They are slowly inching their way back into each other's lives. Getting acquainted for real now? But all that distance is a problem and Erik's job could be dependant on him being in New York. Perhaps not living there, though. Thanksgiving will be interesting. I think you did a very good job with Chloe.

Good for Kohen to get out a little. If he's ever going to be the master of his own fate, he must take control of his life. Not easy, but necessary. Are the ship's people fighting over rescues? For what?

That guilt must be terrible to live with. To think there could have been something done to prevent the tragedy. If there is something I've learned over the years, it's that we never really know another person fully. It's difficult for a young person to see that, though.

A lot of story in a short piece. You almost owe these guys more. -
Eric sounds like he gave up on life from the get go. Sad to think of people not given a chance to have at least some friends. Even though I suppose he's partially to blame himself, it's still a lonely existence. Good thing he finally reached out and broke that wall between him and the world. As for unlikely friends... I think Eric would be surprised to find how seemingly completely different people in fact have much in common. Of course both sides must be listening and participating.

Not sure Captain actually sees Kohen or merely his idea of Kohen. Is someone experiencing a bit of a saviour complex...? Then again, Kohen hasn't realized the depth of manipulation he's been through. Perhaps they can meet halfway?

For now, Galen using Josh as a crutch is ok, even if it must wear Josh out. They will need a change soon, unless Josh will get completely exhausted. If Galen could only talk to the doctor...

Hmm... Not sure Ryan has actually dealt with whatever haunted him, but distance from his life in NYC seems to have put him in a better place mentally. But if Erik needed such a mammoth project, I would say Ryan would need something much bigger.

I'm glad there's sequel in the making, since I feel about as confused as Erik (and probably Ryan...). Maybe Ryan should look into some therapy when he's back in Canada? He seems to need a little help to figure stuff out. Or he's in for a lonely life. Erik was a bit unsure, but he assumed they would keep hanging out when the filming was done. Keep dating, like ordinary people. So I guess I have to read on to see how this works out.

Ryan needs to figure out what he wants to do with his life. He isn't committed to being a bartender who does porn. His heart isn't in it. So what should he do? Some serious thinking needed.

So, I'm really curious about why Ryan seems not to like himself, like being gay or the idea of actually feeling something for another person. Puzzling. As for fake? I think the lack of fake is what's disturbing him. Ryan and Erik aren't fake, so Erik's theory is flawed. At least when it comes to the two of them. Acting is supposed to be fake and losing that shield would make anyone uncomfortable. Method acting is all well and true, but you aren't supposed to be you on screen or on stage.

Not really giving Ryan the power all throughout. If I were him, I'd feel a bit cheated, even though he enjoyed himself. Their pork is turning into a documentary and that is precisely what Ryan doesn't want. He doesn't want real. At all. No matter what Erik says. This is a connection he can't cut off camera and that is doing things to his head.

So, academic stress made him leave that world. But why is he so afraid to feel with another person? I can get him not wanting to lose control at work. I don't either. Somehow, this feels deeper. As if Erik affects him too much. Bottoming from the top could work, provided he feels safe. I still think it's not a good idea to go ahead. Ryan is too raw.

I really think Ryan should listen to himself. A massive collapse of walls like that isn't the way for him to keep filming. I bet it looked amazing, but it's not at all good for him. It brought up far too much bad mojo. As for the other asking and prodding... People ask. I'm sure Amanda is trying to be a friend. Ryan isn't a teenager. He's a grown man on a job. Acting childish isn't an appropriate response. Especially since Amanda seems to back off pretty much immediately when she gets even a rudimentary answer. Erik is probably really proud of their scene and its success. He doesn't seem to have the issues Ryan is battling.
