I think the sad truth is the audience wouldn't reward them... Making the same few movies works and brings in the big money. Hope you get to see the movie sometime. A blindfold for previews could perhaps be useful.

Oh yeah... Some one on one syrupy time is what they need... Mom ears... LOL I got those too. Combined with a sixth sense of mischief.

Oh, I'm sensing a new, great story from you! I'm already hooked on Kian. An assassin... With a conscience? Or simply wanting to strike out on his own? I'm sure Daven will be an interesting acquaintance as well.

This was a set up to a good story if I ever saw one! LOL What will be said between nerd and rock boy that afternoon...?

So more family skeletons come out... I will never understand parents who choose a despicable partner over their kids. No matter how tough, Cory's mom would have had a better life for her and the kids without that bastard. Not believing it's his children... And now she needs to act and act fast or risk losing not only Cory but the rest too. And poor Cory needs some serious Efrain and Lola therapy.

I love the idea of a relationship as a tapestry! So true how the different threads blend and create the images of our lives, beautiful as well as sad, only to sometimes part ways. The trick is to handle those knots with care.

San Francisco: My Beautiful Friend
Puppilull commented on MrM's story chapter in San Francisco: My Beautiful Friend
Despite all the love floating around, this was a rather sad chapter. So much heartbreak and loneliness caused by other people or simply life... I hope they all find what they are looking for, at least for now. Sometimes, that can go a long way. -
MetaFanFic Holidays Part 2
Puppilull commented on PkCrichton's story chapter in MetaFanFic Holidays Part 2
As always, snippets like these make me really miss Al... And to see him so filled with longing and confusion, yet so nice and caring for Sam just augments that feeling. -
Another step on their way to an everyday life together. So adorable to see Emmett and Pitanê get to know each other in fur. Hard to shake that little tiny cloud of their slightly differing wants for the future. Still, my bet is they work out a compromise.

This was an update I've been looking forward to! So much coming to light here, and things aren't always as they seem. Could the Wind Master be so different from Kai? I really like to see how conflicted Dean is about Victoria. Many other mate-stories make the mates out to be heartless and oblivious, instantly forgetting the person they love. Not Dean. Makes it more believable.

Meta merchandise: shirts, pants, boots, chains, locks...

I so have to get one of those!

As a choir singer, I can so relate to these. No 4 especially during Christmas, as there are certain songs we sing that all to easily slip into autopilot mode due to having sung them sooo many times before. Very difficult to keep those songs fresh and interesting.

This story has a very nice old fashioned feel to it. The choice of words is so different from your other work. Very well carried out! I'm very curious about where Tristan will go and the adventures he'll have. One thing made me go hmm, though. A sheep is not a very big animal, barely higher than an average 4-5 yo. To have Tristan not much taller at age ten would make him very tiny... LOL

Prompt 544 It’s time to bury the hatchet.
Puppilull commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 544 It’s time to bury the hatchet.
Naughty boys! Or...? LOL Good that they cleared the air. No need to go around holding grudges unnecessarily. -
Such a warm story of pretty ordinary people living and sometimes struggling with their pretty ordinary lives. And the result is anything but ordinary! Goes to show that we all have a story to tell, although most of us only tell the ones closest to us. Jamie and Blaine seem to be a very good match and I think they will handle anything that life throws at them. Even a baby... Those things aren't the end of the world as we know it. More a dip in the curve. Also, a tip for Jamie. Women are just humans. Not anymore difficult to figure out than men... I find both equally perplexing.

It was heartwarming to see just how deeply Bill has touched his neighbours even without noticing himself. Just being there for everyone. I'm glad they took the opportunity to show him how much he means to them. For him to meet Tommy will hopefully connect him with that part of the family. I think Bill and Tommy can both learn from each other.

Hmm... Those were some pretty tough questions. If the story had been told from Dana's POV I would probably have said he should get as far away from Ivan as possible. Nor a good combo, those two, really. Both recovering from the past. However, as the story unfolds through Ivan's eyes, it's pretty clear he's come a very long way from dealing with his past. Just that he actually told Dana right away was strong evidence of that. Still, they will both need to be vigilant of any relapse moments on either side. They could both trigger each other in dangerous ways. I hope for the best for them. Perhaps because I do believe people can change. For real.

Good to see Kraig take up some space and speak his mind. Even if I guess the claws were a bit of a surprise for him...

Hmm... Does Toby have a secret...? That complete disinterest from the police seems mighty suspicious. But I guess Daniel has other things on his mind for the moment.

How To Build The (Almost) Perfect Christmas?
Puppilull commented on Mikiesboy's blog entry in Mikiesboy's Blog
But what you described in your original post wasn't simply poor planning, but something else. That lack of joy over preparations should be observed, so you can avoid it next year. OK, Dr Phil... Ehum... Dr Puppi will shut up now. LOL -
She was a kick ass princess. The only kind I wanted to be. Farewell, your highness...

Bow... Bend... It's all good. As long as they rever!

This story made me think. So good work! A very sad ending even if it ended with the word hope. Perhaps the state of the world makes that a very struggling light... I feel the gods weren't much godlike when they couldn't even tell right from wrong, true from false. They seemed to be fumbling just as much as the humans are. Not very much guidance to be had from them. It seemed a bit lopsided to me that the men could live indefinitely without women while the women went feral without a man... Or rather their blood. It would have been a good balance to the story and not so 'one supreme villain' if the men had a need or a weakness too. The threat of far off extinction sure, but something else would have provided a balance. Just a thought.
