    Never Again

I can agree with that. Always good to try, because they just may be stronger and more together when all is said and done.

    Never Again

Truthfully, I’m not sure what to think of Arnie and his cheating ways. Maybe, he does deserve a second chance, but maybe he doesn’t. Maybe, it’s really Jarrod and what he needs/wants that matters. If giving Arnie, and by extension his marriage, a second chance, then I’m okay with that. Sure would be be nice to know what lead Arnie to Gary in the first place. Maybe a moment of uncertainty exploited by a predator? Hmm...lots to think about with this one. Nicely done, tim as you have left me wanting more...
  3. A visit with these two is always guaranteed to be a treat, and this was no exception. 🤗 Thanks for this, tim. PS: @AC Benus Werewolves of London makes for a great accompaniment when commenting on a Hallowe’en tale.
  4. Excellent questions and answers Cia and Carlos. It did take me a bit to get the hang of reading the story in the format presented, but once I did...well, the cheekiness, innuendo and the seemingly boundless double entendres made for a delightful read. They certainly are a lively bunch. Even though it’s not as speech driven, I can see similarities to American Steel in these MCs. They have very strong characters who easily make they’re presence known and felt not only by the reader but by their fellow page inhabitants. PS: I was thinking about your current ride recently, but I couldn’t remember what it was, and now I don’t need to wonder.

    Part I

    Hmm...

    Part I

I was intrigued the idea of Tony and Colt needing a booster shot, so I decided to have a chat with Mr. Google Define: Booster shot Notice a particular word in the definition that looks familiar? Coincidence? I think not....

    I Promise

Can’t believe it took me this long to read Tony and Colt’s story...
  8. Wonderful and sweet images these words invoke, tim. Made me smile. Twice, I have had sparrows feed right from my hand. Then again, these birds were downtown and getting scraps from delighted humans is an art form they have honed and mastered. Always fluttering and hopping around when there’s a tasty snack to be had. It’s a nice thing having a feeder that allows such close interactions with nature. As always, nicely done. PS: These are the birds who delicately accepted the proffered treat. http://toronto-wildlife.com/Birds/Sparrows/sparrows.html
  9. That last line...
  10. tim... @MichaelS36 Your always being there for tim means a lot.
  11. You didn’t do anything wrong, Victor. It’s all on him, so hold your head up high.
  12. tim Thank you for sharing cognac’s poems with the rest of us. And, thank you for using your gift with words to say so eloquently what many of us would like to say, but cannot.

No. 1 It seems your new plan is working. Wonderful, just absolutely, wonderful news. No. 2 Sad your friend is consumed by these feeling. I hope your friend heeds the sage advice imparted in this poem, and no doubt in words spoken aloud. As always, nicely done, tim.
  16. Congrats, Carlos! Has it really been a year already? This terrific edition of AAA was an excellent way to celebrate your one year anniversary. Well done!
  17. That was most excellent, Def! I really like your interpretation of the Prompt.
  18. Of that, I am glad. Not that I think the joint that is you is messy, mind you....
  19. It so totally was fun. You nailed this one, tim.
  20. Didn't see the ending coming. Well done, tim! Coming to the end of the story, this line has more meaning now... Oh, and I loved your choice of descriptors. foray, conducted the transactions, Blue-Dot Days... And, I liked how you told your readers the language Otto spoke is not German I like this way of telling us what Otto and Martha said through Wim's eyes. I think a spell was cast on spoken bits, because the font size says it's 14, but it's still very large. Maybe, they were just really loud? Okay, Ima gonna to stop now, before the entire story ends up in my comment. I think you've figured out by now, I liked it a lot!
  21. I read this story quite a while ago. The details are a bit fuzzy, but I do know I enjoyed it. Hmm...I think I should read it again to unfuzzy the details.
  22. I will always read what you write, no matter what. I will never ignore you, no matter what. Though you cannot see me, I am on your side. You will always be someone, because you are in my thoughts. I hope putting these words in black and white enables you to purge them from your soul and banish them to the bin where they belong. Luv you lots, tim! xoxo

    Chapter 5

The HEAer in me would like Josh and Kells relationship to get back on track ASAP. Having said that and thought about it for a bit, maybe taking the approach of putting their history - short it may be, but quite significant, imo - to bed and moving on by dating other people is a good idea. Josh will get a chance to see things from a different perspective. Either, he will like what he sees or he's going to be taking trips down memory lane he hadn't planned on. As for Kells, he may have utilized his "little black book" for a hook up, but I see him taking that route to try and convince himself that's what he should do. His head says that is so, but his heart says differently. I'm rooting for his heart to win in the end. As always, you have a fantastic way with words, Starry. Nicely done.
