Drove up to see my Aunt this morning before she passes. Mom and I went over once I got into town. There was enough of an awareness that when mom said we were there, her breathing rate changed. Almost like she was struggling to the surface. I told her to relax -- that she didn't need to respond to us, and sat holding her hand. Told her I loved her. Weren't there too long, but by the time we left her breathing had settled back into a calm and regular (if shallow) pace. Her blood pressure (top number) was in the 50's when I left to come home. They expect she'll go this weekend. My youngest Aunt is, again, holding everything together for everyone else. Just once I'd like for her to be able to be the one to fall apart -- let someone else "hold it together" to help everyone else cope.

"Forged in Fire" had to start putting a warning at the start of each show, reminding people that playing with GLOWING WHITE-HOT CHUNKS OF METAL can be dangerous. This was after someone in California (I think) burned down his house and an apt. bldg. trying to emulate what he saw on the show.

Someone was wanting to build a housing addition in OKC that was going to be tiny homes -- not for the homeless either, just a "normal" housing addition. Got a lot of pushback from people afraid it would look "like a trailer park" or "decrease their property values" blah blah blah. Not sure how it turned out. I'll have to look it up. I know the developer was taking a lot of effort to show how they were going to be built and look just like any other home - just smaller.

Bedtime for me as well. Was 71 F for the high today -- will be 55F for the high tomorrow; BUT only a light chance of rain tomorrow (no storms) and rain on Saturday (w. nothing severe). Going to have to drive up to see the parents and my Aunt on Friday then drive back the same day; and then sneak into the office on Saturday to catch up. Which could be difficult as this is graduation weekend. Ug.

I wouldn't consider Jet or his dad one of those. They are.... quite definitely NOT nice beings.

Thinking he might be easier to control if he had one.... Hm....

You know that's why you love us. 😁

Pain Rx, nap, cooked lunch, and going in to work for a short time -- and they'll probably ask me why I'm there and tell me I shouldn't have come in but there are deadlines for a few things that have to get done. 😞 At least my my pain level is down to about a 3 (almost my baseline), instead of the upper 5 / lower 6 it was when I woke up this morning.

Evan..... wow. Interesting character -- but at least Wolfgang knows it's possible for someone to be possessed against their will. Sa'la, Tempter: those could be interesting to find more about (or terrifying)

Hook, Line, And Sinker

“It is easy to love your friend, but sometimes the hardest lesson to learn is to love your enemy.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War Off topic, but if you want to listen to one of the oddest reciting of quoted from Sun Tzu, listen to The Art of Conflict by VNV Nation. -
Up early, but joints are not happy. We missed the tornadoes and the golf-ball sized hail missed this side of town. Will have rain all day today but should be nothing else. Just under a flood watch at the moment. Not heard how much rain we got overnight. High tomorrow will be about 20 degrees F cooler Hope all of you have great days.

Logging off myself, so I can relax on the couch -- been sitting to long and the hip is complaining. We're just outside the Tornado Watch area, but could still be a long night.

It's May in Oklahoma - "apocalyptic weather" defines this month. 😉 Just knowing it's finished and correct [3rd times the charm?] is helping me relax some.

Well the good news is the storms tonight make severe weather during the day tomorrow slightly less likely.

My Boy's headstone is - finally - ready; HOWEVER -- they are going to have to wait "until the ground is a bit drier" before they can install it. I just want him to have it before his birthday on the 27th. At least they didn't screw it up a third time. It does help some to know that it's ready. Extremely annoyed at my best friend who, not intending to be a bitch she says, used the word "antzy" to describe my feelings on it's continuing delay. More storms moving in overnight into tomorrow. High winds, moderate risk of night-time quick spin-up tornadoes (those that pop up and dissipate quickly), and half-dollar sized hail.

That's where my Boy worked - was good at it too, if I can brag on him a bit. But I have to agree with molly - not my place to linger; too many fragrances and people.

Finally realized that I'm going to have to finish painting the loft the same way I started: playing songs of love and loss, grieving for my boy, and loosing myself in the painting. It's the only way the loft can get done and -- more importantly -- I think it's one of the things that has to be closed for me to let him go. Though I should have left Rebecca Ferguson's version of "I'll Count the Days" off the playlist. 😭 The other is for his headstone to finally be installed. Sent an email to the friend I'd been talking to. A couple of weeks ago she said it would a week or two before the 3rd one [since they F*d the first two] would be ready; then FOUR to SIX WEEKS before it got installed. I'm still hoping it's there in time for his birthday on Memorial Day. Finished the first coat and stopping for lunch, pain Rx (storms moving in), and a Xanax (because I'm not so stupid as to not realize I need one). -
A Pretty Hard Situation

I think he tried to make them clear in this little encounter, in his own awkward way -- they just don't trust each other (and themselves) to believe what the other is saying, and to read between the lines to the meaning behind what they are saying. -

I think Bunny Boy will get what he wants before too long -- doing the same the Heath that just got done to him. -
I've been up almost two hours too long finishing a story that I couldn't stop reading. Midnight snack time, then bed. 📖

If he broke something I'd kiss it to make it better. 👅

The company I stumbled across was Emisil -- their "3rd gen STP" was €417.00; their most expensive was €535 (not a STP) with not only the 16 skin tones but 16 hair colors and "a nice, low-hanging 360° scrotum, with two movable floating testicles." Their cheapest was still about was €200.00.

Lol - could watch him sort laundry all day.

I had to look up packers, something I'd never really given much thought about -- the highly realistic silicone STP ones are horribly expensive aren't they?! I was, however, very pleased to see the site I found had them in 16 different skin tone variations. When I was dating my first bf, ages and ages ago, one of his friends was pre-op FTM who still used "she." She couldn't wait to get what she referred to as "the unnatural growths" off her chest. Was lucky enough to be dating a woman who was able to see her as the masculine soul she was.
