    LOL I figure I am good for it. You are only about 18 months older than me and editing/beta reading is way easier than writing!

    LOL My gram used to say the zeros were the "hills" - you know - the ones you go over! I always thought the fives should be the hills - and you slide down the back to the next decade! The first three of being "40 something", "50 something" etc are the hardest - adjusting to the new decade.

    What he said - and that means at least 3 or 4 stories past Autumn! there are still two seasons left to his first year in DC - then there is college, and finding the right spouse to live HEA with! Edit to add: Doesn't your brother live near me? Somewhere in Jersey?

    Or a little of each! In some of the other forums we use when we run out of likes, and it has the advantage of being able to give several to an entry you particularly like - not just the one allowed in the like system! I am sure Carlos will accept all the 's you would like to give him! Be careful about that people - there are copy right laws involved. Several of my favorite authors have passed away before finishing off series I have read and the estate had to approve having some other writer finish off the story working from the authors notes. I know we are not as formal online as in the paper publishing sector, but I am pretty sure the same rules apply.

    A lot of Americans don't even realize Aussies and New Zealanders were even involved in the world wars. I don't remember a single mention of them from history class, though admittedly it has been a very long time since the last time I sat in a history classroom. Their support in the middle east is much better known.

    People laugh at me when I program my home phone number into all of our families cell phones because we ever answer the home phone. I do it because I have often found phones and looked through the directory for a clue who to return it to. Sometimes I call one of the ICE numbers but I love it when there is a "home" number! I call and when it is answered, either by a human or the voice mail, say "This is your wayward cell phoning home." If it's the voice mail I then leave my name and number after.

    Someday no one will care if someone is gay or straight. Till then I will continue to be supportive of all my friends, both gay and straight and their right to be who they are. If that makes me an LGBT(+what ever other initials apply) supporter, I will wear the title proudly!

    Hate to tell you this Carlos (Ok - not really) but "Master of understatement" is the next step past "Bloody Author"! On behalf of editors everywhere - DON'T GO BLAMING THAT ON US! We correct mistakes - fix grammar - sometimes even make suggestions - but the content of the story is YOU mister!
