Why yes, it will be, because I actually do have a Whirley pop.

Scary movie...with popcorn, of course.

Lonestar Chronicles is what I was thinking of, but couldn't remember the name.
-
I did enjoy them, very much.

Wow...impressed, I am. So true this is not your usual repertoire. No matter, you own these words, and the tale they tell. Well done tim, well done!

Even if you can’t feel it right now, you are a strong and wonderful person, Renee. I see it in your interactions and friendships with people - myself included - on GA. As for your poem? The strength and resolve of your spirit comes through clearly.

The ending was perfect in every way. Thank you, tim, for sharing this wonderful story with all of us. Much appreciated. I’m still ....

Number of Notification Announcement is Repeating
Reader1810 replied to Reader1810's topic in Site Help
I’m not having getting repeat notifications anymore. Whatever you did, thanks! @Myr -
Great chapter, though I wasn’t surprised in the least. Good to see that love (Don) has triumphed and finally squashed - it has hasn’t it? - lust (Harry). As always, nicely done

Need something to smile about? Watch this: Nubs had a ruff start in life, but look at him now...

My stated number of Notifications isn't working right, and I'm pretty sure it was okay before the site when down for maintenance today. Each time I logged onto GA tonight, I got a Notification for something I have previously received a Notification for. Eg. I have been Notified three times that AC Benus has posted a story review, and yet, the Notification only shows up one time in my list. I also noticed this happening with comments and reactions to posts as well, so my Notification number has been erroneously high at times. It's not a big issue, I know, but it is confusing to be "told" I have fourteen Notifications, when I only have three. Oops, forgot to add, I’m using Chrome on a Macbook Air and a mini iPad. Edit: the Notifications are repeating even when I'm on GA, so it's not just connected to logging on. There seems to be a time factor involved as well. Older ones that have reached the one hour mark are not repeating or have stopped repeating. Oct 7. Logged on and had 14 notifications. Only 9 were new.

Getting Back On The Horse
Reader1810 commented on mollyhousemouse's blog entry in Mollyhousemouse's Stash
These quotes are wonderful, molly, and can inspire any time. I think I might write them out - my printer is on strike - and stick them on my fridge.- 25 comments

I really liked this chapter for all its "bits" that formed a whole to leave me smiling and satisfied at the end. What bits you aask? Why, the funny bits, the sexy bits, the family unity bits, the 'our life is coming together and moving forward' bits. And then, there was Lou's trip down memory lane. That was sweet. tim, as I appreciated your choice of words in a previous chapter - the same flavours reference - I liked the following in this chapter: Out beyond the window, the breeze made the leaves on the trees flutter, they flipped exposing the shiny top and matte undersides. It looked like a dance, a celebration of the setting sun. I've never thought of describing leaves that way - shiny top, matte undersides - but it is spot on, isn't it? I know I'm going to be thinking of this description next time I look - and really see - the leaves. As always, nicely done.

tim You describe the changes we experience with the coming of Autumn in a very lovely way. As for me, I haven't seen any barren branches yet, but I do appreciate how pretty they look when they're all covered in snow. As always, nicely done.

This is wonderful, Wesley. You may not have known your brother, but you've honoured him well with your words.
