You're a talented writer, and it would be a shame if you never posted any more of your work. I hope you find the motivation to finish your new story. This story was so good, I can't imagine something even more intense. That's a roller coaster ride I'd love to take

After reading your other story, I decided to check out your other stories. Interesting start. I'm looking forward to seeing how everything develops.

Well that was an unexpected ending, but it made me think. And good stories will do that. I'll be thinking about this story for a long time, I think. I think I found the hint too, and I'll say I'm satisfied with everything that happened. I really enjoyed this story. Thank you for sharing it with us.

It's a beautiful fall day here. Upper 60s and a mix of sun and clouds. I met an old college friend for lunch, and she brought me five boxes of her old therapy materials. She doesn't need them anymore since she retired. It was great catching up, since I haven't seen her in ages. I had apple butternut squash soup, a salad with Parmesan peppercorn dressing, and crab stuffed haddock. *burp*

It takes a long time to deal with the aftereffects of such a horrible assault. I think Rick will do a lot of healing in the upcoming chapters. I'm looking forward to more.

The bird didn't fly into a window. I had a clear view of the door and couldn't see it until it flew away. I'm pretty sure it got caught up in the gutter right above the doorway and was flapping around, causing the noise I heard.

If I have nightmares tonight, I know who to blame

Totally. If it had been at night, I would have called the police. There's been lots of reports in the area of break-ins in both houses and cars.

I just had something really strange happen. I heard what sounded like knocking on my front door, but it was a really strange pattern and sound. I looked out my living room window, but nothing was there, even though the sound clearly continued. O.O The cats were staring at the door too, like WTF? So I thought maybe something had gotten trapped in between the wood door and the screen door. Then I saw a bird fly away, so I think a bird was divebombing either the gutters or the part above the door. Now that I think about it, maybe the bird got caught in the gutter and was trying to free itself and finally did. My heart is pounding now...

I love maple sugar candy. Unfortunately, it's off the menu for me now. Enjoy a piece for me!

Good morning! I had a great day yesterday. I got up early and went to an estate sale that had some model horses I was interested in. I was the second person there. The first person was a fellow hobbiest... Instead of being in competition for the horses, we talked about which ones we each wanted and came up with a game plan so we got them instead of any dealers. We had a great time chatting while waiting for the sale to open. We ended up with everything we wanted, except for one horse that was in the pictures, but one of the workers got it for her niece *pouts* We still ended up with some great stuff for bargain prices though. I'm quite happy with what I came home with. We went out to lunch afterwards and then I went to see her farm and real horses, along with her model horse collection. The leaves are just starting to change, so it was a very pretty drive too.
