You captured the elements of this story completely, Wicked Witch. Very nicely done. I loved this story and agree completely with your assessment of the ending. I can't wait for the sequel either.
I knew the word "tangent" so got that much of the joke. As far as the equation or whatever they drew on his arm, I have no clue if it's right or not. I just knew you'd appreciate it.
Well mathletes are no match for ninja penguins, narwals, cranky kindergarteners, shark squadron, fluffdragon ferrets, dragons, and my pony.
I thought you'd appreciate the eye candy... especially the team captain who competes in a thong
I totally spaced on reading this story for the discussion day. But after reading Stannie's summary of the story, I am very intrigued. I'm a big fan of stories featuring flawed people and characters that aren't necessarily likable, but relateable. I will add this to my ever-growing to-read list.
You keep ratcheting up the heat with these. *fans self* I particularly liked the line, "tumbling slowly into this one moment". You're going to be an executive chef before you know it.
@Headstall I'm finally getting caught up on my Spruce Meadows watching. I just finished watching the Atco speed class and OMG what a great class! McClain is always a joy to watch. I love the new design on the Canada planks. I tried finding a pic, but only found the old design. I still have the derby to watch. That's always my favorite class.
