I didn't want to put into words as to what I think is up/will happen with Miriam, because I'd rather see where you take us with her and her current predicament. As for you and your plots being simple, did I mention I got whiplash with this chapter - I'm all healed up btw, thanks for your concern - and that was just this chapter, you always leave your readers guessing, and pondering and thinking about what ifs and this, that, and the other thing - just need to read the reviews to know that's true.
-
Okay, so I haven't finished the chapter as yet, but I thought to myself "I'm really enjoying this story - the little bunny in the Mack truck headlights was pure genius - then there was that knock on the door. First thought: Oh good God, what does Miriam want? After my whiplash settled... why is she crying and hugging first Louis and then Don? You really know how to surprise your readers', don't you tim? Well done! Okay, back to the chapter to find out what's up with Miriam.... Hmm...wasn't expecting that ending. Now my imagination is conjuring up all sorts of scenarios of the future. Will one of them come true? For now, the burning question is what made her change mind about Lious and Don?

Hey tim Bit late with this, but better late than never as the saying goes, right? Anyhoo, I'm really happy for both Don and Lous - still love that nickname - that Don regained feeling and function of a certain appendage. That may not be the only thing that makes them a couple and binds them together, but it's important to them both, so hooray for that little miracle. Next point: Two hours later, we finally got out of bed, showered together and took the elevator downstairs to make ... lunch! Not sure what you were hoping for here, but this gave me the giggles. It was unexpected, but welcome. It spoke of the fun and silliness that is another part of their relationship. Also, it was an excellent way to take your readers to the next stage of their day, seamlessly and smoothly. With all the talk about real life issues - having kids! wow - a lot went on in this chapter, and I am seeing them once again getting on the right road, dealing with what needs dealt with, and moving forward. Another great chapter, and look at that, I don't have to wait until next week to read the next one. Yay!!

That's awesome news! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, Lacey.

Is this a second chance being offered to me? If you think it might be, then I say, make it so, and run with it! Good and positive vibes emanate from that line. As always, nicely done, tim.

When it comes to fundraising for victims of Hurricane Harvey, a five year old girl shows us how it's done. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4854568/Hurricane-Harvey-victims-help-five-year-old-girl.html

Yes, CJ has Lola. But she didn't give him the courage to stand up and take action. That courage is all him, and he's got it in spades. Have to say, I think it's a good thing CJ's heroics fell to the back pages, so he can get back to living his life as is his want. Only thing, once something is on the internet, it lives there forever. Will this photo make a comeback in CJ's life? And what will be the outcome of said comeback? Hmm.... Parting words: very proud of CJ. Very proud.

sean, I really appreciate the words you have written to explain who you are and why. It's a shame that there are people out there that need a 'lesson' to understand that who you are is perfect and right, and there is nothing negative about it. In the final stanza, you clearly show that Mac loves you because he is always there for you. With your parting words, you stand tall and unshakable. Strong and meaningful are these statements. From your posts in the DIC, I know that you are kind and thoughtful. Two exceptional attributess, imo.

I've said it before, but it bears repeating. If writing about it, and sharing that morose (or whatever else you need to let go of) with us, your friends, helps you shed it - even if it's just a little bit - then do it. We'll gladly help you carry your load. Apologies for that very long second sentence. The thoughts just spewed out of me, and couldn't find a proper place to go...

We can be here for a hundred years, and have nothing to show for it. But you, my friend? You're way ahead of the curve in just a third of that time. You have shown us different ways to look at our world, and have done so with the honesty of your beautiful and compassionate soul. Through your words, you have shown me and many others what is important in this one life we are given. We ponder and contemplate thanks to the teachings in your words. Some may know with more certainty when their time will be up, but no one knows what will happen in the future to maybe alter that certainty. If I was in charge, I know what I would alter... As always...well, you know the rest

A fond farewell to my home

Good luck with your move to Prince George, Hunter. I hope it will be a great and wonderful adventure for you. PS: I know the feeling of not liking change. I think no matter the circumstances that lead you to this, you're very brave in undertaking this journey to an unknown place. -
Okay, I like Harry now. Something may happen between him and Louis in the future, but he's got enough integrity, smarts, and compassion to know, that time has not yet arrived. Training with Don for a shared goal was a stroke of genius on Harry's part. Poor Louis, though. He is going to, literally, have to leave his comfort zone behind. Don, Don, Don.... You push Louis toward Harry, but I guess it's only okay when you're pulling the strings, eh? Excellent chapter, tim. PS: I was pondering which emoji to end this with, and I think the little guy spinning happily in circles fits the bill perfectly. I'll let him do the spinning, though, so I don't get dizzy and fall into the furniture.

love this poem in its entirety, but the final stanza? Wow... That is what it's all about. As always, nicely done, my friend. Edit: Oops, I liked this poem so much, I duplicated my comment.

That Don, he is a stubborn one, isn't he? I am glad that he admitted how much he needs Louis, and I think that will be good for him in the long run. As for all the other obstacles they have to overcome? One figurative step at a time. Rome wasn't built in a day and all that. Regarding Harry? Louis' views and thoughts may change as time goes by, but I'm not sure Harry's the right choice. He may be good in that he's not looking for attachments, but his 'flirty' behaviour seems a bit misplaced at this point in time. Unless, did Don already chat with him about this prior to the meeting? Something tells me Harry has met Louis before, so his desires aren't new or went unnoticed. Then again, maybe Im overthinking things... As always, nicely done, tim.

As I say to tim after he graces us with his writing, so now I say to you... Nicely done, Mike. I really appreciate the thoughts and ideas behind these words.

Totally agree, Moggy. Even the bad people have taught us something. Hopefully, though it was a lesson that had positive results.
