    Weekly Wrap Up
I think I am going to rename this blog from Weekly Wrap Up to Steve's aging blog
My question to you this week is this. Do you know you have something to do, but before you get to it, you are distracted by multiple other things?  Case in point, I sat down over an hour ago to start on the Weekly Wrap Up, didn't happen. Logged into GA, noticed the few notifications so started weaving my way through those. Then there is a few topics that I'm following that I see people posted on. Then I like to usually read the blog on the day. So get all that done, and still not started on the Wrap Up . So do you get easily distracted at GA? I'm curious if you log on here and then don't really get to what you maybe logged in to do. So much great stuff and so little time
Before I procrastinate anymore , let's get the show on the road.
We started off the week with Cia where she introduced us to the CSR for the month August. Check it out. it might get you reading and then make some comments, maybe ask some questions for when the CSR Review Day comes up:
On Thursday, we had a bit of an announcement and shuffling the deck here at GA! Aaron let us all know that the Author Guess Who has been revived. We are looking for authors to submit their name, Aaron will PM you some questions, then they will be kept in a mayonnaise jar on Funk and Wagnall's porch until noon the day before the blog. NO one, knows the contents of these envelopes. Okay, too young to understand that joke ?
So all of us would like you to submit your name. What a great way to build up some exposure on the site:
Friday, our sure fire Prompt Team came at us with 2 new prompts. Check them out:

Saturday, Comsie took us on story of something he has been tempted to do for nearly 2 years:
Now it is time to take a look at the Words of the Day:
ambulatory, anise, adnauseam, abattoir, bedevil, awl, cider

    Weekly Wrap Up
Well we just had a false alert go off in my GA and I'm 100% blaming Myr  He made misleading comment about one of the better selling gay books becoming a movie. So naturally I ran to Amazon Prime to watch it. To heck with the Weekly Wrap Up until much later  I get to Prime and I'm thinking those rat bastardsions, they are not showing it in Canada!!!  Then go back to the post and see it is only a trailer on YouTube.
I seem to be doing this more and more often, not reading everything. Is it age? Is it lack of patience? Is it laziness? I'd really like to know. If you fall into this same category, curious on what you blame it on
    Well onto the show.
Why not start off with the Words of the Day:
drunkard, purloin, protractor, jade, mutter, noggin, blanch
Wednesday AM at the stroke of midnight (in my time zone), Aaron came at us with a great new Ask An Author 3.0 from an author that I want to look up. Check the blog and him out!!!
Now that all our secrets have been revealed, it is now time to ramp up the excitement to our annual anthology! Val featured a great piece that @Libby Drew did up:
Prompt Team Friday rolled in less than a day later:

Did you wake up on Saturday morning and mosey on over to GA to check out Comsie's latest article?

    Weekly Wrap Up
    Hello 😎
First off, I want to thank the ever elegant Cia for taking care of the wrap up for me last week  I think we will keep her around for a bit
Actually, with all your talk of bears, i had to leave my campsite temporarily as they tracked a gizzily momma and two clubs right close to our tent and campsite , but I survived. @Bill W, I can now say I survived the bears and the bares  Now if it was a blue bear, no bets on who would have won that one.
I have to admit to myself, as I grow older, I become more forgetful Back on June 25th, I forgot to remind everyone to write down in your calendars to remember to buy my Christmas present for 6 months down the road  Since I did forget, I can't help to imagine that I might get a few less pressies this year than last .
So onto the past week. I was going to tell you all it is a secret, but low and behold, everything is now out in the open!
Monday was the kick off  to the big reveal of our Secret Author week. Cia used the word purloined (need to get Myr to use that in the Word of the Day), and asked us to guess on which author wrote what. So out of our 100's of Authors, you had to narrow it down to 11.
Then it was off to Tuesday, where the Secret Author contest winner was revealed  Did you guess right? Also we found out the 1 lucky reader that was a winner too!
So we now know 1 of the 11 authors and what story she wrote! In typical, suspenseful, Cia cliffhanger fashion, she waited until Thursday to give you the whole list of the authors and the stories. Were you surprised? Did any really throw you off as they took the challenge to write outside of their normal style?
Also at this time, I want to throw at least 100 thanks and gratitude to all our participants and Cia as well. This was Cia's baby and she nurtured it to the final day. We all need to thank all of them for their great work. All of you, take a bow
Well that got us up to Friday, where Val got us reset back into a normal routine with the Prompts this week:
Wow, most would say that is a full week. I know I would. But no, Comicality dropped by to give us a new writing article. If you were too exhausted from the former parts of the week, don't forget to check this one out:

Last thing I want to mention is that yesterday Myr posted about some upcoming changes that will be happening to GA. Not for the sake of change, but for the need to change due to updates to our software systems. Make sure to pop in and leave a comment. You do have a say in the future of GA!!

