Many people here in Sweden were sad to hear the terrible news. He had been ill and his personality wasn't perhaps the best for a performer. He was more the shy guy. I thought he would recover and keep making music even if he didn't tour. There was a memorial for him in Stockholm on Saturday. Fitting to remember him through music and dancing.

I don't think we should be too hard on young Tyler. However, both friends should have seen the need to get in touch after a while. Sometimes parents are a good thing. Lovely to see them together for such a wonderful life. To love and be loved is really what it's about. Romantic love or not.

Oh, poor Eric! Being sick is terrible. Being sick alone, cold and completely without food is much worse. Andy needs to get closer to him and take him under his wing, without Eric noticing of course. Stealth carer. That is an apt title.

Oh no, Talia! What a pickle to land yourself in! But I'm confident you'll find a solution. I'm a bit surprised the general didn't kill her at once, but perhaps doing it from such an advantage wouldn't be fair play. Nice to see Alex and Carl get at least some alone time.

Nothing would make me happier than if we all could learn how to see the actual person in front of us and not only our expectations of the person. Especially if we can't refrain from getting annoyed if the person doesn't act according to those expectations...

Yes, he does make you feel pretty good, doesn't he? I'm really pleased you liked the dialogue. It's always a challenge to get it to sound somewhat natural. Especially when writing a younger person. I aim for flow and leave it at that. I thought Lucas would make an appearance, but I guess he was busy at work and he never showed up. Bri was probably studying. Diligent girl...

So many dead and then when Neredos finally shows up, he of course does something ill thought through. He's so full of his own superiority that he can't imagine having to listen to anyone. I'm hoping Grim slippedout of that helmet at the last moment.

So united at last! Now, how will the boys handle sharing and caring for Styx? And perhaps each other? I guess we'll see. I feel sad for Max losing his father, but it had to happen for change to happen. Now, on to the next part of the battle!

I try to keep a balance between polishing and killing a story. Knowing when it's good enough isn't easy. Especially since I write in a foreign language, word choice takes a lot of thinking. So I agree it can kill a story, make it flat and unremarkable if you tweak too much. Then again, I also believe in writing not only when inspired. If you write, inspiration will come. Those forced texts of course need more TLC before publishing.

I didn't think about that, but you are right. The chapter is structured like the waltz and also follows the progression of their learning curve in the dancing. As for Mason, his background could have contributed to making him more insightful.

And that's why I wish for men to join in the discussion, to widen the notion of what makes a man and perhaps make it unnecessary to actually put a label on people. Quite often in discussion on a one-on-one basis with guys, they say it's not so easy to be a guy and women shouldn't complain. However, when I ask why they don't try to speak out and strive for change, most of them say "It's impossible. It can't be changed. It's just the way it is." If women had had that attitude in the 19th and 20th century, we wouldn't be able to vote, work, be independant, live on our own etc etc.

I do believe a person should be able to take care of themselves and their offspring on their own, so good for both your father and mother for going beyond what was expected/accepted (?). And knowing to cook will always be an asset for life, to impress and survive.

LOL I see what you mean, but in my mind Mason was talking about Joel's want/need to bottom. Although, that could very well be an orientation as well when it comes to Joel.
