused. He apparently did not agree with me however. Oh well. It was the last review I left for the man. I have continued to read what little he has posted since, and to like the chapters, but since my opinion was not wanted unless it was singing his praise, he can do with one less voice in the choir. My point in my first post was to be careful how you word things, that people can take offense at the littlest thing. Some authors want nothing to do with any sort of criticism, constructive or otherwise.
  14. LOL I'll include em with my next pm. No point in giving possible spoilers!
  15. It's your story Caz, but you have put lots of ideas in my head about dealing with the alpha.
  16. I am quite sure the first one is not Sasha's story "The Wall and the Goat". The protagonists never actually lived together, they spoke thru a brick removed from a common wall between their bedrooms in a duplex. Edit to add: Could you be thinking of Nemesis by Thorn Wilde? A story of a young gay man who falls in love with his best enemy?
  17. I would imagine that new word to be "disclude", since it does not appear in my dictionary.
  18. Not all authors want to hear the "WTF". When a favorite author posted a chapter with a completely unexpected super hard left turn, I said "WTF" in my review, not in those words but you get the drift. The response I got was to be raked over the coals in the public response saying how awful my comment was and that he worked very hard on the chapter and who the fuck was I to criticize him? I'm just saying to be careful how you word your "WTF". I thought I had done ok, but apparently not.
  19. What she said. It's about time someone slapped Jackson upside the head and I love that Vash was the one to do it. Hmmmm, how to punish the shifter alpha? Well the collar is a good start. Vash had never shifted so did not really know what he was missing. The alpha will. Do shifters in your universe have to shift @ the full moon? That might be quite painful for an older shifter used to changing at will. What of bonded mates? Not good to take actions thatmight harm an innocent.
  20. With a goodly portion of the family still in Claremont, and Gathan having shown an interest in the towns political structure in past stories, I can easily see a goodly portion of the next story taking place there. Midwest towns have huge patriotic tendencies, and I am sure enrollment in the military will go up there, as well as the new Triton plant possibly needing to increase the manpower. Will be interesting to watch how JP deals with his dream of revitalizing his hometown comes about financed in part by war, something JP is so steadfastly against.
  21. where do these people keep getting these great pics???? Happy Birthday Cole! Have a wonderful love filled day!
  22. Speaking from personal experience there certainly was much more cursing and even a few death threats.
  23. LOL Length of the hair isn't much of a factor for me. Keeping it clean is! What is with the latest trend for guys to wear their hair shoulder length or longer and apparently oiled? At least I hope it is oiled and not that greasy looking due to lack of hygiene!
  24. You only THINK you are glad Gary? I KNOW I am, and that Wings is no longer a teen as well! That the boy part of Hel fainted doesn't worry me, he does that every time his spirit wolf comes out. That the wolf fainted as well is the new twist!
