What I loved about this story was how it delved into Richard and Tony's lives so intimately yet at the perfect pace. The two of them explored each other and each layer revealed something else. Sometimes it seemed big, but it ended up not as important as they thought. Other times, small things became apparent and they seemed to grow in significance. This made them seem more interesting to me. I felt I knew them and could have a pint and a chat. Great story overall. -
I'm really enjoying this setup. The moral dilemma involved is very common, yet we don't really read many stories with this scenario. I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with it. Good luck!!! Great job so far.

I see you are halfway through the next chapter. You need to get at it. What is next? I love cliffhangers but I don't wanna wait. AAAAHHH! Great job! This is a lovely, complex story with layers.

I understand and appreciate Ross being skittish and nervous. Ty is being such a hypersensitive ass about him. I'm glad Deon and Kevin aren't as touchy. What a lovely gesture Neil's parents are making. I think it isn't probably a good idea, but we will see. Ross seems to be caught in a stasis of sorts. Something is going to give. Finally, is Kevin going to take a walk on the wild side? It seems he's going to be in the position for that to happen. Interesting chapter!

18 and 19 feel like companion pieces. I sense a story behind them. There is a sense of hiding under the afghan, which is followed by exuberant howling at the moon. Very powerful! -

Nineteen is so true. Sometimes it feels as though an errant word or phrase completely changes things. Twenty-one is also good. Again, it's about how words play a role in our lives. Sometimes it's a game and sometimes it becomes real. Very powerful.

What a wonderful, and intriguing, beginning. I already love Nobu and Viktor. You've blended their personalities into their family cultures quite handily. It makes for some great character development and a feeling these young men are very real. Great job!

Very compelling and well done!!! I thought you describe the action in a way I could see the action. Barry's movements were clear and precise. It wasn't too descriptive which continued to supply a sense of urgency. I thought the dent in the dry wall was a very good touch. It displayed the power of the impact. You managed to explain how Ryan's wheelchair could be used as a weapon. Great job!!!

I'm really digging this story. You've created some truly dynamic characters and I like the mystery of it all. It's very tragic, but there feels like something good is happening as well. The storyline is well balanced and intriguing. I couldn't stop reading this afternoon. Eli's back story is different but feels natural. His mother is well rounded. I'm wondering what the deal with Joey and Chase is. Anyway, I can't wait for more. Thanks for sharing this with us!

I really loved this chapter. You did a great job creating the firestorm scene/dream sequence at the beginning. I really felt like I was seeing it. I'm wondering what it does mean. Dreams don't come out of nowhere. Also, I love the tension at the end of the chapter. We get to speculate what's going on! Thanks!

You are certainly ratcheting up the tension in this chapter. Ross is going to explode. I feel for him. Ty, Wu, and then Stuart have placed the poor guy into no-win situations. There is no way a closeted man can live up to Ty's skeptical eye. Wu is so sure his friend is straight, Ross will feel he must keep it hidden. Finally, Stuart is obviously going to abuse Ross. You've erected a fantastic scenario with a wonderfully sympathetic character in Roscoe. I can't wait to see what happens next. Brilliant job!

I think I liked Line of Sight best. The characters feel so fresh and real. You said these stories aren't autobiographical. Is there another way you channel their emotional responses? I'm curious because I find your characters react so naturally. Thanks for sharing with us. -
The more I learn about Ross, the more I like his character. I knew many guys like him and his behavior is familiar. I can't wait to meet Stuart and see what he's like. I think Warwick is interesting as well. You're setting up an interesting story line. I am still unsure exactly where it's going but I think it's quite different from the previous story lines. I love that. The dilemmas being posed are unique I think. Let's see, we have Wu who is clueless. Ross is scared and stubborn. Warwick who is available. Ty is being careful. Jim and Deon who are being jockeyed about. I wonder if Neil and Liam will be in the mix or if they're fading away. Regardless, this is going in a fascinating direction, Graeme. Great Job!

Ty's father's meddling is revealed, at least to Peter's new team. It looks like Neil and Liam are going to have a special night together. We are finding out more about new characters and I wonder what Stuart will be like. Ross is certainly nervous about it. Good chapter pressing things forward and further introducing new themes. I like how you're still including Dave and his issues. There is a very careful and precise roundness to the story. We are seeing quite a bit of scope and breadth to the dilemmas you are posing. I really love what I'm reading. Thanks Graeme!
