Bound & Bound--the Curse and the Captives
Puppilull replied to ColumbusGuy's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
What do think of Jennifer Lawrence as Maria? She's got that vulnerable yet kick ass attitude. I'm also quite fond of Joaquin Phoenix. He ould make a great Laszlo. Seemingly strong, but ready to crack at any time... For Razvan, my pick would be Nicolas Cage (younger for Razvan and older for Ronald). The main characters are much more difficult. I have so many feelings for them, that it's hard to put pictures to their faces. They are more like ideas of people, not actual people. To limit them to an actor would just seem wrong.- 269 replies

There is something so very compelling about this story! I can't help but be fascinated by these two. They are getting under each other's skin and they don't like it. They just can't help it. I get the feeling it's dad who wants Kel dead, since he's finally tired of him. Its kind of an elaborate plan, but maybe he really doesn't want to be connected to the killing.

I've been trying to figure out Malachy's big plan, but I couldn't really come up with a good theory. The full moon means shifting. Could he want to shift into Kyle's body instead? No, he wants to stay with Hazel and he doesn't know Nick had left Purgatory... Otherwise, he might try and stuff Nick in Kyle. And not in the fun way... Is it weird I kind of like Malachy? Oh, well. I'll just have to wait for the next chapter!

When Hel comes back in his human body, he really needs to have a serious conversation about all this. One that doesn't end so abruptly. Maybe James isn't the one to talk to. Hel feels to much about him. Even if he doesn't know the answer to the question "boys or girls" yet, he seems in desperate need to understand his awakaning feelings. He's very innocent.

[Sasha Distan] Sanctuary
Puppilull replied to Sasha Distan's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Yes, poor Hel! It's not so easy to be that young. I think James handled it well, even though Hel fainted (?) at the end. I hope he just fainted from some kind of input overload. -
That was some fight! Very well written. I felt like I was watching it instead of reading it. It's hard to see this pair suddenly change their tune from kill to kiss, but that only makes the story even more addicting. What will happen all those hours in the chamber? Perhaps Rick can use his brain instead of brawn to get Andy to see reason. Trouble is we don't really know who is on the right side. We only have Rick's side of the story. To get people to agree to a suicide mission, the Mainland will have to have some story to convince people they are in the right.

Haters And Bigots = Changes To My About Me Section

It would be interesting to hear if the pastor would have the same conversation with a member of the church who writes murder mysteries? Some of the newer crime books are really creepy. If anything would lead people astray, it's those books. Not that I would want anyone to have to stop writing creepy crime. I just DON'T READ THEM! Simple solution, pastor... You just keep writing, Caz! -
I can't help thinking anger got him through that phone call, but the sadness after hanging up must be terrible... I'm a generally forgiving person, but dishonesty is something I just can't tolerate.

Bound & Bound--the Curse and the Captives

As usual I wrote my review too soon! Why, oh why isn't there an edit function for reviews? What I wanted to say was this. It was a beautiful connection to Plato once more. Vision is love. When Em could really see his father, he could understand his motives and feel his love. So my theory on forgiveness being key wasn't that far off. I just didn't get who were going to do the forgiving... Nice for Plato to get another line. And that raven scene was just amazing.- 269 replies

They're getting so close to that secret! Just hope trust builds in time for Casey to rely on Shawn when Uncle Meanie sets his plan in motion. I have a feeling it's not far off...

Bound & Bound--the Curse and the Captives

Since she ended up where she did, I'm kind of hoping there was no baby at all. Just a hoax, planted in their minds by Vlad. If she did become pregnant, it would make more sense to me if the baby was Laszlo's with a bit of Vlad magic thrown in. If Vald could impregnate from a distance, i e create life, he would have no problem getting out of the oubliette on his own. Maybe, I can accept mind control more than Vlad being almost godlike.- 269 replies

Auburn Ski Camp: Snowflake and the Lion
Puppilull commented on MrM's story chapter in Auburn Ski Camp: Snowflake and the Lion
I felt sorry for Sabrina and Jimmy. They seem to have ended up collateral damage in the Brian-Snowflake situation. Maybe they can comfort each other? I mean, three's a nice crowd, but four is just a mess... -
Having Sam jr torture and kill his own father could maybe be seen as some form of poetic justice, but if CE is supposed to have anger issues (I mean, really?) then that's nothing compared to how screwed up Sam jr will be. You wouldn't do that to him. I can give you the satisfaction of having me well and truly puzzled about your Amazon remark. What ever are you up to now?

The sun set, but the red wine got me instead! I will have to save ch 1 for tomorrow.
-
Poor JAR... Are you not feeling the love? I plead the sun exception. It's finally sunny and warm, so chapter 1 will have wait until sunset. Amazons? Warrior women? Intriguing...

Yuck! Beautifully written as always, but yuck! A fitting end to a horrible person, but I still would've felt better if she could just have been left to rot somewhere. But then her influence over Laszlo would not have been broken.- 269 replies

When a Pretty Girl Cries
Puppilull commented on LieLocks's story chapter in When a Pretty Girl Cries
Malachy... It's getting more and more difficult to keep his secret. If he brings back Kyle, won't he know who Malachy really is? Like Shane and Riley knew Nick wasn't Nick. He should make plans to vacate the premises. It's not a long term solution to occupy your "dead" son's body... -
Browny points? So it was no. 3...? Sorry if my kissing up was too vigorous.
-
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=UA I'm guessing no. 6, but no. 3 would be funny if a bit too rude...
-
Sounds promising!

What you do with those kittens and the roll of duct tape is really nobody's business...
-
You are hardly alone in that. There are a surprising amount of stories (and other stuff) on that particular theme. And you being into control might be the worst kept secret ever...
-
It was the 80s! I'm sure at least one wolf would have had a longhaired phase if they had been teens then. Make up... Maybe not.

Brady and the band need to tread lightly if they want to get Silas back in their lives. Going to the gig was the right choice. If they had gone after him, he would probably have bolted even faster. Afraid to connect and actually feel something.
