I shouldn’t be surprised by this point, but hearing bird song as it gets dark/is dark still gets me every time I hear it. It is a lovely sound, mind you, so maybe that’s why...
-
I hear you, Wayne. The neighbours’ little girl painted a hand-sized rock with a lovely message on it, and left it for us to find on the door step. Started the day with a smile, it did.

Glad to hear they found the source of the virus, A. I like pumpkin loaf as well so I went looking for a recipe with Mr google. The following is for a moist bread and has a short prep time. https://www.littlesweetbaker.com/soft-moist-pumpkin-bread/

Good to know, because I have all the ingredients on hand. I think I shall be baking tomorrow.

These made me smile. Though the second last stanza was hard to read, the one that followed... that’s as it should be. As always, well done, tim.

I’m not the praying type, but I believe in good thoughts. Sending lots to you and your mom, A. Oh, and this too.
-
I hope you both feel better soon.
-
If I could, I’d make this for you. Hope you feel better soon, tim

I’m looking forward to reading this.

Congrats to daughter! Though I have to say: Graduation already? It seems like only yesterday was her first day - how time flies...

No wind, but there’s rain.

I’ve seen this for other zoos from all over the world as well. It’s nice you get to see things you normally wouldn’t. Somewhat in this vein, Canada’s Wonderland is streaming what riding is like in the front cars of their rollercoasters. I saw it in a news article for something kids can do now, but I don’t think it’s new.

Hi rick *waves* I had a pork chop and broccoli for dinner, which was very good. I love the idea of a casserole, though. Feels like comfort food. Enjoy it when it’s ready. Things are finally looking up because I’ve managed to silence my knee pain with the help of a heating pad. I hope this will last,.. *fingers crossed*

Baseball sized hail? Wow... Hope that misses you, Fae.

It is a bit gray, but I can hear the birds chirping, so it can’t be too bad out there. Aside from my right knee aching (thank goodness I’ve got fresh supplies of Voltaren and Motrin) I’m doing okay. I am glad you perceive a quick end to what is brining you down today.
-
I hope you took the day, tim. Take care.

Hey rick, good night and sweet dreams to you, too. Im taking it easy in wind down mode as it’s getting late.

Looks great, molly.

It’s nice when rewards are shared. Just saying
-
I’m guessing your reward was a bike ride and not cross stitching? Just a guess, mind you. 🤔
-
And you did, you really did.

Good morning!!!! You a funny man, Wayne, a very funny man.

It is sad, I’ve crossed paths with dogs during my walks, and it’s evident a lot of them are thinking as they strain at their leash “but mom/dad I just wanna say hi” A woman commented she sees this in her dog. Poor doggies, just don’t understand. When I was a teen and helping my friend babysit (it was summer, so the front door was open, but the screen door was closed) and wouldn’t you know it, there was a bark at the door. It was the neighbour’s dog looking for his pal to come out and play. That was almost 40 years ago, and I can still see that dog at the door. So yes, dogs do have friends. Edit: As for Brutus? I predict an exuberant reunion when the time finally arrives.

It cuts off quickly, but I just have to show you this video of two dog pals kept apart for a month by the coronavirus lockdown. Dogs do feel...