So now here is the Words of the Day. Once again, some I knew, some I thought I knew and some I didn't have a clue:
perforate, youth, polestar, nosewheel, merino, prowl, bayberry

    Give Me Back My Prompts

If the review blog was a TV show, one would probably call this entry a cross-over episode. The Review Team crosses quills with The Prompt Team.
Each chapter of Sasha’s story was inspired by a Friday prompt. The result is a diverse collection of unique short stories that reflect the exceptional talent of the author as well as shows the many ways prompts can be used and/or twisted into stories.
There are first-line chapters (“Just slowly rub it in, why don’t you!”), teasers for existing series, superheroes, and stories that make you laugh out loud, grin madly, and some chapters even make you cry. What more could you want?
Well, it’s part of a series; if you want more of Sasha’s prompt stories, read on.😉.

Well a belated happy Canada Day, Independence Day, and let me know if your country had a birthday party too! I know a lot of you are located in North America, but would like to recognize our members outside of Canada and the USA as well! Let us know, heck let us know what day is your country's bday 🎂.
In my little plot of land in the massive world, Stampede kicked off yesterday  The place was nuts!! I guess for the first time in years all the hotels are running at over 95% capacity. If you want to mosey on down, let me know and I will fix up the bunk house for your stay  I think Val will take up the offer, but she'll be at the other end of the city at Spruce Meadows for horse jumping (not like cow tipping  ). I'll try to be in here a bit to get caught up on the Secret Author stories too!
Now on with the show!! Can you believe we have 7 blogs for all 7 days of the week! Great job team, you've done excellent work!!!!

    Weekly Wrap Up
    RIP Carlos Hazday
After the news the previous week of hearing of the passing of Carlos Hazday, one of the sites most prolific authors from him contributing in so many ways, we held off on the GA News Blog to give everyone the time and Carlos the small amount of respect we could afford him. In case you haven't been on site for a few weeks, here is the blog that was created to acknowledge him and his life as we know it.

Saturday marked the close of the Secret Author contest submitted entries. Just in case you are not over the International Date Line, like in Hawaii, you might have a chance to get your story in after this blog makes it's appearance. I'm pretty sure @Cia knows how many entries we have had submitted but as seems to be the theme of this contest, it remains a secret . Let's anxiously wait to see what and who contributed an entry.
We started back up the blogs again on Thursday where Cia did one last effort to get in any stray stories of the contest. Did you get yours in?
Friday, Aditus brought all of us a couple of new prompts on Prompt Friday:
On Saturday, Comicality was back again with another writing article for everyone to learn from, and enjoy:

Myr started to bring us back the Word of the Day on Monday, so here is a look at the new and whacky, well more the comments, entries he had:

My favorite genre of story to read here on GA has always been Romance.  But a particular flavor of Romance I particularly enjoy is that of the College Romance.  Maybe because I wasn’t lucky enough to have a romance of my own in college?  A particular story that caught my interest late in 2022 was one such college romance, Good Guys Don’t Date Bad Boys, by Laura S. Fox.
In Good Guys Don’t Date Bad Boys, we’re introduced to Jonathan Hamilton, a young college student who has changed schools in his junior year, fleeing undisclosed “drama” that has left him guarded when meeting new people. Apparently , trusting new people previously was partially the cause of his current predicament. It soon becomes apparent that Jonathan comes from money and privilege, and yet he brought none of that with him when he started at his new school.
Shortly into the new semester Jonathan encounters a seemingly rowdy group who, in his mind, are stereotypical frat boys. One in particular stands out, Maddox Kingsley, a  tight-shirted, perfectly sculpted, perfect specimen, emitting nonchalance. Or, in Jonathan’s first impression,  a douche.
Maddox is the apparent BMOC, with a reputation of girls throwing themselves at him, and competing in some form of “illegal fighting.” He comes with a requisite nickname “Mad Dawg.” Yet, upon seeing Jonathan, takes an inexplicable interest in him, and determines to get to know him. To which, in what might be one of the funnier introductions of all time, Jonathan simply replies “not interested.” After all, Maddox is an obvious bad boy, and Jonathan has determined good guys don’t date bad boys.
Thus begins one roller-coaster ride of a romance with twists and turns, and revelations you’ll never see coming. I had a great time reading this, and a great time interacting with the author as she posted. It’s a fun, sweet story and I highly recommend, if you haven’t had the chance, check it out today.

