  1. Ellen DeGeneres and Katy Perry reduce Orlando surivor to tears...but in a good way
  2. Ignorance (and insecurity I reckon) shows itself in many ways. I'm super glad you were able to rise above such a foolish soul. He/she is the loser not you! I love all that you write - yes, even the tough stuff because it needs to be said - so I'm happy you had the good sense (because I know how smart you are) to listen to the bunch of us as we spout off in protest. Keep on writing my friend and we'll keep on reading and that's a promise. PS: I recall telling you at some point in the past that I didn't read (translates to I didn't like) poetry until you came along. That saying something in my book.
  3. Adi's right, I couldn't stop reading. Alright, I stopped for dinner and a couple of other things that needed doing but then it was right back to it. The binge has ended and what a treat it was. Fantastic story Puppi! Now, it's very late I need to go to bed....hope I have no trouble waking up later...uh oh...
  4. Could say the same about you Puppi. I was going to edit my comment since I just got to the part where Lucas finds out that Koda is a Norwegian elkhound. I googled the name to see what that breed looked like - beautiful animal
  5. Just about to start chapter 5. I'm really enjoying this story Puppi.

    Adieu

Hey tim You know that we're going to protest this decision because we believe in what you write. It doesn't have to be pretty and tied up in a bow to be worthy or liked. Having said that, if keeping your poetry private is what you need to do for your sake, then that is what you need to do. As always, nicely done PS: If you change your mind, that'll be okay too.
  8. I've heard a lot of good things about this story. Time for a binge read...
  9. Sophie can skip to school thanks to generous Daily Mail readers
  10. Not what I expected what with the sharp turns in the plot (maybe just in my head ) but I like where it's heading. More please
  11. Great start to Travels and I have to say that I think Harley makes an excellent side kick for a road trip. Nice counterbalance with the domesticity of Cesar and Brett. They're solid and we (and they) know it. Makes me smile, that does.
  12. I saw that in the news and thought of you immediately. Stay safe my friend.

    Chapter 20

Well that was a close one... So glad that no matter what happens, these two don't let things stew and fester. I give them both an A for communication - if there is a problem they get it out in the open and fix it and make up ....and how. Nicely done Lit - even though you tormented us along the way....
  14. Hey tim While I like reading 'pretty" things because it's a nice escape, sometimes that is all it is. When you write, I know you're always thinking about what you write. Your gift is that you have the ability to make your readers stop and think about or see things in a different way. That's a good thing in my book. Oh, and you do write pretty things too. Just ask Larry! As always, nicely done.
  15. Saw that story as well, but you beat me to it.
  16. I loved the entire story...well, maybe not Carly's horrid behaviour...but what I appreciated most was the communication between Craig and Jared. They listened to each other with both being of strong enough character that they could see past the idea that men are supposed to do things for themselves -getting help with your troubles is not emasculating.

    Small Rant

I put this in the Good News thread, but I wanted to share it here as well. Michigan couple wins years worth of free pizza; donates the lot to a homeless youth shelter It may not be for everyone, but it helps

    Well said tim!

  21. Home Depot Employees live their motto: More Saving, More Doing to help Texas boy
  22. They didn't get a gold, silver or bronze but they won a medal that's only been awarded 17 times...not bad, if you ask me. Rare Pierre de Coubertin medal awarded

    Love Song

Hey tim I do see a song in the future. It will be no less true than words set to music, but it will be in disguise - befitting the songwriter. As always, nicely done!

    Love Lost

Hey tim Glad to hear you're getting back on track (read your comment to Gary) but I'm not surprised by that really. You and Michael are both smart and willing to work at what is important. Hugs to you both! As always, nicely done my friend
