    April 1 : Begin

I really like the form of this also, especially the single word at the end of each stanza. Nice beginning! And Happy Belated Birthday and Retirement to your pappa!
  2. Thanks so much, Parker
  3. Thanks so much I think Parker's nefarious plot is to infect all of us on GA with math... Thanks for the comments, tim. I'm glad you liked the 'Careful' prompts. I had a lot of fun with those.
  4. Day 1 Ruins Stone towers lie recumbent No longer reaching For blue, but consumed by green. Day 2 “Careful ties his hat on…” prompt. Write a series of short stanzas that personify adjectives or abstract nouns. Awkward stands in the corner, wringing his hands instead of mingling. Confused thinks Sarcasm is cruel. Careless forgets that words have power. Grief mourns the loss of friendship. Day 3 Circular Reasoning

    If I were gone...

That's a really good idea, Kitt. I am very private about my writing and activity on GA, so very few people IRL know about it. I am friends with some GA people on FB, so they would know if anything happened to me. I have been contemplating drawing up a will, so having a provision that GA is notified might not be a bad idea.

    F.U.C.

You are right, way too many of us can relate to this poem. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. The poem was extremely well-written.

    Day 1 - Day 5

I love them all, Addy What a great idea to pick a theme for the month! The tribute to Echo was very moving. I love #5. The revisions are perfect. Great job! I can't wait to see what you come up with next
  8. Congrats! Purple looks great on you This is very well-deserved
  9. Congrats on the feature, Caz! Wow... that's a lot of reading! lol I'll try to get to at least some before the discussion day.

    Love

One of the things I love about animals is that they love unconditionally. They don't judge. They don't care when we make mistakes. My cats always seem to sense when I've had a bad day and need comforting. They're not lap cats, but on those days they will lay a little closer to me, sometimes even right against me, and give me head butts so I pet them. I'll never forget those that have passed - Sebastian, Turtle, Rubycat... they were all special and will always hold a place in my heart. It sounds like Ripley was very special, too.
  11. Congrats, Puppilull!
  12. AC and Parker (along with many others) did a great job fooling us. Very tricky of AC to set the story in Europe and use European punctuation style. I thought for sure Puppilull or JHunterDunn wrote it. While Parker's story screamed "him", I thought someone else may have written it to make us think Parker wrote it... so hiding in plain sight was a good strategy. lol I'll have to re-read the stories when I'm home from vacation.
  13. I think that's a great idea, Tim.
  14. Wow! What a great thing thing to wake up to this morning! Thank you so much to everyone who voted for my story I'm beyond thrilled that Peter's story resonated with so many people. Congrats to AC and Parker and all who wrote such wonderful stories.
  15. I'm so sorry about Alpha Mini-cat looks like she's a great momma and the kittens are so cute! Congrats and keep us updated. I expect lots of pictures of the little fluffkins.
  16. I'm sure I'll sound like a broken record, since I say the same thing whenever I read your prompts, but more please! This was a nice introduction and I'm glad, too, that it wasn't Dillon who rescued him. I wouldn't be surprised if Maureen set up the talk. It sounds like Tony needs a smack upside the head. I'd love to listen in on his talk with Dillon. Nice take on the prompt. Welcome back!
  17. Great advice Cole, and I love the way you presented it.
  18. This is a lot of fun! lol From Faeries Anonymous: "Hi, my name is Jonquil--but you can call me Jon--and I am a faery." And then the murders began. From Max's Garage: "I'm very disappointed in you, Conners." And then the murders began. From Alex's Legacy: "Tell me about Alex," Aaron said softly, stroking my hair. And then the murders began. Apparently I start a lot of stories with dialogue. lol
  19. From Penguin: The man walking toward me had a cat on his shoulder. And then the murders began.

You have a very interesting concept. I'm very curious about what happened to Noel. I'm confused about the name though. Is it Noel or Ellie?

    errorlog.txt

This reminds me a bit of the Machine from Person of Interest. Interesting start. You left enough breadcrumbs that I'd like to find out more. On to the next chapter....
  23. Great interview I loved Crave and am excited to see you're planning a sequel. Do you set aside specific times to write or write when inspiration strikes?
  24. I think either Parker wrote it with the intent to make use think AC wrote it, or AC wrote it with the intent to make us think Parker wrote it. I also wouldn't be surprised if someone else wrote it -- like Macgreg--- with the intent of tricking us all, too. LOL