    Weekly Wrap Up
Interesting way to start of the blog this week
Sooooooooo, I think I listen to this song at the beginning of each summer as my kick off song to the summer. I like the lyrics and the video. I always wanted to be a boy of summer for a boy . Add in the fact that the kid playing the drums is so intense, who couldn't like this video?  I'm not sure if putting links to videos takes up a lot of bandwidth or not, but why not post a link to your favourite kick off to summer song. I'm sure everyone is different, so want to see what gets you in the mood for the summer! BTW, got the opportunity to see Don Henley sing this live as a single set during the Eagles Hell Freezes Over tour in 2013. I was taken aback hearing it live, with the music vibrating the stadium.
psst, Myr, if it does take a lot of bandwidth, let me know and I will crack open my piggybank to help pay for this weeks blog
Now on Monday, Cia gave us a new CSR for the month of June! Did you check it out? I've actually started reading it and I'm intrigued by the green haired boy ! Throw in a guy getting a lecture on a corset and I'm looking forward to this tale.
The great thing about a CSR day on Monday, it means that we are going to have it followed up on Wednesday with an all new Ask An Author 3.0:
Speaking of getting in the mood of summer, how about checking out our latest flashback to get us in the mood for the upcoming Secret Author Contest:
Then we are off to my favourite day of the week, Friday 🥳. It also means a couple of new writing prompts, this week by Cole:
Saturday, Comsie asked a question that I hope not a lot of authors ask of themselves:

Now what would be a wrap up without a wrapping up of the Words of the Day:

I think we have a topic of what are you listening too, what are you reading off site, but do we have one of what are you watching? Well let me know here
Personally this weekend I watched a series, 2 seasons, called Ragnarok. It is dubbed into English from Danish as I like to watch and listen to a show, not read it. That is what books are for, right?  It is an interesting take on Norse Mythology put into modern day settings. So if you sez to yourself, great another super hero movie about Thor, scratch that from your mind. This is more true to Norse Mythology than a superhero MMU film.  I wonder if @Timothy M. plays Magne or maybe even Laurits  Not having a huge knowledge of Norse mythology, for some reason it seems more realistic in a modern day series. It does have a bit of climate change storyline, so let that be a forewarning.
    Now it is your turn
While I was watching tv, many others were busy doing up the GA News Blogs over the week.
Monday was our CSR Discussion Day:
On Thursday, Val took us on a psychedelic Flash Back to the 2017. I think I was 25 back in 2017  Maybe I'm the only one on psychedelics here.
Were any of you others thinking of a gorgeous dark haired guy from Sweden in Roxette, when Aditus brought us the two new prompts this week?
Saturday, Comicality brought a new article using the name from a famous book's characters. One that I haven't read
On the Words of the Day: Sunday was langur. Monday was languor. Tuesday was enchilada. Wednesday was all about turbit. Thursday was ripsaw. Friday was a two meaning word, rummy. Finally an interesting discussion on Saturday about jaywalk.

