  1. I think this is my secret identity...
  2. Thank you all for your hard work with keeping GA open and developing the site further!

    Chapter 10

They were his foals! I always imagined a rescue mission for the foals of the herd (If unicorns live in herds...). That made his situation even more emotional. I hope they get out quick. Those trolls are hardly all alone. Or?

    Chapter 9

Oh... This seems to have ballooned into a major operation. Maybe not a job for such a small crew. What a choice, though. Try to get only the goals now or retreat to plan a more comprehensive extraction...
  5. This word I learned from Monty Python and the Penultimate supper sketch. Still makes me giggle.
  6. My guess was @jamessavik, but I'm not sure if I'm off on the number of cats... Or I also thought of @Myr. Hmm... Tricky.
  7. Maybe not spectacular or wrenching the heartstrings completely, but I found Mathilda, a young trans woman, to be brave role model. Even today, even in Sweden, it isn't an easy decision to be open and out. It's in Swedish, but your devices can perhaps help you translate. https://www.aftonbladet.se/nyheter/a/50QlMX/mathilda-25-foddes-i-fel-kropp--nu-bryter-hon-tystnaden
  8. Great word but i got stuck on pronounciation. Hmm... I'm guessing it's pronounced with a hard G as in linger? But that is perhaps a misleading influence by the words meaning. Maybe the G is 'silent' as in singer? Or perhaps a J-sound as in cringe?
  9. Thanks for a helpful list! I agree on the whole label thing, as they can be both helpful and hurtful. We just need to figure out how to use them in a good way. For greater self-understanding they are good tools. (A bit like how I use Myers Briggs. I find it useful for myself, but wouldn't outright tell anyone else their "type" unless they asked and I felt I could explain in a fruitful way.)
  10. I got some nice wireless headphones with noise cancelling function. So now I'm totally immersed in my British crime and nothing disturbes mama... Also got a gift certificate from work that I turned into a black cardigan. Very practical! The gift that made me weep was a quotes book from my oldest "Why I love you, mom". Getting sentimental.
  11. I'm so happy to hear from you again and to hear you're feeling just a bit better. The way you describe struggling out of a seemingly impossible place is so moving. It's the gift of hindsight but also clearsightedness. You can look at yourself from the outside in a way most can't and that lends such authenticity to your text. It's a truly touching read.

    Chapter 4

Jake is handling the demon introductions very well. Maybe he's in cataloguing mode, keeping some distance from the whole situation by focusing on organising his impressions. I suppose the sex helps relieve tension too... The idea of Kiorl purring is funny and sweet. The big kitty cat...

    Chapter 3

Tobias was his own special sort of practical and distanced caring. I'm happy Jahke has been introduced more to us. He's not only horny and flimsy, but has a brain too. Perceptive too, since he picked up on Tobias rummaging around in his mind.

    Chapter 2

No taking the easy way out from that conversation... And Tobias isn't the touchy feely kind to be supportive. He'll tell Jahke to toughen up and get on with it.

    SP: Chapter 1

Demons aside, they are so sweet together. Jahke's desires could be a beacon for the demons, leading them to him.

    Chapter 8

Tiny but not to be trifled with, I think. Powerful beings, the Fae. I imagine they make really bad enemies, if you cross them.

    Chapter 7

Another being to get to know! Tiny and with bells? Tinkerbell? Just kidding! But I am curious.

    Chapter 6

So they have the diamonds! At least a bit further on their quest. I wonder what new obstacle they'll encounter now?

    Meat Meets Veg

Online friends are just as close and as important! I'm glad Taylor and Michael could meet in person, though. Online kisses only go so far... Lovely ending to this series. Thank you all!

    One Year in a Pot

That sounds like a dessert for a very merry Christmas. 😂 it could get quite wild if my family tried it. But old recipes are links to our history, so they should be treasured. Having solid ground to stand on makes going forward easier.
  21. Even without the added circumstance of bi, gay or straight, having to fill the shoes of a well-liked ex can be difficult. Pam is trying her best and his parents need to apologize. They acted like spoilt children.
  22. I so want more of Hagan and Gil! For someone who's been around for centuries, Hagan sure has kept a distance to humans. Gil will be both entertained and frustrated teaching him. But oh what fun...!

    Christmas Bread

I'm sure they'll manage to communicate just fine. I think they'll find spoken words are a bit overrated...
  24. Clear sighted boy, even with the little help from the frost. I hope his mother listens and makes changes.

    Tomtar

Farmor is correct. As for tak... Do you mean roof? Or tack as in thank you...? 😉 I think you may be in Danish territory... We're pretty close, but not identical.
