Well, I think Mick needs to figure out what he really wants. If it's sex, then he has to work on hos method of getting it. Hanging around outside bars seems kind of dangerous. At the same time he says he wants no strings sex to protect himself and his partners, so getting to actually know them would defeat the purpose. However, I can't really believe him. He slips up and asks why no one can just love him. But Mick, you can't love a ghost, an image. For love to grow, there has to be trust. For trust, you have to get to know each other, scaring past and all. It's a leap of faith he has to make if he wants love.

The Sparkling World of Zonesee
Puppilull commented on jvaughn's story chapter in The Sparkling World of Zonesee
I think it's great to give us readers (and the guys) a little breathing time. We get to see them get to know each other, without impending doom hanging over their heads. As to the slight size problem... I suspect that where there's a will, there's a way. Maybe it's not just a telepathic ability that has developed between them..? -
A face that launched a thousand ships...? I hope the only war this starts is an internal one, which can be distressing and difficult to deal with but no one dies at least.

Since I'm such a drama queen, I liked the boys' discussion about Eric feeling inferior. I can really relate to that feeling. It's hard to see your own strengths and appeal, but so easy to think your accomplished older brother must be everyone's first choice. Maybe this is something to explore further, if we get to follow the boys a bit longer, past the first lovey-dovey phase. Perhaps, Nelson has a friend who is older and more confident than Eric? A little jealousy followed by some making up...? As regards the sex, is anyone ever confident the first time? No matter how much you read or see online you just don't know what you like or don't like until you try it. Good thing they are almost of equal experience level. That way, they get to explore together.

That threesome is looking more and more like a reality. Just how do you handle a threeway mating when two of the parties are fighting it and the third is clueless..? The lion overwhelming Vash made me think of my kids when I pick them up after school. They talk and talk and talk... Like we haven't seen each other in days.

Hot and sweet, such a nice combo! I think it's great Mick found a gentle soul who could give him the control he so sorely needed to get back in the saddle.

I get the feeling Takashi is a dragon. All that warm breath and pointy teeth. I also hope Riley found someone to cuddle. Dying of skin starvation must be horrible. Babies can suffer something similar and fail to thrive if deprived of human contact.

I've read that review reply so many times today. Those capital letters just crack me up!

Really Tim, can't you read JAR's mind yet? I obviously can, but then again not all of us can be psychic. Or nosey... Ha, ha. And the prompt is updated now...

Such a bleak picture of young men you paint... Probably true, but I would hope there was some depth there. Maybe his flippant attitude will come back and bite him somewhere appropriate. He might grow up in front of our eyes.

Oh God, what a nightmare! I'm sure the fuzzy posse is only trying to help and I have a guess what's going on (regeneration...), but for Kyle to just wake up like that... Yikes! The flying carpet was cute!

I think how scared you are to come out must be seen in context (even if I'm the first to admit I don't really know what it's like...). I mean, just think how it was in the 80's. At least in Sweden you didn't see any gay couples. The idea of same sex couples just didn't exist. If some guy was "friends" with another guy, we generally assumed they were just friends. So we weren't prepared. Now that things have evolved at least some, we aren't as naive and understand the situation. Maybe Kevin lives in an environment where people genuinely believe he's just friends with Neil? They aren't surprised or shocked, because in their minds there's nothing to be surprised or shocked by. A guy has friends, close friends. Nothing else. Because that is so unthinkable. To overcome that hurdle would take courage. Look at some cultures where homosexuality is really taboo. In many middle eastern countries, men hold hands and kiss. Is it "gay"? No, because it's so unthinkable. They are just friends. Gay is invisible. I personally think it would be great if we could display affection for the people we love, lovers or friends, in the way we want to. Just the other day, the coach and assistant coach of one of the major ice hockey teams in Sweden kissed. Why? They were happy and wanted to show how much they like each other. It made headlines, albeit positive ones. So while we might be getting there, we still have a way to go. Ok, end rant! Hope it made sense...

I feel so sad for Mick. So much to handle in his life, it's no wonder he has to invent coping techniques that don't involve other people. And that humour of his... It makes me laugh, then almost cry because of the hurt behind it. I think you have to remember that Guy is only 24 and fresh out of his education. Of course, he's going to try and help the best way he can. Hopefully, he will realise Mick needs someone to just be there but give him space. Mick's like one of those wild horses. Any wrong move will spook him.

Åh, why did you tell him? It was kind of fun having JAR thinking I'm some evil mastermind with psychic abilities. Just kidding, I told him myself. Unlike some people, I don't tease people with unanswered questions.

I like the idea that Mick is like wolf nip to Guy. Irresistible and dizzying. Maybe just what Mick needs. His story seems to be a really sad one.

Grrr! Where is my pitch fork? I feel like rounding up some villagers and go on a rampage to that church! Ezra's dad at least join him in pain and believe his twisted faith is helping Ezra. I seriously doubt Luke does anything to him self to inflict pain.
-
Oops! Wouldn't want that. Maybe I should cool it. Or you're just teasing... Oh, what the hell! Is it that you're a trekkie..?

Ok, guessing time! So Al needs to leave his pack just as bad as he needs a smoke. He's tried fighting both urges but the whole vampire business is proving to be too much. What if Al is watching Colt and intervenes in the attack (?) together with Warren? New pack members - two for one special? That cigarette bud made me wonder if Al left it for Colt to find as some sort of warning? If say Prime was to smell it, maybe he would know who smoked it? Ok, now I've done my bit for tonight's entertainment. Hopefully, someone will have a good laugh!

Again with chapter 15! That will be the ultimate chapter! And I keep my fingers crossed for confused abductor. Much more fun than coconut...

A terrible burden for a young man. Even though Martin is not a nice man now, it's difficult to not in some way understand his anger towards the world in general and Casey in particular. How will he keep his budding friendship with Shawn a secret?

Maybe Warren can join the pack like Seb? Not inner circle, but more content. Then again, he is introduced as a virgin (?). Doesn't mean he's pure...

Wouldn't it make more sense (even if I doubt anything will make sense prior to book 7) if the Latino was coconut? It would be funny if the abductor suddenly felt an overwhelming desire to submit to his victim?

Purring - the most menacing sound they could make... That was just so sweet. I get an image of a giant cluster of kittens trying to scare someone. Also, to make the trek to the Temple, why not body surf? A collective mind would be ideal for transporting two unconscious humans with tiny, tiny paws.

Hmm... What if JAR likes that? Where would you be? A bit like Stan. I felt for Alpha Luke in this chapter. His entire life, his family used for some other purpose. Not even being able to trust his closest men. And even facing his biggest fight, his CE can't see beyond prejudice to help him. What was Brian's big reveal? His suspicions about Jackson? And Colt! Is he knee deep in Piña colada by now?