    Weekly Wrap Up
Another week, another day, another hour  . I had a nice short week last week as in Canadia we had the Victoria Day Long Weekend last weekend, and I believe some 'mericans have the Memorial Day Long Weekend going on right now. I believe our friends back across the pond in the UK have this weekend as one of their Bank Holidays. Tomorrow I do believe the French have Whit Monday, I also think in the Australian Capital Region they have Reconciliation Day on Monday, but does the the rest of Australia have anything as well? New Zealand, let's hear from you!! With the exception of the Southern Hemi, usually this week is the official kickoff of the summer holiday season. So let's go summer!!!!
We have a lot of people that have reading lists here at GA. Maybe something caught your eye like in a Signature Author Feature, like @Dodger's feature this week, or maybe a Review from our Review Team and you have put it on your reading list. What about the CSR, any stories from there? So I want to know, what story is on your reading list to be tackled next? Yes, your opportunity to get a plug in for an author's story here in the Weekly Update.
Being the 4th week of May, we tend to be a bit busier this week than most  So let's get to wrapping it up
Monday, Cia was kind enough to bring us an all new Signature Author Feature with a nifty little signature that you can use if you are not currently using yours for something else:
Don't forget on Wednesdays, we have the Signature Feature Excerpt:
Continuing on the secret theme, Val took us back to 2016 to look at another set of stories in a 'secret' contest:
Friday, Cole brought the new prompts. Spurned by a real life event, he had some interesting takes on pets that I'd like to read one or two about:
Interesting article that Comicality wrote for Saturdays blog. Something that I might have to really pay attention to and give it a shot . Maybe he can teach this old dog some new tricks:

    Words of the Day included:

Trevor — a self-proclaimed man whore with the ladies — packs about as much personal growth as you could possibly expect in one summer internship, and  not just with sexual horizons. He quickly develops from one of the least-interesting characters in the “pack” series to one of the most compelling.
With each new story of his saga, @WolfM builds on the world and themes of the whole, told through compelling, relatable characters with action, humor, lust and love. Oh, and I can’t forget the intricately detailed depictions of interesting places found along the way

Full stop, it won't be a secret if you tell everyone here that you will be writing. Unless you are up to trickery and have no plans to write and post that you are going to write.
It was pretty quiet this week on the GA News Blog this week. Hoping some of our usual contributors had a nice relaxing week. Val and Comsie had you covered
The Weekly Wrap Up was up this week until Thursday. Then Val shared one of the more favourite contest we've had here at GA in the past:
Val was back again on Friday, with two new prompts. At least one of them was translated into German  Never know who will write a prompt though
Who could forget Comicality's article of the week? Well to be honest, me  When doing up this draft, I realized I missed out on putting it in here. All fixed before publishing time
Now I will let you all in on a little secret. One that I don't think would make it into the Secret Author Contest. Myr isn't actually up at 4 in the morning everyday to post the Word of the Day  So here is a look back at the week of prompts.

Hello all from the province that is on fire  Thanks to all the people from all over the US of A, the rest of Canada, some Aussies and other foreigners for coming to help. Nice to know that everyone can come together and help out when things like this happen
So, whatcha reading?  I'm just leaving it at that. Or if you aren't reading what are you writing?  Besides a response to me
Well since we are on the cusp of Summer in the Northern Hemisphere, curious if any summer plans are being made? Unfortunately with 35 years with my company, I won't get any this year. Well let's dive into the world of the supernatural this month. We are treated to something very different from Wayne.
We meet Jed, a man with many talents who is used to life in Northern California. But things begin to change for him, when he meets the mysterious Wolfgang. Wolfgang has come to town to investigate a string of suspicious murders. But not all is as it seems as we are introduced to his many talents.
We are introduced to the world of the supernatural, where you will meet many different creatures in this very different take of the supernatural. Of course you will also find plenty of erotic sex amongst the murder and mystery. It is fast paced and will leave you wanting more.

    Weekly Wrap Up
    Hey all
So, if your city, town country, etc. has a beer festival and you don't fight the demons of the alcohol , I suggest you might want to check it out!! Today I went to the Calgary International Beer Festival and somehow I'm still of the mind that I think I can right this blog  Myself, I'm more a straight kind of pilsner kind of guy, seldomly venturing into the the likes of IPA's, stouts, ales, and all the others. Well, I surprised myself . I had a great day at the festival and think this might be a more yearly thing. It is always a great thing that you can break out of your normal habits and try something new, you might surprise yourself! I know I did
Now I'm curious, tell me something that you did this week that might have been out of your comfort zone? Maybe you didn't actually do it, but did you think of getting out of the norm? I know in addition to the beer fest, I also made an honest effort to be more nice to Val  I'm not sure if you are willing to take on such an extreme change, but let me know what you may have, or plan to do
Enough about all that , lets see what happened here at the GA News Blog this week.
Monday we found the first of the month with Cia introducing us to an all new CSR:
Not to ever disappoint on the first Tuesday of the month, Aaron was back with another great AAA 3.0:
Extra, extra! Did you hear the news? Val was by to let us know of two upcoming writing events. One is a secret, so don't tell anyone about it
Back to a full week of GA News Blog, we had Cole pop in with a couple of new prompts for us all to tackle:
It is always nice to get back into the routine of things I say. So it is great that Comicality was back with another great article again this week:

