Kiorl is a demon after all, a major one. So going on a spree is to be expected. Hard to stomach nonetheless. Perhaps it's his warped way of regaining control by losing it? That fallen angel is messing with his mind.

Gah!!! What was in those notes?!? I'll be climbing the walls till next week!

I smiled at the part about how Tomas started out reserved but then provided glimpses of his true self. It's so amazing when that happens, like finding a common rock that suddenly reveals a precious stone inside. A stone no one else knows about but you. Nice to see our cautious guys so comfortable and relaxed together.

So all is well at home. That's nice to have at least that part of his stress out of the way. And school is working out better than expected. It's just Adrian who's a dark cloud on his sunny sky. But Zac's right. He can't let himself be hung up on Adrian. He can't 'save' him unless Adrian wants to be saved. Or at least helped. To be anyone's dirty secret isn't the way to go. Perhaps he'll have a good time hanging out with Irene and Omari, make new friends and perhaps have someone to talk about his thoughts and worries. It'll be interesting to see how Omari views their 'date'.

Up and down this chapter... But I suspect his mother is more upset about the inappropriate behaviour rather than a possible relationship between Lonnie and Billy. Although, it might be a lot to take in to have another revelation in such a short time. But I have faith in Mom and Dad. So nice of his team mates to show up and support him. And for Zac to have a little flirting at the mall.

LOL I'm glad you got a little sunshine and heat in your day... People are different and that's fine. I just think we should do what we enjoy, as long as there is honesty and consent. Can be tricky though, to be so open not only to your partner but to yourself as well and know when to say yes and perhaps more importantly no. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Personally, I don't think mixing it up with more partners is necessarily a bad thing. However, everyone has to be on board, and usually that's where things go wrong. Joel isn't ready for a thing like that. Perhaps Lucas would be surprised at his own reactions too, now that he's in a different sort of relationship than he has had before. Not even dream Lucas wanted to share Joel... So my subconscious was probably telling me something. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Looking out at the falling snow, I so know what you mean... Glad to be of assistance. As for the dream thing... I was writing it as reality first but then I realized just what you're saying: Joel wouldn't do that in real life. It didn't make sense. Maybe in a few years from now, but I'm not sure. It is one of his fantasies, so I let his mind do its thing... Thanks for reading and reviewing!
-
Oh, sweetie... I hope you could go back and do a reread after the surprise ending was up! Joel simply let his mind run away with him. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I couldn't stop myself... These guys get me going. Hopefully, inspiration will strike again! Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Yeah, I miss them too. It was time for a little visit, just to scratch that itch. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Joel leaned over the grill, snatching a burger for his already overloaded plate. He managed to fit it in a bun he had placed in a small space next to some grilled corn on the cob, potato salad and greens. The plate was balanced precariously on the can of beer in his hand. This was perhaps not his best idea that evening, but there were no tables around and he was determined to get his hands on a burger before they were wolfed down by his hungry colleagues. One thing you could be sure of at the Ki

Short stories of Joel and Lucas, perhaps from prompts or simpy when my muse whispers seductively in my ear...

Kiss him already!! LOL I'm ready to go over there and talk some sense into Emmett. But he'll be unable to stay that stubbornly oblivious to what the rest of his family sees. I wonder how come he's never been in love? Coincidence or choice? He can't be scared of love, having such a great experience of commitment.

Prompts Writing Prompts #538 & #539
Puppilull commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Writing World
Yay! I could use me some Z love... Getting cold here in Sweden. -
Oh, that diner conversation just had me laughing! Poor Dad, not getting a single innuendo... And Parker is right, he seems like an OK man. Then again, who knows how he would react to the truth? He didn't strike me as conservative/evil, more conservative/this has always worked for me - why change it? He might be set in his ways, but still want his son happy. I guess Matt is a better judge, since we only got a little snippet of the man.

Short and sweet! Sigh...

So interesting to follow Lahha on his discovery of the body he now inhabits. Must be so strange with all the wants and needs that you can't identify at first. Like a baby. Although they have instincts to guide them. And Kiorl...? You have it bad... LOL

Chapter 9 - Shoot for the Stars
Puppilull commented on Cynus's story chapter in Chapter 9 - Shoot for the Stars
What a sweet moment for them! Reconnecting and affirming their bond through pleasure and honesty. Perhaps this will give Zane the strength to take on his father. In a constructive way, if possible. The situation must be resolved somehow. -
Oh crap... Yago didn't just ruin everything? What will Ysabel do now...? And the fight between Eamon and Luca was heartbreaking. I hope Adrian realizes what's going on and talks some sense into Luca. There is something special between them, if they couldonly talk honestly for once.
-
Hmm... That's a frightening prospect, having to hope for the person in possession of your mate's soul to be a reasonably good person... Poor Lydia!
-
That's the spirit, Zac! I can understand his anger and perhaps mostly frustration with Adrian, but I think he really doesn't understand. Still hope his team mates are supportive.

You know with an ending like that, there will be requests (or more likely demands) for a sequel! What does Been nan think about what just happened? Are they stuck on seeing each other just a few hours each year? That said, it's impressive how you can tell a complete story in such few words. I really need to learn that...

I'm really intrigued by your story as it's so very different from the usual ones here. The darkness is compact and the image you paint of the party scene is chilling. Using and abusing... The people who knew the whole event was sick but went ahead anyway... To get to know man who is not a good man is fascinating. And as always, your writing is amazing. That said I must add two things that bothered me. First I find his coming from being raped in severe pain very strange. Of course, I'm not a man and lack knowledge of the pure physical aspects of the male anatomy, but would a guy who never gives it up really respond like that? Second, his realization of his own flaws and despicable acts came a bit sudden. His personality (arrogant and callous) would make me expect either anger or denial at this stage, the morning after. Running away yes, but to plot his revenge or just getting out of there to forget it ever happened. Not accepting it as fair turnabout. He's been repeatedly raped, drugged and humiliated. That to me would spark a more intense reaction. Just a few thoughts...

That was the best present ever! What a great idea for a special friend. I don't get why Emmet is so hesitant to take things further, but it could be that he senses the beginning of something amazing. Not to be rushed. Well, they have a month.
