    Thanks for the review jess! The realization he needs to apologize is most likely a good sign. Chuck's camera will get sorted out in a little while. There certainly seems to be some money behind the attempt to spring the attackers, that's for sure. Well, you know how it goes in Skinnyland.

    Thanks for all the great comments Def! Lots of questions and possibilities in Skinnyland, but things DO seem to be about to wind up, then make a turn, right? And they are. The next chapter is the final chapter in Part 3 of David's Journey. Friday (David time) will begin Part 4 of our 5 part story. Whew!

    Thanks for your review Def! Maybe this Gary mission will get him off of his self-flagellation. There's got to be more to Gary than that, no matter how 'gutless' Tommy thinks he is. Speaking of Tommy, yes - everything you say. He's got to be the funnest character I've ever written. He surprises me more each time.

    Thanks jess for all the great comments! David averting his face at the last minute, during Burch's swing, could have saved lots of problems. Feeling free has got to help him heal. Matty is pretty sure Mark is straight, just getting his young rocks off. That's why he was thinking of actually getting a bf. You're right. Tommy has an accurate read on his brother and knows how he likely reacts. That may turn out to be a good thing for D1 in the long run. "Everything seems to be significant in Skinnyland" ...love it!

And please don't piss off Tommy, he did much for you, amazingly selfless given his age ... Embrace "Tommy logic" ... and yes ... it is a little fucked up ... but it is beautiful ... Thanks for the review oxala! You're right, David is a little 'out of it' but seems to be coping, in a surreal sort of way. (as usual? ...hehe) Tommy Logic is irrepressible. Let's hope it will include Twoey somewhere.

    Very nice tim! A fitting ending in every sense. Tait has gained strength and confidence but still has demons.     A truly beautiful chapter Ron! The "nice" parts of Casey's new life actually coming together. Lane, Shade/Megan, Karen. Even Dad is starting to be warmer and let's not forget Rodney. It's just the twisted Baseball hooligans that seem to need a conflict with Casey. I wonder if there's a valid reason, or if Curtis simply rubs off on them. Thanks for sharing this great story!

    Another great chapter oat! We were anticipating this, with all the pitfalls the evening would contain. You certainly didn't disappoint, even adding one or two we didn't see coming. The whole Adam/Kevin chemistry (if we allow ourselves to call it that) is proving to be the most entertaining thing I've read in quite a while! Good work! Now our anticipation builds for another weekend, the dreaded sisterly visit where Adam becomes Peter - Yikes! Thanks for giving us this great story!

    Thanks for the review and comments Lisa! Gary'd description of David's Grampa and Uncle John being "sorta best friends when they were young" was his 15yo mind saying "a long time ago." The 'sorta best friend' relationship doesn't have to be the same as Dad & Dad or Gary & David, who were each high school friendships. The NYC pair are more business related, as we'll obliquely discover. Let's just say PPF better say a rosary he doesn't get found by them. Martin is handsome too. Matty is, as usual, hedging his bets. Yes, David is back. D2 did his job and almost got them killed, so he can put him in a box and up on that shelf in his brain.

    Well I put my big boy boots on and read Book 1, even the disturbing first few chapters. This was an interesting journey for the young Devin and I'm happy he reached the end of high school in a more positive place. I'm not sure the long distance relationship with Alex can work out, but it'll be interesting to follow, plus all the college challenges, in Book 2. A good story Hunter!

    Since they each have issues with difficult backgrounds, I suppose it's inevitable these little land mines will surprise, from time to time. The good thing was each time they recovered they were in each others arms. If that becomes imprinted in their brains, then the future looks promising. Nice chapter Gary. While it looked like bumps in the road, there was a lot of paving going on.

    Thanks oxala! Tommy and Twoey seem to be on the mend. Wonder if Twoey would confide in Tommy re:the forbidden subject? Now that would be interesting. I think D2 is history, as may be PPF if the NYC godfather gets a fix on him. Maybe the bang on the head beat the clueless out of our hero?