Don't forget, Myr was in everyday with the Words of the Day:

    Weekly Wrap Up
It appears that spring has finally sprung in my neck of the woods. All week we are supposed to be above 20 (68F) and by Thursday up to 27 (80.6 F)  I will need to be bringing out the SPF 2200 for that day 😊 Sure enough, I head back to the office grind on Monday, but I really can't complain about the temperatures as I was not going to let the weather dictate my vacation so I wore shorts and sandals every day 😎I do however hope that everyone that are experiencing adverse weather in their area are staying safe and it is only for the short term.
Looks like the month of April did turn out to be a month of poetry. We had 3 weeks of Poetry Anthology entries and then a big thank you and all the stories wrapped up in a nice neat bundle on Thursday this week. Please take the opportunity on the Thursday blog if you haven't had the chance yet to go, to thank all our authors (on stage) participating but also the great hard work that the background (backstage) people all did. It was a great production!! It has been a long time since I've seen such a well participated in Poetry Anthology. Thank you all  Take a bow.
Now I'm curious, we have had a lot come at you in the past week. CSR Discussion Day, Poetry Anthology wrap up, lots of new chapters came at you too!! So what did you take up or continuing on reading here at the site?
Being the last Monday of the month, Cia was able to interview @vanalas in the CSR Discussion Day:
Thursday as mentioned, Val did a nice little wrap up for the Poetry Anthology. Please stop by and leave a comment!!
After a bit of a break, Comicality was back with another Writing Article. Ironically the man who gives us some of the most detail and informative articles wrote his shortest article I believe, on not being wordy

    Weekly Wrap Up
The one good thing about taking forced holidays is you get a lot of crap done that you should have done way in the past  Let's see, I finally got my painting done that I started in November. Bought new appliances that I wanted to do before Christmas and got some new furniture too! So I will host the next GA Friday night party, and you all are invited . You can all crash on my new couch
Now what to do in the week ahead ? Any recommendations? I am working my way slowly through the Poetry Anthology. Need to go back and leave some comments, I'm one of those guys that like to think about comments and come back later. I did my spring cleaning in my house as I was painting and maintaining it, but probably can now do a good cleaning inside and out of my vehicle. Kind of watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs, so Go Winnipeg Go!!
Enough about me. I know we have different forum topics on what you are listening too, what your reading off GA, etc. The past week I finally finished off reading Going Down in La La Land. Have any of you read it? What did you think? Or, what interesting non GA stories might you be reading? Oh, unbeknownst to me, I guess it was made into a movie. Need to add that to my my list for the next week
So on Monday, Cia introduced us to this months Classic Feature for the month of April. Make sure to drop by and see who and what is being featured. There is also a neat little signature image that you can put in your own signature with a link, if you so like. I do it every month
On Wednesday, Cia was back and she also brought with her the Signature Author Excerpt. See if this makes you add this story to your reading list:
Like all things in life, there always an end to what is the best  (Unless I'm wrong ). But turn that frown upside down and check out the last week of our 2023 Poetry Anthology. I've started on it, and will continue on .
As always, we like the the Anthology entries be the focus for the rest of the week.

But don't fret  Here are the words of the day!

