    No Val, it's not a secret or a mystery as to who wrote this story. I seem to recall a certain GA member posting a picture of her childhood horses. Thanks for sharing what had to be a wonderful Christmas. I will make this official, I say that Val wrote this.

    I should be surprised, but knowing you to be the talented writer that you are, I'm not. From feeling sadness, tragic and trepidation, I come away from this story feeling hopeful. That's what that beautiful ending did for me. Well done tim, well done...

    What's that saying. Oh, yes "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade". Lonnie and Stephen more than made up for missing out on their trip to the lodge. I think they will have a very merry Christmas after all. Nice story. As to which of you three wrote this tale? At first I was thinking Cole with the references to locations in his home state. But no, I think they're nothing but red herrings. My vote is for Val.

    It took a couple of passes before I could grasp the meaning of these words...but when I did? I wish I could say I knew which words were gone and which words were new, but I confess I have no clue. But maybe, that's the point. These poems read and sound as they should with nothing tripping my tongue. Bravo to you tim for this seamless exchange. I liked them all, but Celebration spoke to me the loudest...of happiness and friendship everlasting. As always, nicely done.

    Hey tim It's funny timing - or maybe not - but on one of my recent walks, I really noticed the "Dogmen" as you've pegged them (quite correctly, I might add) out walking critters that surely they did not pick of their own volition. I wasn't sure where this story was going because of Sam's inner thoughts and all the twists and turns, but I am happy with where he and Randy ended up. You very ably hammered home the idea that it's okay to change something if you don't like it or you're unhappy. Communication is a key part of any relationship - something that Sam and Randy came to realize in time. As always, nicely done.

    ‘d this tim!! Both Lev and Jon suffered at the hands of others (I'm assuming Danny was the negative in his and Jon's relationship) so it's really good to see them find each other. I fully expect theirs to be a lasting love with Lev one day being collared by Jon. As always, nicely done.
