I beg your pardon (sorry, couldn't resist), but isn't that exactly what you did? A rose garden is pretty to look at, but when you get close you almost always end up with scratches, pain and possible bloodshed. Not at all what you expect when trying to do a spot of gardening. Or reading a "romance" novel. You left out toil. Rightly so, since I never expect toil when reading your story.

I got this uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach after the last chapter. Changes can be difficult, even if they are pleasant changes (like graduation). This chapter however left me feeling lost and a bit fearful for the future. Something bad is going to happen (and not just the battle). Sometimes I would like to be able to fastforward, just to settle my nerves.

Well, Edward, I'm not sure if it's plot lines that are limited. Isn't that life you're describing? As regards romance at least. Of course, there could be a fourth option, love and happiness from day 1, but who would want to read that? If the sex was really good, then maybe... I think you are doing very well within these limitations. Neil is struggling with himself and he's growing up in front of us. That is what I like about this story. I'm hoping for a specific outcome, but it's the road leading up to the end that makes it worth reading. When it comes to reviews, keep in mind there are quite a few of us that aren't English speaking natives. Therefore, we sometimes express ourself a bit clumsily and down right blunt.

I don't want to say I told you so, but I told you so. Cam became the rebound guy, even if they tried to talk about it. Neil is still not over KbR and I think that is why his back isn't getting better. He is carrying a lot of hurt around and it's not a good idea to drag someone else into that. Neil did try to be mature and responsible, but having someone who looked up to him and wanted him was too much of a temptation. I still think Kevin has to be the one to make the first move. If indeed any move is to be made. Neil won't be able to handle much more of this emotional turmoil.

Nick and Sasha! Yeay! The reson Lucas and Liv are so dead set (he, he) against them being together must be that their love somehow multiply their powers. I think they both are much more powerful than they ever thought. The fight will be interesting. -

Well, I'm as eager as everyone else, but I think it's better if you take your time and get it righ instead of fast. We can always start over from the beginning... That should ease the craving at least a bit.

So nice for Vash to finally connect with his shifter side. I wondered if you were writing another menage, but it feels more like Jackson is related to Vash somehow. If that is even possible. To me, Vash is in more need of a reliable father figure than a lover. -
Well, Roger seems to have found a convenient solution to his sexual needs, but in truth so has Josh. This fuck-and-go isn't a relationship, it's scratching an itch. I don't know what has happened to Josh, but he has closed himself off and can't see clearly what is going on. Maybe now his body has realised what it wants and needs. His mind just has to catch up...

This is such s hot and yet disturbing story. They are both kind of twisted individuals, but they seem to have a connection somehow. Could perhaps Noom be a shifter too? -
So now we have our two protagonists! Nice if Casey could land himself a guy who could afford to build him a nice, big tank if they were ever to leave the island. Romance novels... He, he! Are you including your inverted self in the story?

What a chapter! I guess Kyle and Jim will have to rely on each other now. Hopefully, the furballs will help them. They seem to like Kyle at least. Again, I started thinking that the weapon isn't a weapon as such, but more the collective energy of all those furballs. But I'm probably wrong this time too...

If people could say what they want and ask for what they need, everyone would be a lot happier. Good thing Brian took that chance and filled that scrapbook. Even if losing someone hurts, never loving is do much worse.

I do this every time... I said to myself "I will just read a little, just see what it's about. Then I will go to sleep..." Well, almost two hours later, I finished your amazing story. The intensity and sexiness just wouldn't let me go. So good! As regards what Theo was... Many signs pointed to wolf (the comments of the parents, the significance of the full moon) but Theo seemed more like some kind of cat to me. All that purring, the way he put his face in Rick's hair (my cat did that all the time). Also, Leon's name made me think if that. The biting of the neck is something cats do as well. Maybe the mother is a cat and the father a wolf?

I'm kind of proud of myself that I could figure out who the "I" was after only a few lines. But really, you should be proud! You've given them all such personalities that I just knew it was Moshe speaking. It will be interesting to see what the parents think of their little love triangle.

So much thoughts of loss in this chapter. It must be scary for Mark to realise he can't shut down completely and that he cares so much for Dan it breaks through his defences. At the same time, the ending points to hope. Mark doesn't want to be an island, undisturbed and lonely. He has started to see he has something and someone to live for. Just hoping JP has a good plan for the exodus. And why is it so quiet from Sandpoint..?
