    Sometimes

moggy, I would ride that roller coaster with you anytime. Numbers two and three - words of wisdom Number four made me laugh, I think my brain is twisted...sorry Good job on the lot of these, moggy.

    Pain

I like them all moggy. Number one speaks the loudest for me. They are all powerful for the stories they tell. Well done, moggy PS: I wouldn't know anything about form even if it hit me in the head. However, I do like that you were able to say so much in so few words.

Burlington doesn't have major industries like the cities surrounding it. Nor is it a university town like it's neighbour, Hamilton, so it's not surprising it gets overlooked. The intersting thing about these two places is that they are - from something I read long ago - the only two cities in the world that connect at their western points - something to do with how they are situated along Lake Ontario.

No comment. I'm too busy packing snowballs at the moment. Be prepared to duck!
  9. OMG!! @BlindAmbition I flashed on Math Lab beside the Chat heading and my brain read it as Meth Lab! Too freaking coincidentally funny.
  10. Guess which group I'm in.
  11. Math perfected its maniacal laughter taunting me. Sorry about that Page.
  12. Awesome post, Drew!!! That was beautiful!!!

    Gone

Your thoughts are wonderfully expressed in these words. As always, nicely done, tim.
  14. Some Good News to Make You Smile...
  15. Before it turned a lovely shade of mouldy. Excellent!
  16. Wonderful, Moggy, just wonderful. Ghosts are real...
  17. Yep, that's exactly what happened. I was just lucky not to have landed on my head. Good to know I am not unique. Though, I always thought I was the only one this ever happened to...
  18. Sorry, Lyssa. I read your post, which caused me to spontaneously giggle. I hope only your pride got hurt when you hit that's tree. To make up you feel better, I will tell you about a little mishap I experienced during one of my very few lessons. I got a leg up - I think that's the correct term - from one of the instructors early on in the lessons. Nothing wrong with that, right? No, of course not. Except I wasn't paying enough attention, and kept on going over the saddle and down the other side of the horse. Oops... Good thing the instructor didn't let go of me or I might have landed on my head.
  19. Hey Val Just noticed the newest edition to Chat Lite. I like the name, because you're right, there are lots of horse people on this site. Unfortunately, I'm not one of them. I took lessons once many, many years ago, and let's just say, it didn't go too well. I still like horses, and think they are beautiful, but they would be happier with someone else riding them. Good luck, and break a leg with the new thread.
  20. One of the hardest things we will have to do is watch a beloved pet slip away. Your emotions, feelings and thoughts come through loud and clear in your carefully chosen words. You did good, Drew. In taking care of Guero, and in writing this poem.

    Courting Ruin

I guess finding Ruin in the bedroom was better than the poltergeist's I was expecting. You had me going there for a minute, tim. Well done!
  22. I know I've said something about these wonderful poems, just where was that, though? I liked them the first time, and I'm sure I said so, but just in case- Oh, wait, I'm sure I said I loved these poems. If I didn't, I must have been half asleep when I read them. Okay, my mind is shooting sparks for some odd reason, so I'm going to shut up now.. Except to say. Nicely done, as always, tim

    Death

Dark subjects, yes, but very compelling and captivating. I saw Death, yes, I did. Well done, Moggy!

    The Ride

I see the images behind these words come alive in my mind's eye so very clearly. They evoke good and positive feelings. Made me
