Wow! I'm so excited for the band! My brother and his friends struggled with their music for such along time, but never got a break. I can totally get the happiness of the gang! To see Silas' face when he first hears it! Priceless! One detail. They opened with Navigator, but Tim said something about the last song. Or was he referring to the night before?

I'm not sure, but the first one could be"The wall and the goat" by Sasha Distan. It's not totally like you described it, but nightmares and antagonism are in there...

Bound & Bound--the Curse and the Captives
Puppilull replied to ColumbusGuy's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Ha, ha! I find myself sometimes doing references that no one gets and they look at me strangely. I wrote something here in one of the threads about being able to recognise things from quite a long way away and I don't think that worked at all. I was tempted to just write "The larch... the larch", but I doubt it would have helped.- 269 replies

Why Early 80's Babies Are Different From Other Millennials
Puppilull replied to methodwriter85's topic in The Lounge
I'm born in 1974, so I might be Gen X. I however distinctly remember when we started using computers and the Internet. Maybe we are a bit behind in Sweden. It's funny to think what an enormous change that took place in only a few years. I took a children's course in Dos at the age of 7-8, but still used a type writer in high school. So it was kind of a drawn out process. -
Bound & Bound--the Curse and the Captives

Well, in Sweden irony and sarcasm have been like the national sports for over 20 years. Weird humor is something Swedes like a lot. Monty Python for instance was/is incredibly popular. British humor in general really. So no one really reacts to it. It's almost the other way around. If you don't get jokes like that, people think you are a bit strange.- 269 replies

Bound & Bound--the Curse and the Captives

Here I go to sleep and there's a diplomatic crisis developing! I can assure CG and all of you that I did see it s a joke and I hoped my response would show that. If anyone is to blame for starting this, it's me with my joke... I know joking online with people you don't really know can be difficul. I have a wicked an naughty sense of humour that might not suit everyone, but sometimes I just can't help myself. When I can get a word pun in, it's irresistible.- 269 replies

Oh no! How will Shawn get out of the bathroom and the house? At the same time, he might learn a few things if he manages to eavesdrop. Though I doubt he'd understand what they'd talk about. You don't really expect your secret boyfriend to be part dolphin...

We all know what John would like to sink his teeth into... It's Friday! Soon to be Saturday, which means updates! A play list seemed in order to set the mood!

If you want analysis, you're in the right place! You will probably also get far out speculation, wild theorising and just nosy questions in general...

Oh my! It would take some strong willpower to resist that attraction. Still, a wise decision. 15 is awfully young. Nice to get more background about the guys.

Silas is such a great guy! To help his friend, he's ready to face his demons. He's getting very sttached, even if he tries to ignore it. Maybe he's finally subconsciously so tired of running, being alone and lonely that he just can't do it anymore. Poor Chelsea! Her father breaking her arm! That ending had me tearing up. Together, the brothers might find strength to deal with their past.

Oh, poor Sasha and Cyan! They must be feeling really terrible! Even if I'd have to say if anyone had just cause for "cheating", it's believing your boyfriend suddenly dumped you and went straight... You wouldn't expect him to in fact be dead and his body possessed by his demon father. Just wonder how Nick will see things.

Finally, a bit of communication! Well done, guys! I think I'm not alone in wanting to read that tri-bonding chapter...!

Thank you for sharing! I'm really glad you started writing and giving us the opportunity to read your work!

It's a good decision by the boys to be a bit secretive. Otherwise, the weekend might end up being about their relationship and not college. They shouldn't have to hide, but it feels like neither of them is ready to be out like that. It will be exciting to see how Matt's friends react to Parker. I have a feeling some will suspect something... The whole "normal" issue is a bit difficult. On one hand, I can understand the desire to be just like everybody and not be defined by only your sexuality. On the other, it can be important to be visible as a gay person. Otherwise, you might suddenly find yourself viewed as not nirmal, just because people don't realise it's really quite common and gay people are just like everyone else. So, how do you combine normal yet visible? Without telling everyone you're gay...? Not so easy.

I'm really more of a double entendre kind of girl. But I'll work with ambiguity. You are building this up sky high. Soon, nothing short of a total annihilation of the entire pack will be expected.

He he... We are always on the look out for clues. Not that it helps all that much... I thought you meant "father" as in "That traitor scum isn't worthy to be called Sam's father". But then, what background check did they really do?

Bound & Bound--the Curse and the Captives
Puppilull replied to ColumbusGuy's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
That's exactly what I tried to say. It would be like finding actors to play friends or family. They just wouldn't do them justice. No one would fit. JohnAR tried to get me to name actors or find pictures for his story, but I had the same problem... I see them in my head, but can't find them online. I have a soft spot for Cage. Inexplicable, but true...- 269 replies

Am I terrible if I suggest Brent Corrigan for Louis...? So, the picture wasn't of anyone famous? My guess is there are already tiny saplings growing there. At least, they waste no time to grow on our yard. I'm guessing it's a tree thing. They don't beat around the bush...- 269 replies