    Weekly Wrap Up
Did you notice we had an announcement this week that you won't probably see regular blogs about every week?
It was a bit busier week than usual on a Anthology release week. Now that we have two weeks of poetry anthos out, tell me 2 things. 1, how many have you read. 2, which one would you recommend to others? Okay, you don't have to choose just 1, but was thinking that we might get a wide range of likes. Maybe even tell us what you liked about it as if you were a salesman selling poems like the encyclopedia salesmen of old  If you don't know what an encyclopedia is, think Wikipedia in book form but no editing allowed
Also it is the time of year that my company comes to year end on Apr 30, meaning I need to take two weeks of holidays or lose them  No plans, except maybe flying into Buffalo to meet up with @Valkyrie to hand over the HUGE book I have on a certain member  . Somehow I feel this is going to firmly bite me in the ass again
Now onto what all happened this week!
Monday our super review team put forward a great review by @chris191070, that finally got out to you :
Tuesday we had that huge announcement that I was eluding to. In case you haven't heard, pop in and welcome Val to the GA Staff Team:
Thursday was our final blog for the week, since we want the Anthologies to be featured for the rest of the week :

Although we had 3 blogs, we also had 7 days of Words of The Day:
intone, mauve, ophthalmology, arable, lunkhead, surreptitious, applejack

This is a truly amazing story from Mrsgnomie, everything is just perfect about it. But before attempting to read this story you really need to read Boss Nanny first.
We follow Loren as he becomes top of the Social Media industry. Loren didn't have an easy start to life, but he learned to survive. Loren was always missing something in his life to make it complete.
Things get complicated when along comes Jay. Jay a NFL footballer who's life has always been relatively easy for him, until he meets Loren.
Destined to be together, it takes quite a while for them to get together. Because Loren is a hard nut to crack, but once he cracks, things progress from there.
But Loren and Jay do not have a smooth ride, they both have problems and issues to be worked through, individually and as a couple.
You really need to read this story to learn about Jay, Loren and their friends.

    Weekly Wrap Up
    Pssssst, did you hear!
Yes, this is week one of the Poetry Anthology being released 🕺 Now it is up to us readers to go take a look and thank our great members that participated with a review, comment, even a like. It lets them know how much you appreciate their contributions.
It is Easter weekend, and has anybody bought all their chocolate? How much are you going to share  ? If you are not a chocolate fan, you can always grab some when it is being cleared out on Monday and drop it in a food bank drop off if you have one of them. I did do a bit larger shopping trip the other day and put in a bit of stuff since I could.
So stories, I'm going to tackle the anthologies, but I need recommendations. What story would you recommend me, or others on site to give a read! Not sure if I'm ready for a serial, but how about a good, entertaining story.
Onto looking at the past week on the GA News Blog, we did have a shorter week than normal. But big things were in the works.
On Monday, Cia introduced us to the story and the author behind the story for the April CSR Feature:
Tuesday, our site comedian  Aaron took over the reigns for an all new AAA 3.0:
Then onto Thursday where Cia launched out first week of the Poetry Anthology:

Like Ole Faithful, Myr was up every morning shooting up his own geyser, which we call the Word of the Day.
kuchen, pettifogger, pellucid, perihelion, incertitude, jalopy, kitsch

So don't be like me and Valkyrie
Valkyrie as Spike and me as Chester.
So to avoid getting a back hand (paw) or two, I promise I will not ask her daily for when the Anthology will be out  I will though be sitting patiently by awaiting the release! I know entries are making their way to out super duper Anthology Proof Team and then when everything is looked over and ready to go, Val will turn on the power
Now that is is April 2, did any one get April Fooled?  I worked with all the staff for a friend whom is a chiropractor and arranged for him to have a new patient. He knocked and came in the door and looking down at the chart and not really looking, starting to say 'Welcome Jeffery' until he realize their was a skeleton on his adjustment table  His chart said the primary reason for coming in was he waited to long out in the waiting room. Wanted to get nutritional information on if he should add more carbs and fiber into his diet  The doctor said he was waiting all morning for something to happen, but it did genuinely take him by surprise and he did like it .
How about you? Anything funny happen to you yesterday?
I'm also curious, did you finish off a story or two in the past week? If so, what were they (plugs allowed) and what did you like about it/them?
We had a good week here at GA, so let's dive into the site blogs.
Monday, Cia gathered us all around in a reading circle to discuss this past month's Can't Stop Reading Feature on Discussion Day:
Thursday, Valkyrie steered our attention to NaPoWriMo which started on April 1st. Not sure what that acronym stands for, check out the blog:
Friday, back upon popular demand  we had a second week of delicious prompts with Dessert Prompts Part 2:
Yesterday it was Comicality's turn to impart some of his wisdom and knowledge upon us with another article:

