We usually have this conversation somewhere in the story, but I'm sworn to secrecy 🤐 @Krista, you need to come for a visit, there is some flat land on Norther Montana, but still usually bordered by giant hills or mountains. Mid West you say Come for a visit, only and hour drive south to Montana . I remember the story, but she talked about using a bar of soap in the bathtub as lube, and my anus is still puckered shut 😮. I've tried so many times I will try to sneak in a little sex scene here or there, but somehow she finds it.

Oh wow! 2026 you say First off, to Myr and the rest of the GA community: With all the days off last week, if you got them, I didn't know what day it was . I forgot it was Saturday, but I'm going to blame a extra long turkey hangover in not doing the Weekly Wrap Up. After my 3rd attempt to add in the all the blogs and the WOTDs, and linking and all the other jazzy stuff that gets done for the Weekly Wrap Up, I'd keep making the same damn mistake and hit the back button on my browser instead of the GA browser undo button, and lose everything. So, I never brought up resolutions, because lets face it, they never work But I resolve to do the Wrap Up every week in 2026 unless I'm on a holiday, then I will nicely asked Cia to help out Now that past 2 weeks, the festive season to a lot of us, is over, let me ask this. Did anything strange happen this year? I will start this off 😮 For the first Christmas dinner in about 300 years, my sister did not bring up politics during the dinner It was a Christmas miracle Actually, it is usually brought up after dinner but that didn't happen either . I think if this goes off like this in the future, I can relax the GA 'no politics rule except in the Pit' rule at family dinners. So, did anything unusual happen to you? Ha! So I'm number 3 in 1 category, only preceded by @Lee Wilson in the first 2. Now Lee always talks about mass body counts in their stories, so question ? Do I need to kill some characters in my stories or kill Lee Got to get to number 1 somehow (just kidding of course )

I did find the Director's response to all the media's questions about the two leads and also the Scott Hunter character if they are gay, interesting. He said something along the lines of, if I asked anyone else their sexual orientation in any other line of work other than acting, how long would it be before I was in front of an HR or Legal department? Excellent answer!! That supposedly ended the questions from the media en masse. You can read about the characters lives leading up to and including the shooting and infer what you want to infer about their sexuality. Kind of like how a good writer doesn't necessarily need a sex scene in their story to let the readers imagination take them where they want to go. I am of the belief that 1, probably 2, maybe 3 are gay . A quick google search shows one is openly bi since about 2020. But the rest is only in my head Bad, Steve

I don't know if I should take this as a compliment or a complaint I do have to thank AJ and Myr who came up with a query to run. Back when I took over the Weekly Update from Renee, you had to sort all stories from the most recent update and then pull out the Hosted (Signature at the time) and Promising and post. With Myr's query, it eliminated the sometimes missed stories from manual or the original query. Also, it now includes all the other categories of Authors too! Which gives great exposure to everyone who takes the time to contribute to the site with chapters/stories/poems.

Season 1 has finished after only 5 episodes. I guess everyone is surprised at the worldwide attention and to this series, Crave and HBO Max are Season 2 has been scheduled, but who knows when the release will be. Krista heard late 2026, early 2027. Both Crave and HBO Max (US and Australia) has had the highest new series ever watching, and large increases of subscribers. Who knew

This has been talked about and usually ends up with hurt feelings on both sides of the topic of people with strong opinions, and ends up being closed. We are a community of both female, male and other members on the rainbow . If you want to start a poll, feel free! I do suggest you do moderate it yourself so people are not attacking others based on if they are male, female, gay, straight, etc. It takes a lot to make a community and the diversity of GA is what makes it work too. LOL, I do apologize 🙃 With having Tues, Wed, Thurs, Frid, Sat, Sun off, I dropped the ball, or the Christmas Present !! I was at a poker game until 2 AM and got home to walk the puppy dog I'm dog sitting and crashed in bed after the short but brisk walk in the near -40 C/F weather last night 🥶 I've tried to do the full update with edits, and 3 times now got to the end and hit a wrong formatting thing and hit the back button, only to loose everything I give up. Maybe need to go back to bed again. Sorry.

I think Brokeback Mountain was great! To me it was a ture love story, one that I think men have and still have to contend with, having one foot in the straight world and another in the gay world, where they would actually want to be. Also the fact that it was probably one of the biggest studio releases of its time to show a gay love story. Can you imagine Ang Lee trying to find a studio to fund it? 'Hey, I have the great book that was made into a screenplay and I want to put it on the big screen around the world' 'Oh, what is the premise?' Two gay cowboys in rural Wyoming in the 1960's to the 1980's that find each others and spend the rest of their lives chasing that dream of being together.' CLICK Add in the fact that my family doctor, an employee of mine at the time and friend, were all extras, I might be biased You and me need to have a discussion about what sports have balls and which have pucks, big difference The only balls in Heated Rivalry is the ones flopping around in the sex scenes (sadly, we don't get to see them, just bare asses and such.

When I first read this, I said to Krista something like, "Are you crazy. Joel doesn't need to get into another fight. This is not going to look good." She never talked to me for around 20 hours. I don't care if she already went to bed and did not respond until I signed on the next evening. It still was about 20 hours 😮. How rude!! The more I thought about it, I'm thinking of all the changes and growing that Joel has done. I don't really see this now as a setback in anyway. If he has the confidence and more important, knowledge, that he can take care of himself, and indirectly others, then he must also know that if anyone finds out or if Davin and him come out, he can take care of himself. Also, he did show restraint which he didn't have before. He didn't punch Jaxton like he did with Jonny, and even offered him a hand up to make himself look like the bigger man and cooler head! Yes @Jason Rimbaud, them holding hands after a tangle in the dirt was hot I guess the only ones that he can't use his new found knowledge of being able to defend himself is with Celia and Trace. I do wonder, since Trace and Celia are loosely 'guardians' over Joel until his 18th, which might be soon if I recall. So I'd say Joel is 6'2 and Davin 6'1, Gavin 6'3 and Colt and Trace in the 6'4 range too. I guess that is the advantage of not making New Year's Resolutions, nothing to complete I guess it is always prudent to have a plan for your future. Not sure if around you neck of the woods but they have also these other days: Shop Local Saturday to support your local small businesses, and to wrap it up with Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday seems somewhat new around here, where you are encouraged in our season alf gulutney to maybe give a few dollars or make some kind of donation other than cash to a charity. In addition to the Food Bank Hamper I pick up on every grocery shopping trip for the Food Bank, next week I'll give $50 to the Food Bank and my company will match the same. I have to admit that winter has come in like a lion the past week here in my next of the woods. Monday was a huge dumping of snow that brought out the best of first snowfall drivers of the year Although I got all new snow tires last Saturday, I chose to work from home on Monday and Tuesday. Looking out the window and watching the news, probably a good thing I did Tuesday was not as bad, but sill a lot of snow. Then it eased off until Friday were we got another good dump. The other issue was it was cold 🥶With windchill, we did get down around -20 C, or -4 F for my merican friends. Well enough of cold and snow, I imagine if you are down in the Southern Hemisphere, you are all laughing at me and wondering which way the water spins going down the toilet in North America Psst, it is a myth .
