Politics have perhaps twisted their view on things in the Everbright city. Though I must admit Veil could be right. Since the knights haven't exactly won any popularity contests lately, they should perhaps proceed with caution. Just hope the released demon(s) won't get out of control.

The talk with Veil made me more certain things have to change all over. Three realms, three new leaders... But tgat would mean Max has to find a way back into Styx' good graces. And perhaps more...? At least he doesn't stink now.

Being part of a flock, however small, is such a comfort to us humans. Eric has found himself on the outskirts of a small but friendly flock. I hope they can all build mutual friendships from here.

What a choice to make at the end! But Roma lives and Ra deserves that too. Aliana would want her husband back. Tricky situation, but Tylien handled it well. A beautiful story with just the right amount of fantasy. Thank you for sharing!

Very nice ending, leaving us at the beginning. I don't think we should be so hard on Erik. He did all the big things, shifting career, home and basically everything. Of course, it'll take time to figure it out. Ryan made his stance clear and then waited. Wanting to stay with his family is hard to argue with and a compromise isn't possible. So I'm not saying he's to blame for his decision. Just saying Erik had to make a rather difficult choice.

It's nice you gave Winnie a bit more of a personality, not only a monster of demands. Most people are both good and bad in varying composition. Twyla can remember the good, but she also needs to look out for herself. It's no good to sacrifice yourself totally for someone. Eddie and Natalie strike me as distanced and uncaring. Not the reaction I would have if a friend/lover died. Frustrated would be more expected.

Soon united all three to fight the demons and the kings of both worlds. Time for a change of rulers, I'd say. A triumvirate? New blood, new ideas to keep the worlds evolving.

Alex sure is determined to win... With all the scheming taking place, I guess it's not surprising he pulls out all the stops to strengthen his position, even if it means squeezing Adrian into compliance. And Jezebel better sleep with one eye open. She slipped up and I think Ysabel at least suspects what she's up to.

I have missed your story so much! And now the action is back! It must feel good for Alex to have such devoted friends, even though they are a blind man and a not so skilled fighter. I'm sure Talia will work out a solution to her slip up.

Galen... You are so messed up, poor baby. Can't figure out that unexplained absences makes Josh go nuts with worry and can't handle any strong emotions. When things get real, he bolts. Fortunately, Eddie is one person who can relate. And Josh... Open that bloody mouth and say something. Skulking around being scared and feeling guilty isn't leading anywhere. Maybe they should do a double session with the Doc? Someone has to break the deadlock. Don't be so hard on Ben. Remember we are all seeing him through Galen's eyes. He has no idea what happened.

Max is growing up, turning into his own man. Salidar will have to let him go, or lose him forever. Difficult choice when you're the king. Grim is right about his ability being horrifying. Most gifts can be used for good or evil, though. Even if melting demons isn't a very common one, we all still have to make choices on how to conduct our lives.

For an 800 yo guy, Prism is quite energetic. Still, he's in somewhat of a pickle. What will Styx do to save him? More plotting to be made.