Mr. Myr was in at the crack of dawn (somewhere) to bring us a new Word of the Day Sunday through Saturday. Lately they have mainly been words that I don't know. Wonder what this week had is store?
desolate (knew it), gregarious (knew it), quietude (nope), quay (nope, well had it wrong), grange (nope), paraffin (knew it), oyster (knew it)

    Whoa, Nelly. I'm wiped out
I may or may not have been, what the hell there is cameras in every place now adays, at a bar celebrating the little leprechauns among us. Yes, I'm talking about our Irish friends. But then again, the rugby playing guy I met last night was not little nor would I call him a leprechaun
Then tonight it was my lil' sisters 50th bday. She is the last of us to hit 50, so the only thing we kids have to look forward to now is reaching 65 so we can get our Seniors Discount at Denny's
Still, I am up at the crack of 1:15 am to give you what the tens of you want, the Weekly Wrap Up. With that said, let's get going!
Monday, well, I messed up. Our Review Team and specifically @chris191070 did an excellent review. Just I forgot to publish it. We will see about getting it up sooner rather than later. My apologies to everyone
Wednesday, if you weren't paying attention, you might have thought it was Friday already! Geez, I could handle a work week like that. Cole Matthews posted a blog for the 2nd part of the Desert Prompts. I'm kind of hungry, would any be opposed to me suggesting Dessert Prompts in a few weeks?

Then believe it or not, we only had one more blog and that was from Comicality:
The one thing we had every day of the week was some new, some old and some really whacky words of the day:
baobab, habiliments, titivate, duckboard, maquette, shenanigan, nib

    Weekly Wrap Up
    WAKE UP!!!
    YOU ARE LATE!!!
Okay, that is kind of a North American comment but bear 🐻 with me  (I know I spelled that wrong  ) And if you are a bear, no hate mail please
So before I started this blog I went back and read over all the great suggestions that you all came up with last week  . I'm going to toss 3 ideas all into this blog and then see how they go, and tell me what you think.
First would be, what is your favourite story that you read this week as suggested by @astone2292? Was it a chapter, or finishing off a story? Enquiring minds want to know
The second one we have to be careful on, right? If I ask a question, it can't really be political. Probably won't do the above and this one every week though. This one actually dances on that line as it is politicians that make the decision, but here we go. If you are in North America (I don't believe anyone else has it), is your region getting rid of daylight savings time and going to standard time year round? What is your personal opinion, love it, hate it, indifferent to it?
The third and final thing I'm going to try is every week from a suggestion last time I solicited ideas, I asked and we followed through on marking when a story is complete. Some of you are of the mind not to start a story until you know it is complete. So I will keep up the notification, but I am also going to add a quick comment from a reader after the Story link and status. If there is no comment, it will have a N/A. Maybe someone has read it and never left a comment on the story. If you want, why not share a comment below?
But before we get into the wrap up, I do need to ask a favour from the masses. Can you just think of any story you have read in the past year, 2 years, or 3 years? Come up with 3 simple questions and send the story name and the questions, can be more than 3, off to @astone2292? Just to be extra sure everyone knows something some of us may take for granted, to send a message to @astone2292 is to click on his highlighted name and it will take you to his profile. I've checked it and it is PG rated . Then click on the Message button:

So onto the blog, I think I have talked myself out .
Monday was Cia's chance to kick off (no pun intended ) the March CSR Feature:
Next up on Thursday was Valkyrie reminding us all to get an Poetry Anthology in if you want to get into the game! You have until Midnight, April 1st EST to get your entry in! Shall we ask Valkyrie, since time is a topic this week . Is the 12:00 AM April 1st, or 11:59:59 on April 1st?  I'm sure either way she will help you out!
Friday, well rested and roaming the desert with Cole Mathews, they both came up with some interesting prompts. Care to partake?
If you wanted all your questions about Niche Writing, then Comsie's article is the place to be:

The Jock and the Bookworm by Backwoods Boy **Complete** @drsawzall says, "Once again Backwoods Boy gives us a wonderful short story and so very well worth the time to read!
