But couldn't he just like coconut? I'm pretty sure he liked strawberries and plums even before he met any of the wolves in the pack. Or he has been conditioned to like them?

You are so sneaky! That totally makes sense! This is why I need a new read-through. One where I take notes and write flow-charts...

I was going to say that's not possible, but then I remembered who I was chatting with.

Bastard! Eff-ing bastard! Where's Samuel L Jackson when you need him?

Just thinking about kids having to grow up like this, makes me so angry! Being a teen is hard enough without parents and peers treating you horribly. I'm guessing we're meeting dad now? I have a feeling I won't like him...

Bound & Bound--the Curse and the Captives
Puppilull replied to ColumbusGuy's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
I had the same thought. It's basically the same god. It's just that so many people don't see it that way and although I think any god or religion should be able to handle a bit of sacrilege, I don't want to be unnecessarily disrespectful. There are ways to get your point across and still show respect.- 269 replies

Bound & Bound--the Curse and the Captives
Puppilull replied to ColumbusGuy's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
I must say I was relieved to see the reply to my latest review. I was a bit nervous about connecting a passage from the Bible to a chapter about two Muslim men having sex... Perhaps not everyone would appreciate it. In Sweden, we are generally kind of laid back when it comes to religion and I tend to forget things are not the same in other parts of the world.- 269 replies

Hmm... True. Maybe by book 6 he's learnt to control the link with the wolves? Seems very impractical to be bound together physically like that when you are fighting evil.

I get this horrible feeling there might not be any bullies on the way home. Could his father who is seemingly nice and concerned in reality be a bastard? Why else would Ezra be so opposed to homeschooling?
-
Well, I just read Bait, so my nerves are already shot! Are the vampires trying to get Colt to turn and thereby eliminating the pack from the inside? Very evil...

A wolf in fighting mode at that! What will he smell like in a lovey-dovey mode? Lily of the valley? (My second least favourite smell...)

So, I guess this chapter answers the question of Sam Sr's motivation for joining the pack and if it's possible tohave a straight wolf in the inne circle. The latter seems to be a question of purity and choice. I didn't think Colt's wolves chose to want to belong. Maybe that's just Sam Sr talking. His wolf isn't drawn to Colt. Coconut? Is that our straight wolf? Colt doesn't like coconut, does he? As a scent it's so fake and horrible. Or maybe I'm just too prejudiced due to meeting too many German tourists smelling of oil... That could be very interesting. Colt trying to survive and having to use his Metainfluence superfast on a really surprised wolf. Also, wouldn't it make a lot more sense if at least some of the atrocities committed against women and girls in this world could be blamed on evil, supernatural beings?

I went running again and realised my summer vacation reading project will be reading all of MetaWolf from the start. When I read, I often skim the text and only get the gist of it. Occupational hazard, I guess, being used to read insane amounts of text for work. Problem is, I don't want to just get the gist of your amazing story, JAR. It's just not enough! Not sure though, if I will be able to take break from the story, until I catch up again. Probably not... Curiosity is a bitch. Now, I'll have to read this week's chapter. Coconut, you say..?

Paved with good intentions
Puppilull commented on LieLocks's story chapter in Paved with good intentions
Ooohh! I can't wait for the next chapter! I'm thinking Daddy dearest will make an appearance or at least help Nick tap into his full power. When Devin gets what's coming to him, Sasha should get his powers back. Hopefully, he will then no longer be under the influence of Liv and Lucas. -
Auburn Ski Camp: First Session
Puppilull commented on MrM's story chapter in Auburn Ski Camp: First Session
It's good you'll get him waxable skis. Still, it would be really interesting to see a 25 year old make it to the Olympics, without previous serious training... But that's just my Swedish side talking. It will be really interesting and fun to see these guys continue their sparring match. No real fight, because I suspect they actually want to give in to each other. Just not right away... -
He could be one of the bosses at the bank. No need for trader edge then. I think he would make a great boss, but it would seem convenient if he were to quit. All that insurance money could be a nice start for a bit of investing on his own. I don't think Kevin will stay much longer with Excelsior. Maybe they can have a small guide business in Scotland. Neil watches Sophie and day trades (or long term invests) while Kevin is out climbing.

All that demon rage fighting to get out must be useful in the fight. Nick must be more powerful than anyone could guess. It's good to see that he now welcomes his powers. He's come a long way!

Good thing Nick's a necromancer!
