These are all very gut-wrenching, but #2 is particularly good. I think RJ's comment was spot on. I also hear the survivor. Sorry you're in such a dark place right now. I hope you see some light soon.

Yes, I was very sad when Loras died, too. I hated that they broke him first.

Chapter 21 Joshua “Ye just missed our turn, love,” Alannah stated as she lightly smacked my arm. “Son of a bitch!” I searched for a good point to turn around, but there wasn’t one on the narrow rural route. I exhaled sharply in frustration. I was exhausted, and anything preventing me from being home as soon as possible put me in an even worse mood than I was already in. “There’s a gas station a few miles from here. Stop there so I can drive.” “Yeah, sure. Fine.”

I once read that a good story needs conflict. Then add conflict to the conflict. Then more conflict, and eventually, resolve the conflicts. You raise some valid points. Those questions will be answered... eventually Thanks again for all the comments. It was great reliving the story by reading them.

Ethan, Galen, Josh... they all have their issues, that's for sure. This was a huge step for Josh, since he's always repressed his feelings instead of letting them out. We'll see what the result is. Thanks for your comments!

Yup. I'll be watching it all on TV this weekend One of these days I'll watch them in person I'd love to see the Masters (especially the Derby) but it would be really cool to see the Stampede too, so I guess it would make the most sense to visit in July when both tournaments are happening.
