You got to know when to hold 'em Know when to fold 'em Know when to walk away Know when to run That's kind of my motto! So guess what I'm doing...?

Bound & Bound--the Curse and the Captives

Oh, there was an OCR here in Stockholm today. It would have been so much fun, if I wasn't hung over. So today's down was brought on by myself.- 269 replies

What a horrible choice to make for Nick! But if he didn't get out, he would have no chance of saving Shay.

I've read the updates, liked and reviewed (including wild theories)... What now? I will be waiting impatiently for the next book. May 16 seems like an eternity... Ha, ha! Since I don't know what the books contain at present, it's very difficult to estimate a reasonable price for any changes. A very poor starting point for negotiation.

I find it fascinating that it's possible to capture the idea of a wolf with just a few lines. They really do have a very strong presence. I just hope that the image being more of an image of the idea of a wolf doesn't mean too many actual wolves bite the dust...

Bound & Bound--the Curse and the Captives

This post will contain spoilers... I'm almost over the shock of yesterday. Almost. It's a good thing you had that dream in the first chapter. Otherwise, us readers could have been all "Oh, fuck this!" if you pardon my language. I got sad and mad, but I wasn't really surprised. It was the only logical outcome. As usual, my brain started to work its weird magic and this morning I suddenly thought "Who are the decendents Gretza's and Ahmed's baby? What would become of a combination of supreme evil and devoted love? Which side would win?" Could Sil be that person? It seems strange to think anything good could ever come from Gretza, but Ahmed's influence must count for something. If would be kind of poetic if the blood of the curser and the cursee could overcome the curse by love.- 269 replies

Timmy's Terrible Prompt Stories by TimothyM
Puppilull replied to Irritable1's topic in Stories Discussion Forum
My thoughts exactly when I read your new chapter. I didn't want to write it in the review, since they're two different stories. It was just what I needed, though. Would have been difficult to sleep in that mind set... You showed us the power of love in another way. The love of friends who aren't afraid to stick up for each other in a better way than violence.- 1,697 replies

So great to see the guys have friends who stand up for them and protect them. Jasper is a clever guy. A ginger too... -
Chapter 10 - Truths Revealed

It's so great you can give us a bit of closure! I so want Seeon to be happy. He deserves that. -
It's an intriguing start. I keep wondering what spark is. I thought electricity, but why would junkies want that? Unless they are robots... My mind is running away on me again. As usual. Could a certain someone be one of the agents? That would be a nice twist. I think Susan had a name change at the end of the part where they spoke. Suddenly, Susan was a Sarah. Or I didn't get that part at all...

Oohh.. I got tears in my eyes now. My own Pittypat and Tippytoe are sleeping soundly in their beds, the flat's a mess, but we don't care. I know we are blessed, having friends who struggle, sometimes in vain. I have those precious marks all over my heart. Thank you!- 269 replies

It really can suck to be Mr Nice guy... But Sasha is doing the right thing. There was a reason he wanted to follow Kyle. He just didn't realise it right away. I wish he could be clued into the situation with Nick and Malachy. All in due time I suppose.

You'll turn out to be a big romantic softie like the rest of us! Who's a nice writer? Who's a nice writer? Yes, you are! Yes, you are! (annoying dog owner voice)

Bound & Bound--the Curse and the Captives
Puppilull replied to ColumbusGuy's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
I finally had the chance to read the latest chapter. Hopefully, my review won't spark all kinds of OT-discussions... When I read the discussion between Ahmed and Junayd, I kept thinking about this poem by Swedish poet Karin Boye: http://karinboye.se/verk/dikter/dikter-engelska/on-the-move-2.shtml It's always difficult to find a translation that captures the feeling of a text, but this is rather good. The poem combines both Ahmed's and Junayd's feelings. The road traveled is what gives your life purpose, not some far off goal. At the same time, you should not stagnate and settle in one place forever. The adventure lies ahead. Live life in motion, but be present in the here and now.- 269 replies

The ladt chapter really made me mad at Galen! Ethan is a sweet guy who's so in love with Galen and Galen is like "Whatever..." I just want to grab Gaken, shake him and yell in his ear "You'll break his heart!" The worst part is he's aware of this all along. It's ok to make a few bad decisions, but to lead someone on for this amount of time knowing you only think it's for "fun"... Building self esteem can be done without using other people. Maybe I come across totally inconsistent since I don't have any problems with Galen going after Josh. I guess it's because in that relationship, he's honest and in relation to Ethan he isn't.

What an ending! I am very happy Jim made it ok. When the furballs started singing, I almost cried. They are so full of live and trust. What a great power to draw from! I enjoyed the journey of Kyle and Jim so far. They faced so many terrible moments, but faced them together and grew together. Now, with the experienced fighters on their side and a sea of furballs, they have a chance to beat those travellers. I'm very much looking forward to part 2.
